They trust local players ... they are backing bhuvi, nattu , samad , abhishek from many seasons now those players are paying back ... look at KKR ... they backed Rinku , Russel , Naraine , Nitish for so many seasons even when they were underperforming now those same players are paying them back with performances ... I thought under Mike hesson, we had moved a little forward. A decent bowling line up, in Hardhal and Hasaranga. Who were the top wicket tackers for RCB in the last 3 seasons. Come this season you sell 2 of your best bowler and you do not even try to replace them.

Rajasthan Royals showing faith in Riyan Parag, Yashasvi, Shimron, sanju and Buttler is now giving them very positive results. In bowlers they picked up Chahal, Ashwin which are best quality spinner of Indian origin apart from these now they are preparing some fast bowlers like kuldeep sain and surely Rajasthan will get good number of wickets from him as well. ❤❤

Kkr had different case in 2012 and 2014 than RCB. Kkr management realised that Eden Gardens aids spinners so they made a quartet of quality spinners between 2011-2015. Shakib al hasan, Iqbal Abdullah, Sunil narine and chawla. They also had Rajat bhatia who had good cutters as medium pace bowler. I remember in 2011 and 2012 season under Gambhir's captaincy when kkr used to bowl 5-6 overs of spin in powerplay and they would squeeze opposition's run rate completely. Even scoring 40 in 6 overs against kkr was dufficult. While RCB can't do the same because chinnaswamy is graveyard for spinners as well as pacers. Rcb don't even know what their strength is hence they don't utilize home conditions properly

I think the reason is RCB in general has a terrible culture irrespective of who's in the team leadership. CSK's support staff is mostly foreigners as well but the main difference is that most of them are former CSK players and all of them try to continue the culture of assurance and backing that CSK has set. RCB has never had such a culture and they try to change things too often which creates doubt and as a result of that doubt there's chaos.

What Uthappa is saying is in ground reality - RCB management does not know management itself. Then why blame players. The management just wants to own a team just for luxury.

Rcb’s biggest issue is that all of their top batsmen suffer from hit or miss problem. Abd, gayle, Maxwell, Faf- all of them are either gonna score 100 or get out in zero. There’s nothing in between. In 2008, Deccan chargers had the same problem. Afridi, Gilchrist, symonds- all the big hitters were there. But they were also hit/ miss batsmen. There’s no mentality for partnership or taking a inning deep. Also I wanna say most RCB players and coaches played for themselves. I have to point out Kohli’s selfishness. He couldn’t deliver as a captain for multiple seasons. Yet he didn’t resign or step Down. Same with Sanjay banger I remember Dinesh Kartik stepped down as the KKR captain after one bad season. That’s what accountability looks like. I wish Kohli had the same guts. RCB wanted him as the poster boy for marketing purpose

My pick observation 🧐: The captains who have lead RCB has not even won a single trophy in icc tournaments and even ipl example Virat Kohli, Faf , Daniel vitori and Rahul Dravid. Be it Gambhir, Rohit, Dhoni and even DK, they all shuffled up and down the order to back youngsters. Even Shreyas has been batting at No.4 this season. Samson too juggled between 3 and 4 last season for Padikkal But RCB cant request Virat Kohli to use his experience in the middle order and push youngsters up the order. . . They blew up 2 seasons in 2020 and 2021 by pushing AB down to 5 but Virat opened or batted at No.3 Time RCB put team before the player if they want to win

Bro look back at the seasons padikkal used to open rcb had the slowest run rate in middle overs .... Both him and Virat Used to play really slow ... Together .... They put the brakes in middle overs .... Padikkal doens't have the power game it's after faf came that the run rate went up and that aggression was seen to an extent ..... Or else it was such a snooze fest watching Virat and padikkal bat together ..... It's good padikkal was let go by RCB .... I consider parthiv Patel to be a much much better opener than padikkal .... Always used to give RCB those aggressive starts .... Hence we can see how padikkal is failing in middle order he cant bat with modern T20 strike rate

I completely agree and I think he deserves more blame not just for that but also because he's their biggest star so while he was captain and even now without the captaincy he has the most leverage. If he chooses to leave then RCB lose a ton of money from sponsorships and their fanbase collapses so he could force their hand to build a strong team and change the culture but he's clearly content with not winning.

In big tournament if player like kohli comes in top means you need similar player at no. 5 or no. 6 position else it will build lot of pressure psychologically on team if kohli scores little lesser strike rate or gets out for low score. And team will score run but will be always 15-20 runs short. That's the difference dhoni does for CSK. And RCB definitely need serious experienced bowling leader who can guide during match and lead from front like zaheer khan, bumrah, shami, pat Cummins.

Why? They are a franchise built on marketing. They can't win with Srini mama's politics, Ambanis influence and SRKs free fanbase. They are not aiming to be sporting success which costs money, they want to be a marketing success even if it means they spend to earn. KSCA is very strong board, and it does not allow to anyone (be it RCB management) to control pitch condition. It is not the case with CSK and KKR, because of strong star owners. Dinesh kartik in an interview admitted that, kkr management has a say in pitch condition during ipl.

Then why doesn't RCB purchase fast bowlers who can thrive on these conditions? CSK purchases spinners and batters who will thrive batting on Chepauk and that's why they're successful because they build around their team around their home ground to ensure the most number of wins to qualify.

And RB sir, you also failed to perform in 2009 final match against Deccan chargers at Johannesburg. So on that day if you performed then we had IPL trophy in our bag. So close but we missed it. So sad and I never forget that.

I think the main problem for rcb has been tgeir bowling but their batting unit has also not fired as a whole from past fes years i mean everybody knows that they are known for buying big ticket batsman but that also they buy top order batsman and than left with some uncapped indian progidy at the backend to face some of the worlds top class bowler .this is also a huge problem for rcb whatever they invest they invest in their top order which when got out early the whole batting unit falls like a pack of card Like this year they have rajat patidar , virat,faf,maxi and green these 5 batsman are those who bat in top 5 out of which 3 are foreigners and they will play one overseas bowler then they dont have anyone along with dk to finish off eventually leading virat kohli to just anchor the innings till the 19 over I love the way how faf du plessis play he is a gifted player but its high time rcb rewamp their squad to bring maximum indian batters at the top order which is the most comfortable place for an uncapped player abd try to buy the overseas players for down spots . They should try to bring back paddikal at the top order aling with virat which might give them a left right combination and then dlot patidar at 3 which is best position for him to bat then lomror at 4 who is a left hander again and could be brutal against spinners

Padikkal is a big no no him virat together will play test match in middle overs ..... Back when padikkal used to open with Virat man it was a pain to watch them bat ..... RCB had slowest middle over run rate ... Then abd used to come and do abd stuff to lift the team .... Then faf maxi dk came and things improved in middle overs .... Virat and padikkal ... Uff can't watch ..... Both are middle over strollers .... Happy taking singles doubles ..... Modern T20 game this doesn't work .... Also RCB is missing a Shashank ... Ashutosh .... Rinku .... Kinda player who can bat with dk ..... Anuj rawat big flop .... Lomror small 20 run innings no substantial performance ..... So DK has to do bulk of the work .... Maxi would be the perfect partner for dk both going berserk at the end but he is in miserable form ..... So we know bowling and chinnaswamy anyhow huge runs will be scored but RCB whose strength is batting don't know how to maximise it they go In with a very conservative mindset ..... They go in and set 180 .... 200 run targets which is just not enough at chinnaswamy ..... They can bat like srh bat even batter but very timid mindset ..... Only dk is the one who is going bang bang ..... Virat is still stuck in running 1's and 2's .... This year he is showing some intent ..... But batting has to be the one wins 9 out of 10 matches for RCB ..... After Gayle and abd left that aggressive batting is missing ..... Maxi and faf along with dk need to rise to the occasion

First of all it’s because Robin we lost one ipl. He himself confessed in Ashwin interview that he was not interested to play for RCB that year and he didn’t give his 100%.

That’s so true how he said if you have insecurity then players will play for survival but if you have security they will play for performance. That’s why Virat is the only that has played consistently for RCB because he knows he’ll pretty much never get dropped.

Having faith is one thing and also creating a team atmosphere and identifying roles for players is important- anyone who is discarded by other teams becomes a rockstar when they play for CSK. Another example is SKY becoming a different payer once he moved to MI. RR have done a super job by retaining young talent like Jaiswal and Parag. Also the team that gets involved in auctions need to be changed in Punjab, RCB & DC. They lose the tournament on the auction table.

Even that will not change the outcome. Because the management of RCB only focuses to buy big - name, glamourous players so that their marketing and brand value increases. They doesn't care about a good team or upcoming good players, they just want to buy glamourous players. Due to this RCB matches get so much views and sponsorships. This is very profitable for RCB management.

He can take wickets in the middle overs and can bowl 1 over in the death as well. And he always competes for the purple cap. And RCB can never replace him with any other player.

Utthapa went on to win 2 IPLs with KKR and CSK. He was orange cap winner for KKR and played winning knock in Qualifier 1 for CSK. RCB hasn't won IPL yet. He may have had a bad dad that match but he went on to redeem himself whereas RCB is still at same place.
