Theory: purple was a human who explored the facility but then when he saw a rainbow friend he hid in the vents and never left. but red heard him crying and added really old water that can turn anyone in to a rainbow friend of any colour, whilst he was moving in the vents he touched the water turning him into a monster. So I think the really old water is the water that is leaking which means red put a lot so if you touched it it would make a loud sound, causing purple to kill you PLS LIKE SO BIGB CAN SEE THIS

Theory: Purple was one of those shy kids, when he went to the bus with the other friends to go to "Odd world" the other kids were trying to pull out blues eye. One kid knew purple was pretty strong so he convinced purple to help them pull blues eye out, all the other kids heard foot steps coming and it was red, all the kids ran away. Purple did not hear him so he was caught on blue with his eye in his hand, soon red took him somewhere. Purple saw the door to the vents was open so he went in it, he thought he could escape but the door shut on him and red forgot about him. The water was really old and had mixed chemicals in it which made purple turn into "Purple".He seek'd revenge ever since, from now on purple pulls anyone who touches the water.

Purple used to be a failed attempt created by Red, to dispose of him: he was left abandoned in the vents to rot. Also the vents aren't known for containing high bodies of water, as if they were, they would be leaking since Night 1. So it might be that Night 3 had an overflow of water in the vent shafts. Purple has adapted to swimming and the common moist and damp areas of the vents when these events occurred, he also may rely on the players as a food source since a scarce amount of food in the vents. Purple was forgotten by Red and was isolated by fellow rainbow friends, which would explain why we don't see Purple on the wall, and why there is only one, purple balloon drought away from the others. I also have to deny the fish theory since if Purple were a fish, mainly Lophiiformes (anglerfish). They would feature fins, a more ovoid-like body structure, and range in colors from dark brown to dark grey. Which isn't Purple's color. Blue was one of the first friends, we know that he never had that button eye, since in the picture, he is seen with two, normal eyes. It may be due to Red's negligence, or maybe an accident with another rainbow friend, or a person. But it may also be caused by a balloon, since popping a balloon near Blue makes him crazy as seen in the final room. So that first kid in the picture, might've had a balloon accompanying him, and may have popped, resulting in Blue's eye falling off, and Blue going crazy and killing the child, causing Rainbow Friends Play Place to shutdown from violence. It even made Red give him a new eye, and paralyze him so he could calm down. As a result, Blue has become more hostile. He may also be seen with a crown which could represent Red liking him more, and viewing Blue as royalty. Green is blind, as Red might've liked Blue more, it is kind of obvious where i'm heading with this. Red's negligence got the better of him and forgot to give Green his eyes, so he decided to give Green some fake googly eyes as a substitute. Red probably forgot about the problem, and went back to his work, ignoring Green's blindness. As a result, Green ended up getting more hostile since the facilities enclosure, causing Green to attack any unfortunate attender that decides to bump into him unintentionally. Thinking they're a threat and killing them and saving them for food later. Orange is always on the move, hunting for fresh players and meat. First of all, Orange is probably inspired by a velociraptor, considering their similar jaw and body structure. It may be that Orange had an unnatural deformity that caused this appearance, since they were extinct thousands of years ago since the Jurassic period. But that's not the point, what about Orange's excessive eating? One theory suggests that Orange may be inspired by that of the 7 deadly sins, which orange is the main color for gluttony. But if that were it, would all the other rainbow friends be affiliated with their colored sin? So, how I think of it is that Orange had highly corrosive stomach acids. Which he wasn't satisfied with on one meal, and were to eat way more than they usually do. to Red's consent, he was careless and forgot to feed Orange or barely did at all. Over time, this caused him to get angrier and more hungry. Until one day, Red forgot to feed Orange another time, and he was furious. Orange decided to attack Red, as a result, furiously, he set up a food dispenser, and isolated him from the others for his and their safety by paralyzing him and departing him to the cave which Orange now calls home. Theory: Purple got rejected and Purple was wet because he was at the sewers from the 90's when it was closed and that is why there are wet stuff on the vents. Purple follows a player when they go to a nearby vent sometimes and also goes to the ventilations and sneaks out of the vent being stealthy sometimes, (which also tells why there are wet footprints near the vents) and in the 90's kids were making fun of purple because of what he looks like and now he got too angry so he was done with kids, he started his revenge in the first night of Chapter 1 and during the players field trip, Purple walks around because Red hasn't activated cameras during the players field trip Because Red was busy flipping the sign in night 1.

Theory: I think Red is evil because when working at the rainbow friends he was made fun of by the staff but then one day he got so mad and put something in the rainbow friends food to make them evil. Then one day the effects settled in and then started attacking everyone. Red still wanted more power and then he turned himself into a rainbow friend. Bonus theory: The serum had a different effect on the rainbow friends for Blue made his left eye blind so Red replaced it. For Green his eyes stop working. Orange he is always hungry. Lastly Purple went insane and ran away to the vents.

A quick summary of the trouble of Rainbow Friends: Blue's first friend was slayed by blue but The First Friends was Oswald's son so he made green blind because he didn't want green to see what was going to happen to blue, then blue faced the consequences. This was a very long period of time and no one fed hungry orange who had to eat every hour no matter what, because they forgot to feed orange, that hour turned into 2 minutes. Purple and orange were friends and the footprints were from orange, blue and green. Purple noticed what happened to the other rainbow friends and hid in the vents. Finally, purple realised that they couldn't get out of the vents and the water is tears and sweat from trying to get out. Orange realised what happened to purple and for one of the last times, ran past the vent to make Oswald be punished by becoming red. Whoever goes past the vent on the footprints now, purple then gets reminded of all this crazy stuff and misses the opportunity to catch you. I spent a while thinking of that, BigB so please like so he can see this, thanks!

I think purple may have come into existence after the play place closed down. Also maybe purple escaped mid transformation and ran to hide in the vents and is too afraid to leave. I also think it’s possible that instead of a fish, purple is more like an aquatic mammal or reptile.

Theory: the rainbow friends were created when a group of kids wandered into the warehouse. The were 3 kids, and they all were turned into a rainbow friend. Red and blue already existed, but the other three did not. Green, he was exposed to that toxic waste in sub level a. Orange was afraid and ran into his cave, but red found him and turned him into a monster. Purple hid in the vents but they all covered him and turned him into a monster. I did purple so now Theory On red: Red was a nice person until he got betrayed by a co.worker while making green. And red got pushed into the machine that creates the rainbow friends. Then red was confused and had a bit of memory loss. Resulting in him wanting help with other things as, finding food. Helping him with a machine.

my theory for red is: red wasn't always evil red was always nice happy and cheerful he wanted to make kids happy so he made the rainbow friends and hired 4 people to dress up in costumes like blue green orange and purple but when his friend Oswald the man who made O.D.D world built O.D.D world red started losing customers and didn't make enough money for the bills and to pay his employees so his employees quit their jobs that made red mad it changed him because of Oswald red turned evil and wanted to do something for money red is greedy so he found new employees he manipulated and lied to a blind man and turned the blind man into green that's how green is blind he can only use his sense of touch red found another person who loves to eat a lot of food so red promised the man a lot of food to eat and when red turned the man into orange red never fed orange or red would be lazy and asked blue to feed orange but blue isn't really reliable because blue tends to forget about feeding orange so that's why orange is always hungry and you need to feed orange or he'll eat you blue was a human looking for a job so he called O.D.D world but it wasn't Oswald from O.D.D world it was actually red on the phone he told him to take a right so the man turned right got into a car accident needed help so red found the man who got into the car accident and took him to his lab and turned him into BLUE

Theory about red/chapter 2:I think red started out as a human (as he is the only one who actually speaks) creating the rainbow friends, but something went wrong in the lab and they became evil. They began to see red as a target, so he disguised himself as one of them to avoid being killed. He devised a plan to undo his mistake and make them nice again, but he realized they are stronger than him and he needed help. He recruits us to help him, but knows we need to be smart in order to succeed. He puts us up against a new rainbow friend each night giving us only a small amount of information (green is blind, we figure out he can hear: orange is hungry so we need to keep him fed: the vents are leaking, keep an eye on the vents to stay safe) at the end, we see red say we are smarter than he thought, which could mean we are the ones he needs to help reverse the effects of the mistake he made in the lab. hi! I'm a new subscriber. I have a theory: Red was the very first friend, who used to be human, as I suspect, because Red was the one talking in the game. He was very interested in science and biology, which lead him to making a parasite that soon took over his body. But as Red was so engrossed in Science, his brain became one with the parasite's. He continued doing inhumane experiments, which led him to creating the Rainbow Friends. And when Purple was created, there was a possibility that Purple could have been created with astraphobia, which means he's afraid or sensitive to light. He prefers dark and quiet places like vents, so, as having astraphobia, Purple might have just adapted to staying in the vents. As he was astraphobic, he has never once tried to leave the vents and soon after, was left out by all the other Rainbow Friends. Purple has also seen how mad Red was while doing experiments, and was afraid of being experimented on himself. He hid away in the shadows of the vents, but only reaches his rubbery hands out to eat us players. This is just my theory, and I have no proof that it's true.

Sorry im late Theory: Purple used to be a part of the Rainbow Friends. Rainbow Friends was so popular, so many kids came to Rainbow Friends. But, there's this one time Red asked Purple to get the cake outside to the table. But then purple accidently hit the box with the cake inside and it fell to the sewer. Red heard the sound and was really angry. All the kids ran away and Red also fired Purple and removed Purple from the Rainbow Friends. Purple tried to get back in but Red doesn't let him go back in. After a few years Purple had an idea to go in the sewer and go to the vent. Since purple had to swim in the water. The water leaked out of the vent because the water has nowhere to go. Red tried to make a potion to make the Rainbow Friends happier. But instead all Rainbow Friends just became evil just because of 1 wrong chemical. Red saw water leaking out of the vent. Red was confused why the water started leaking. Purple has been a forgotten entity that day. Red didn't know purple was in there.

Theory: Purple either lives in the vents or like orange is always hungry, orange might have been the reason green is blind, and blue is missing an eye. And purple went into the vents knowing he was next or purple was just a regular rainbow friend and wanted to be a secret and hid in the vents so he got a meal easily or to just be a huge secret to players or people

Theory: Purple has been thrown out by red, and hes been planning in the sewers for years. So finally purple decided to pull the plug because of the ruckus, he catches the players trying to kill red. Maybe he will turn out to be good, trying to kill red.

theory: Purple was one of the newer rainbow friends and hid all the time, Green then found him and showed him off to the kids. The kids crowded purple because they have never seen him, but these kids were ruthless and torchered purple, As they did that purple tried to escape but couldnt, then one of the kids hit purple a little to hard, Purple then got scared and ran off the kids followed him but purple was able to get into a vent, then took one of the kids under and killed them. Thats my theory, Hope it makes sence (this wasn't on red but pls see it)

When PURPLE was a human kid, and in school, every kid thought his face was ugliest face in the school. One day, he hid in the class vent to hide his face. And then he fell asleep in the vent, and then RED came and turned him into PURPLE. And he didn't know he was PURPLE. So he hid in the vents to hide his face.

Purple was the first rainbow friend, but during an incident involving lab chemicals and a button eye, purple split into blue and red. Red made more rainbow friends with the remaining DNA of purple, but purple was an important part of river ride through hemlock woods. So, During the river rides, Red pretended to be purple as a fish, with big teeth. The only prop he had was long arms which could grab objects. When the vents leak it isn’t red’s fault, so he goes to check it out. To cover up, He pretended to be purple and ate anybody who stood on the wet bit because they might be the thing that caused the vent leak. Meanwhile, In the finale, red opens the door with purple hands from the water then when somebody falls in the water, Eats them incase they escape knowing red’s secret. Red brings them to the dark, then eats them. The plank that we walked across in the vent had water under it, so when blue returned red trapped him then did something and went back out of the water. Pls like so this gets noticed. 20 Likes for purple.

Theory: I actually noticed something about purple in rainbow friends. So you know how red says all the monsters names in rainbow friends? Like “hopefully blue didn’t get too many of you” “I think green knows your in there” or “somebody forgot to feed orange” red doesn’t say anything about purple which is kinda suspicious.. he only says “why did the vents start leaking?”

I think purple was an early rainbow friend but something went wrong because purple was struggling to get out and the machine malfunctioned and purple turned out to look different to what red (Before he was a rainbow friend) had planned and he said purple would be a terrible rainbow friend and he was too disturbing for the guests so he threw purple in the vents. From then on purple was plotting his revenge on red so when red was planning a new friend in his lab purple broke out of the vents and grabbed red then stuffed red in the machine and turned him into what we now know as the red rainbow friend.

Another theory:You might notice when in night five where some of the balloons were in the ceiling,the balloons that were together were coloured and the colours resembled blue,green,orange,pink and yellow which are the rainbow friends colours but there's one more purple! And purple was the lone/forgotten rainbow friend.

Purple is in the vents because when he was outside of the vents, none of the kids really liked him. After Red and the other workers saw this, they felt bad. The workers wanted to keep him as a rainbow friend for a little longer and then let him go but Red stabbed them in the backs and forced purple in the vents so that no one can see him again.😢🌈💜

Theory: Maybe Purple is some kind of alien themed character. I believe this because if an alien was in the real world, It would try to hide from humans, to not get hunted. And purple stays in the vents. I believe if its an alien, it would be a water type character. Maybe Purple was scrapped, and hid from Red and escaped to the vents, to not get scrapped. Theory: The reason why purple is in the vents is because from his flashback he was bullied in school and got bad grades so purple found the rainbow friends play place and he was expiremented on. He was afraid of what he had become and his into the vents. Purple doesn’t want to be found. Blue was the only rainbow friend that came up to purple and lost an eye. Purple is and will remain to this day the most dangerous rainbow friend

Theory: Maybe people were also on a field trip and they wanted to escape and maybe in the end purple fell into the vents filled with liquid that can soon turn people to rainbow friends. Theory: All the rainbow friends didn't mind that they were turned in to monster ( i guess they kinda got over it after a while) but purple saw himself as a monster and was ashamed of himself and hid in the vents. but all the other rainbow friends teased him about it so then he started to catch people through the vents

I have 2 theories in one BigB. Purple was once out of the vents. When purple was created there were difficulties that made purple autistic[things are harder for them than a regular human]and when kids were showing up purple got overwhelmed and went coo coo crazy. Then scratched out blues eye. Red replaced blue's eye with a button because it was the only thing he could find and purple ran into the vents to hide from punishments but was found in a matter of weeks and for the punishment, purple got locked in the vents and never got let out. plz like so BigB can see.

Theory: Maybe red was a scientist who liked making experiments that involved explosions and unexpected results, and maybe 4 friends were in the building when the scientist made an experiments that somewhat failed as well as making the friends into scary monsters. Theory on green: Green was the second friend that was harmed by the explosion, and green was born blind and he just followed his friends voices ( also holding their hands ) and when the explosion happened, he got really long arms since he liked water but used a pool noddle since he didn’t know how to swim. Theory on blue: Technically, same as green but a bit different. Blue was the first of the friends that was harmed. And blue loved playing tag but he always sweat and drooled in his sleep. Purple: So, Red went crazy one night because he got no sleep one night and he started to attack the friends making blue lose an eye. Purple was scared that would happen to her to, as a result she hid in the vents and grabs us because she thinks it’s red and wants revenge on red but little did she know that wasn’t red… Orange theory: Orange never got enough to eat as a human, and he ate almost a whole fridge in one day. Purple. & Orange: They were dating so they got close together when they saw an explosion happen so they came out on the same night. Please like so BigB will read!

Alright, I got an idea! Why is Red a rainbow friend? Well, maybe Red was a human, and his head is a mask. But, we don’t know. Red can help the player, like some of the helper Piggy characters. Red has wonky eyes, like Green, so what if Red was created by Green, with his glasses, constructing Red. Red became the leader of the Rainbow Friends because of the color red being first. He didn’t want Yellow added, so he hid Yellow in a box. So basically, Red is a friend or foe.

I think purple was a kid and when he was in school he had to go here. He went wondering around the place and red caught him so he took purple to his label Tory and made him into what he is know. But when he was a kid he liked swimming so he went into the vents to have fun swimming. And the one time when he was peeking out of the vents he saw blue eat someone so he wanted to do it to. And I think the footprints in front of the vents was purples footprints when he was a kid while wondering around the factory

I’ve got a prediction for purple I think that red was trying to make like yellow or something but made purple instead and tryed to kill his mistake so purple ran in the vents.. and red asking why did the vents start leaking was the first time red see him come into action

I feel like red was origanally a normal rainbow friend, and would perform with the other ones (When Blue didn't have a button eye, and green was not blind) Red tried to be a good rainbow friend, but that never worked out for him. The other rainbow friends (But purple) started making fun of him behind the stage, and that drove Red mad. Purple tried to calm him down, but was thrown into the vents as a punisment. He started taking his problems out on Blue and Green, tearing Blues eye out and blinding green, but was forced into hiding because the other rainbow friends wanted him dead.

Red and Blue’s first friend have the same body shape 2. Red acts like a human, the boy is a human (It is not confirmed if the rainbow friends are alive experiments or people turned into them) 3. Oswald D Davis shows no resemblance to Red whatsoever 4. Just in case you do this: I think orange is fast because before he was a Rainbow Friend, he worked out at a gym. Maybe he went to odd world for the holidays, but Red spun the arrow the wrong way, (just like the game) and he found a hiding spot from red. He hid in the hideout for days and became hungry, but one day, Red found him and turned him into a rainbow friend. Maybe that’s how orange is fast. He went to a gym but because he is always hungry, he runs around fast mad for food.

I saw this happens in rainbow freinds movie So when red was chasing purple when it was human purple gets into the vents to hide from red after that red findes him in the vents and Turns him into purple inside of the vent. So purple started bidding in vent. Love your vids 😊

My theory is that purple was a human who had extreme anxiety since they were born and that anxiety carried over to their rainbow friend life and their only comfort zone were the vents where they spent the day but would leave at night once all the other rainbow friends had gone to sleep.

Theory: I think Purple is hiding on the vents it’s because he was hiding from red as a human but he found a way into the vents then transformed him with a machine of some sort so that’s why he has long arms and a stretched body.Also his face is mostly round because maybe from a error from the transformation of Purple.

Theory: I think red was once human, but was captured and experimented on and turned into a rainbow friend. Then, once he grew older, he started going insane and collected some of his childhood belongings until his new friends were created (Blue, Green, Orange, and Purple). Blue came from one of red's childhood toys that had a replacement button eye, Green came from one of red's clay models from art class in school, Orange came from a block of cheese that was very small, and Purple came from a deflated tire painted purple. After they were made, his insanity decreased. Red thought that he needed more company after Purple went into the vent because of toxic chemicals harming it. Shortly after Odd World was built, Red started luring school buses to the place we arrive at in game so he can have some company. That is my theory. Aw that so cute I mean like who does not want some company and also i think meby red actually make so many night cause he want company but does not let them go so he let his monster to kill them so he can take the body and make more rainbow friends and have a new friends!

I think that purple is in the vents because he was a troubled teen who broke into the the abandoned facillty with his friends they were all devoured by the rainbow friends, but he survived in the vents however, green reached in and dragged him out. But before killing him, red appeared and saved him, only to change him into a rainbow friend. He is still terrified of the others and wants to find some way to escape. He adapting to living underwater and the water we see is him splashing around. The footprints could be his ghost. That last part was far fetched, but the footprints could be implicating that us as the player could be the real monsters here.

Who was rejected by the other rainbow friends and so stayed in the vents but then fell into a bunch of chemical substances in the vents and began to mutate being able to control all of the vents that’s covered in purple substance that makes it so arms can grow anywhere in the vents and he waits parting his revenge against the rainbow friends and the reason he stays in the vents is because he’s waiting for the perfect time to strike against the rainbow friends

Theory: I think Red is evil because when working at the rainbow friends he was made fun of by the staff but then one day he got so mad and put something in the rainbow friends food to make them evil. Then one day the effects settled in and then started attacking everyone. Red still wanted more power and then he turned himself into a rainbow friend. Bonus theory: The serum had a different effect on the rainbow friends for Blue made his left eye blind so Red replaced it. For Green his eyes stop working. Orange he is always hungry. Here is my theory (quite weird imo) Purple was a human and was shy almost his whole life. He would hide from people and was bad at socializing. He also liked swimming and took swimming lessons so he was used to getting wet. When he was a teen, he broke into the abandoned rainbow friends play place by himself. He got chased by blue, got cornered by green, and orange knocked him out. Red took him to his lab. When purple woke up, he was confused and scared. Then red turned him into a rainbow friend. Then purple started hiding in the vents, because he was shy and he didn’t like how he looked. He also like being in wet places. He also got brainwashed when turned into a rainbow friend and he started to like tight spaces, just like a cat.

Theory; I think that when Red was a human he was mad that the Rainbow friends Play place (his compony) was bankrupted and the workers had all quitted. So Red became evil and tricked different people into the Rainbow Friends Play place so he could turn them into the rainbow friends and so they could never leave him like the other workers did.His compony when back and business and he was over joyed, but the rainbow friends weren't happy at all. So they came into his office and told Red to turn them back. But when Red said that they are rainbow friends for ever, they turned him into Red. When red was a human he went to school and loved science but also loved building stuff one day he built his own factory with some friends the friends hated working there so red got MAD he used the machine in the hallway to do experiments that’s how the rainbow friends where made but one day he was making a new potion for a new friend he knocked it over and it spilt all over him the chemicals got in his DNA and now he is what he is! My theorie on red is... Red was once a human that wanted to become a scientist, but no one believed in him. So he got very mad, so he decided to get revenge 😈. So one day he took four people that did not believe in him, then he did weird things to them. Which soon made them into the rainbow friends. But then soon the rainbow friends hade enough, so then they turn red into a rainbow friend. Which soon, They felt sad. Then they heard that kids where going on a field trip to odd world, so then red did some crazy stuff and lured the kids in. Then that's where the rainbow friends attacked!

My theory for red is that he may have been a scientist who tried to bring the Rainbow Friends from the cartoon to life, as living mascots. And Red was so obsessed with his work that he turned himself into one.

What I think about purple: I don’t think he’s a failed rainbow friend, I think he just retreated to the vents after the play place became abandoned. I also don’t think purple is tall with long arms, I think he’s small and frog-like, maybe he’s quad or something. I also think he has a prehensile paddle-like tail to help him swing in the pipes or swim in the water, I also think he has webbed feet.

BigB I've got 2 theory . Theory #1: Purple's in the vents because in the origin story (none of the sad ones) he pulled Red (when Red wasn't a rainbow friend), while Red was trying to escape from the rainbow friends, because he was going to be turned into one because the other rainbow friends (except Purple) wanted to turn him into a rainbow friend (Red), so he almost escaped but purple caught him while being in the vent's Theory #2 Purple was maybe made to be in the vent's because he got a skinny body while in the experiment.

When red blinded green (I said my theory of green on the video) some tools broke. Then when he made purple he only had enough for half of purple so then they threw purple in the vents but forgot to unlock it.

Theory: Purples in the vents because purple got attacked by a human and wanted to get revenge. So purple hides in the vents and drags humans in the vents to get revenge.

Hi, my name is Matias, I personally think this is a good one ; In the end of the game, you see red has 2 extremely large eyes on weird parts of the head, my theory on how red is so evil is that red was born like that and when he tried to make friends, people just teased him about his eyes, so Red kidnapped his old “friends” and turned them into the rainbow “friends” and took away some of their features: Blue’s eye, Green’s sight, Orange’s ability to stay full, etc, just like red’s friends were taken from him. Red continues to kidnap children so they can suffer just like he did when he was a child. Purple was one of those children, but purple (as a human) loved to swim, and when you become a rainbow friend, your greatest ability becomes stronger. So purple was built for swimming, but Red saw no advantage in that for kidnapping people, so red threw him in the vents. Purple has been trying to get revenge on Red by stealing Red’s kills, and the footsteps, are the footsteps of purple’s human running from red when he was trying to turn purple into a Rainbow friend.

I have another theory for Purple: Maybe, Purple was a kid going on a feild trip the same as the players, and was killed and turned into a Rainbow Friend. A flaw in the programming made Purple keep his memorys of his past human life, and that's why she's scared of the other Rainbow Friends, so she hid in the vents, which contected to the sewers. So the water comes from the sewer water he swims in to get around, and the footprints come from his ghoust. The ghoust of Purple made the footprints to guide the players, and only drags them into the vents if they touch the water because she knew the others would hear it, and come for them. So REALLY she's trying to protect us, but ends up killing us because of her proggraming.

Theory: Purple went to the rainbow friends show as a kid. He loved it so much. When he grew, he became bored. So he and his friends ventured out into the woods nearby and came across the place where the players come across in Rainbow Friends Chapter 1. They explored and realised that there was them in there. His friends got scared and ditched him while he went to the bathroom. He was alone. And scared. And anxious. He then thought that messing with the equipment would be a good thing. He turned his self into purple and was then happy because he could hurt his friends since they ditched him. The next day, he tried out for the rainbow friends show, but failed for his spot. He then cried in the vents ( that’s why there’s water ) and cried, and cried, so on, etc. Green found him ( he wasn’t blind at the time ) and was confused. He didn’t know there was another rainbow friend. Blue came and was like “ huhhh? “ and green accidentally wacked blue in the eye instead of wacking purple( that’s why he lost an eye ) and said “ oops “ orange then came and had a fight with green. Orange was really hungry and wanted to eat green. Red saw this and released a poisonous,cursed chemical, which locked purple into the vents and turned him evil and an alien, also turning green blind, starving orange ( that’s why he is so small ) ,and doing nothing to blue. Since he felt bad about blue, he didn’t affect him as he already had lost an eye. Black ( if you haven’t watched the rainbow friends movie, black is red’s dad ) got mad, therefore he threw away all the drawings that red had drawn ( by the way red wasnt red at the time he was a kid ) so he got upset. Since he already had 4 rainbow friends, he got blue, green and orange to take him down ( not purple, he was in the vents, locked, still crying ) and turned red’s dad into black. He thought he could restart the show again, but it went wrong… The kids laughed at them and made fun of them, leaving them miserable ( that’s why in chapter 1 red traps you ). The police tried to kill them but purple grabbed their feet and killed them. They all became friends but didn’t give up their dream to have a world of their own with only killers. Ever since, they created a theme park called odd world to trap people. With two new rainbow friends ( yellow and cyan in chapter 2 ) they create an even bigger atmosphere for chapter 3. Ok ok so this theory is about purple so I think that purple hits in the vents because when red created pink purple and pink were best friends and pink betrayed purple and red agree with pink, and then pink said to go in the vents and red agreed with pink and purple went in the vents. Theory on purple: I believe purple (when they were human) wanted to get a new job to earn pocket money at the rainbow friends Funtime place. They were hired by red and started working as a purple mascot. Soon the other workers started to disappear. Purple was concerned by this and wanted to find out what was happening. On their break, they peered into a lab and saw red turning a worker into a live size green mascot. Scared, they ran into the vent and hid. Little did they know, red planned this all along and soon turned him into the purple mascot. Since every rainbow friend had a weakness/ specialty - green is blind, blue can’t see you in a box and orange comes out every few minutes - purple’s one was only being able to survive in water. I think red is Trenton since of course, he would have to follow the rules of Oswald. So I think he might have sabatoged blue's first friend birthday by purposely not feeding blue.I also think that red just wearing a mask.

I think Purple might be an early prototype that wasn't good enough so Red put him in the vents so he can forget about him and never see him or it again.

To be honest, I think that purple was a stray cat or dog. Red found him and decided to bring him home. When Red was experimenting with Blue, Green and Orange, the stray cat/dog accidentally drank the formula to make live animals a purple rainbow friend, what explain his purple color. Red actually wanted to use that formula on another human, but since Purple drank it all, there was no more formula for another rainbow friend. After seeing himself on the mirror that was on the floor, scared, Purple quickly ran in the vents so he couldn't be seen by his owner. When Red got into his laboratory, the purple formula was on the floor and empty. Red saw the bright eyes coming from the vent (that explain it was an animal that could see in the dark) and those purple hands. Red tried to "captured" Purple so he could be part of the rainbow friends but Purple ran to another vent. So that why his always staying in the vents, so Red could never get him. My theory is that the rainbow friends were cartoon characters that were brought to life by red. But kids that came to odd world were mean to the rainbow friends, causing them to attack the kids and anyone they saw. After red heard about the terrible incident, He told purple to hide in the vents to avoid any more chaos. (Purple got created the day of the incident.) The abandoned ride was going to be an expansion of odd world. Red never told purple why he had to hide, this caused purple to get upset, now he drags anyone that gets near the vents and eats them for his survival. Red closed the river ride so no one would get killed by the rainbow friends again. Customers eventually forgot about the incident with the rainbow friends and kept going to odd world like nothing happened.

Red is doing this because he was a poor man with a poor family, but one day he started to create the rainbow 🌈 friends, so he hired people to go in suits to be mascots. Blue,orange and green. Red 🔴 figured out about odd world. More family's went to odd world. Then he had no money to pay the bills. But hurting someone's feelings can change their life...and that happened to red. So he hired people out on masks to them..and...well, turned them into rainbow 🌈friends. Hope you see this BigB!😍😍❤❤

Theory: purple wasn’t human they where a goldfish but the water in the sewer was liquid from when the liquid spilled when the forgotten rainbow friend trashed the transformation machine (where the rainbow friends where made) some of the liquid spilled into the vents when a gold fish got flushed down there toilet for some reason maybe it was reds pet the goldfish got mutated that explains why he only stay for a few seconds because gold fishes forget what they learnt in 30 seconds so he goes away forgetting about the player and the reason why red doesn’t say purples their because he never created purple from the machine.

My guess is that purple got scared somehow and he was driven in the vents and once he wanted to come out he realized there was no way out of the vents

Red didn't want to experiment everyone but when he turned to a rainbow friend he got evil

My theory on red is that he was normal business man who made the rainbow friends than one day wanted to make them living and dropped the chemical which he dropped it on blues eye he dropped it next to green causing him to breath it in which made him blind orange saw it and drank it making him greedy purple didn't want that so he hid in the vent but it also made red a rainbow friend and evil

Theory:When red was young in school he was bullied alot and the bullies never stopped after 4th grade Red never forgot what they did to him and always wanted revenge.And then once when he was 21 He couldn't stand it anymore he needed revenge so he created the rainbow friends.He made it look like a fun place to lore the kids in If only they knew what was there After all those years be finally got revenge only 1 year has passed and he wanted to become a rainbow friend himself so he designed a head for red and turned himself into a Rainbow Friend. Like this so BigB can see it :D

And he wants to be alone. But why does he pull u in? Maybe even tho he's an introvert, he chose to cope by hugging u, but theres some weird infection making him eat u while hugging u, much like poppy playtime huggy wuggy.

Theory:Purple used to be a nice teenage girl that hated the way that she looked, She wandered into Reds facility and Red found her, he turned her into a rainbow friend and that was just one more reason to hate herself, so she went to hide in the vents so no one could see her, she was hungry in the vents though, so she stole the children and ate them, the leak is her drool as she’s watching and waiting to pull you into the darkness.

A theory for red: I think red was once a human bean - i mean being. As he grew older, his parents got more and more strict about getting a job. And he finally got one, at the rainbow freinds, like place thing. So, he was taught by the other employees on how to make a rainbow freind, how to get kids to come there, everything. The first one he made was probably orange (because orange comes after red, which may be the scientists fav colour) and he also invented the Feeding machine in orange's hideout. Soon, he asked the other employees, what is it like to be a rainbow freind? They said, "don't worry, it's just like a perfectly normal life." Although, what he didn't know, they were lying, and the curiosity got the better of him, and he unfortunately met the fate that he would be a rainbow freind for the rest of his life.

Purple became traumitized and paranoid, thinking something would happen to him next. This paranoia drove him into hiding. Thinking he could escape through the vents, he hid in them, attempting to run, until he realized that there was no exit…maybe that’s why

He may be scared cause the fire at him apartment and in the vents he may think he has an easy escape
