Rey always had a positive aura, everytime you saw a rey mysterio entrance, the camera used to pan towards a kid smiling and enjoying watching his hero

@@yaknowglock5353 Well yes and no. Dom should have much better straight line speed given his height & weight. But he doesn’t. In-ring Rey is obviously faster bc he has more room in there being a smaller guy. But its nothing against Dom, it just goes to show that his father is a generational athlete in any discipline. Running faster than a 20 something year old pro-athlete at 50+ is ridiculous!

It’s rare for a wrestler to be face this long and still be cheered everytime he shows up

Rey is definitely one of the greatest WWE wrestlers of all time. And one of the most iconic!

It’s crazy that Rey not only still wrestles but still keeps up with the young guys

Reys been wrestling for over 30 years and still performing at a high level which is even more surprising given his style hes the greatest cruiserweight and one of the greatest ever

Seth told the truth here. Many of us in India started watching WWE or even came to know about wrestling itself only after watching Rey Mysterio for the first time on TV. Today India became WWE 's perhaps 2nd largest subscriber base. Rey is always a legend for us. His charisma, that mask, the moves & I still can't believe how he's moving with the same speed he used to move 20 years ago.

Rey is on my Mount Rushmore because if not for him, there is no lucha libre like we know it today. He’s in my Mount Rushmore with Undertaker, Cena and Austin.

His first pro match was in 1989, he was 14 years old.

I’ve learned to appreciate Rey it’s like seeing big show every time he returns but they did alot for the business

Tbh Rey is a staple of not just lucha, but now just wrestling in general just because of his pioneering with psychosis in ECW and in WCW along with the great Eddie Guerrero in so many other Lucha Legends

Rey was 17 when he had that infamous match with Eddie on Halloween Havoc in WCW. To be wrestler at that age and already performing at that level speaks volumes

Rey is way underrated and lot of people didn’t count him as top athlete but he is a great talent

Every wrestling fan growing up in the 2000s all you needed to hear was “BOYAKA BOYAKA 619!”

The break different helped him. I feel like from 2006 onwards he became slow, stale and then when he returned it was like he was 90s Rey again with the way he moved.
