For instance, 1961-62 sino Indian war, Russia chose to support china rather than us. Even recently, Russia was going to invade Ukraine on 15-16 feb, but they resisted cause China insisted that as beijing olympics is going on, the situation should be under control. As soon as it was over on 20 Feb, Russia invaded Ukraine on the very next day (Peacekeeping mission). Here I am not against Russia personally, but you should know that as much as Russia is faithful towards India, it's also the same towards china, more or less

Putin's constant attack on the neighbouring countries is the prime reason for this, they would not have joined Nato. Anyway it just give china the chance to attack on Ladakh and Taiwan, anyway Russian always supported China than India.

Do educate yourself and use common sense. This is not soviet era- so every country has their own “choice” to have their own sovereignty. The Russians cannot dictate their neighboring countries to do what they want- you can read about Belararus (Luka- a puppet of Russia). Ukraine was the country where democracy prevailed and they can choose to be a part of NATO to defend themselves. There is lot of explain, but better you read the history yourself. Nitish Rajput is just making these videos by copying others. He has no freaking clue about anything. Check his education. I dont mind when people earn their education and then try to analyze and research on them. He just compiles wikipedia or copies other youtube videos. These days anyone can put a video on youtube these days. Have you ever heard him criticizing the present govt?

To educate you- NATO accepts a functioning democratic political system; fair treatment of minority; a commitment to the peaceful resolution of conflicts; ability and willingness to make a military contribution to NATO operations; and a commitment to democratic civil-military relations and institutional structures.” Ukraine's bid was already in consideration for NATO (2008, Bucharest summit) and it could eventually become a part of NATO- but there were some shortcomings like "corruption (political) and not so established democracy primarily which had to be established, and partly due to unresolved conflicts (but that India and many other have). Lastly, NATO has made several exceptions in the past and you can see the latest developments in how NATO is contributing, directly and indirectly, to help Ukraine after the UN security council meeting.
