Since it is a German name, it would be pronounced "Ep-schtine" with the pronunciation of 'tine' as in the points of a fork or a comb, but he probably used the typical American pronunciation Ep-Steen. Eppstein is a small town in Germany; somewhere over time his family probably dropped the double 'p' for a single 'p' if they came from there; 'Stein' (stone) is pronounced 'Schtine' in German.

@@desertari My point is that Andrew was uniquely taught about the challenges to most humans on the planet, and would know how great his life would be, even though he would not likely be King. Just my own opinion - but the sorrowful tone by the creators of the narrative seems tone deaf. I feel sorry for those impoverished at birth or had families murdered by totalitarian regimes; I don’t feel sorry for a man born to vast wealth and comfort and ability to help people but that will not become the King. In other words, the luck of the draw for Andrew was still better than 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of all humans for all time.

I didn't notice a sorrowful tone, rather Andrew is condemned as a "child molester" repeatedly. Of course he was widely travelled and had seen how the vast majority live but he was just a guy, in the end. My mother had my sister while my dad served in WW2. He didn't get to see her until she was 14 months old, and my mother waited for him faithfully, and she was only 18 when they were married. People today don't know how to wait for anything, they have to have instant gratification.

Except for the birthright of Prince, and ‘Duke of York,’ Andrew HAS been stripped of his titles/styles. As i understand it, the citizens of York have a petition going to remove that title, and only an Act of Parliament, signed by either his brother or the Prince of Wales, can negate the birthright of Prince.

I think the only reason the royals care at all is because it’s international and won’t go away. Plus it’s horrible and a huge crime where any other person would be in prison.

I hate to tell you this, but we have enormous corruption in the US. We also have big companies in bed with our politicians, so the old idea of American virtue is long gone. Sadly. There are plenty of politicians who were friends with Epstein. Their knowledge of Epstein's interactions with underage girls is unknown. I am sure more allegations will come out. Then we will see.

We have growing corruption in the US. All it takes is for big companies, politicians, and government agencies to discover they can get together and manipulate the laws to make money. Once you get this happening on a large scale, it's difficult to stop. It takes lots of money to mount a political campaign. Only wealthy people (or people who have wealthy donors) will get elected. This system leads to corruption over time. So that's where we are in the US.

My dad told me, tell me who your friends are and I tell you who you are. I did not believe this when I was like 15 or 16 years old. I'd seen the photo before, of Andrew peering through the crack of a door and waving goodbye to someone. This video shows a couple of seconds earlier, when a young girl comes out and heads for a car, then another girl exits, followed by Andrew waving goodbye. That slightly longer clip really paints a questionable picture.
