Been using 7 pro since October last year. My battery consumption started bad (sot of around 4-5 hours) but now my screen on battery drain is consistently under 10%/hour. Easily getting 8+ hours SOT. That being said, SOT in battery settings is wrong. I've seen it drop for 6 hours to 3 after continuously using the phone. It's easy 1 day now anyway. Also, don't think fast charging depends on cable. I've used it with bunch of cables (box cable, MacBook cable, OnePlus cable). Only some cheap cable might not be capable of 20 watts. Used to be an issue with my old OnePlus too. But most decent cable works.

It was really good video! And it was really great to see that Google is doing right thing to promote Pixel phones. As a fanboy of Google, I really like the move. PS. I'm using Google Pixel 6A from past 4 months.

The main job of a phone is to make calls. And network issue of all Google phones has been the dark secret. They are fundamentally lacking in something, it's not just a question of one or two phone models. I struggled with it since my Nexus days, and although I wish to, I'm never buying another Google phone until they fix this issue.

There was a time during the first and second gen Pixel when people used to covet the phone and used to get it from abroad through friends, relatives etc. It seems to have lost that premium image now.

Indeed very detailed video. I agree to most of your points, but I am using Pixel 7 for past 3 months now and trust me bro, I haven't got any heating issue even in charging also. I do play BGMI in HDR but still phone dosent get hot; it do gets warm, as every other phone. Being a photographer, I use its camera intensively, battery drain is seen on some level and phone do gets warm, but cant agree with your heater point. Also, I easily get around 1 day 10 hrs of battery with a full charge in a moderate use. Service center issue is fr, am scared that if phone gets some issue, how n where can I get service from

I am using Pixel 3a XL since 2019. Perfectly fine and fantastic camera till now. Only the storage issue is there as it was available only in 64 GB variant which is insufficient now.

No other Android even comes close to Pixel. The tight integration between Hardware, Software, Processor and Services is an impressive feat to achieve. And this has only been done by Apple and Google Pixel. This is the reason a 6 year old iPhone or Pixel feels as Snappy as New, Unlike other Flagships which feels quite laggy after some years (Yes Even the S series, Ultra, etc etc). So when it comes to Smartphones, you can trust NO OTHER brand except Apple iphones and Google Pixels.

The hardware & software in nowhere as good as you claim there current processor are weaker that completion( struggling to keep up with 2 year snapdragon Flagship)& heating is a major issue you can't use for phone for long if it heat up during its usage,no 6 year old devices don't work as new maybe a battery replaced iPhone might. But a 6 year old device battery degrades so either that phone will work smooth or have battery that last more than 2 hour.

@@g1y3 Bro I literally use the Pixel 2 (6 year old) and iPhone 5s (11 year old) phones.... And neither of them have any lag.... It's just that they don't support the latest version of most apps( Obviously) but apart from that both of them feel snappy.

I am enjoying Basic features on Redmi Note 5 pro with Pixel Experience Rom....Phone Usability has increased upto 70% compared to MIUI

pixel probably has the best camera for smartphones. dxomark, mkbhd everyone says this. and picel 8 pro is way ahead of s24 ultra in camera according to dxomark and even blind tests of mkbhd.

Dxomark rates iPhone higher regardless , the blind test mostly comes down to color & videography of pixel isn't great, you say it has better camera but that's nor miles ahead of S24 or not even that versatile

I am actually first mover and took pixel 6a when it came out over nothing or OnePlus and believe me this was the best Android experience I ever had the software and camera in this phone is the beeesssttttr..

In US, google also gives amazing discounts on Pixel phones.. like almost 20-30% off on black friday.

I am using pixel 8 right now. Yes i agree what he said. Every point is right. As per my daily usage pixel is a great phone. In terms of camera its a beast phone. Even in video department i personly like pixel 8s video and photo quality. But theirs are some issues that exists like heating, network. For me heating and network issue is real. And sometimes little concerned about battery performance. Rest the overall experience of the phone is very good for me. If Google fix this issues the phone will sell like 📈 for sure.

people sayinh pixels heat are just ignorant havinh nevwr used pixel. sure it gets warmer when u heavy task but thats all. isheeps need to grow up. it won the blind test award 4 years in a row on mkbhd platform. and this year all three top ones were pixels. amazing user experience. this is the smartest smart phone in the world and i love it. period. i never faced any heating coz i dony play heavy games at all. and also it has great battery life compared to its size.

Google also marketed Pixel phones in Australian open, NBA and also officially sponsoring Liverpool and Arsenal FC.

I'm using pixel 7 from 2 months now. I have not seen any network issue till now. I'm also living in rural area. But but.. heating issue is there. Phone heats in normal operations, outdoor roaming.

I bought pixel 7a at sale in just 37k and man its good but the major drawback is idle battery drain.Phone just wastes half its battery in idle drain except for it phone has a beast camera and enough power for daily use.

Tbh it is less of any strategy by Google and more of Pixel 8 vs P7 is a decent phone. P7 had many hardware issues so people were avoiding it. I am still avoiding P8 due to same. Most of the people buying pixels are tech enthusiasts. It might change in future.

Google needs to do many things in Google pixel 10 series and other upcoming series too: 1-Make different chipsets for budget, normal and pro models(there should be performance difference) it should be minimum 33-75 percent power difference between each models. Chipsets should focus on better high sustained performance. 2-Charging difference too(33 watt for A, 45 watt for non pro and 65 watt for pro) 3- screen(A is not necessary to have ltps or ltpo screen but non pro model atleast should have ltps 2.0 for better battery life) 4-better vapour cooling chamber Graphite sheet maybe live in A series but not in non pro and pro model. For better sustainable and battery life. 5-Using TSMC 4nm process which has better sustained and cool performance because we don't need to much power but we need AI features and best camera features which we can use 30-50 minutes easily without major battery depletion. 6-Price for India starting prices 35-40k for A series 55-65k for non pro model 75-85k for pro model And please bring UFS 4.0 with 256 gb and please bring 1 tb variant to all these models, and pro model should have a 2 tb model

They also provide a smooth and seamless experience overall. They can also handle higher OS versions with ease. Also, buying a powerful flagship helps in future proofing in a case where maybe games get more optimised so we can play them at better resolution with better fps. This is because flagship processors can definitely push more than just medium 120fps because I get constant 120fps and it even shows 121-22 fps sometimes. This shows that they can handle much more. Also, you can either use flagship phones for 4-6 years or buy budget phones and keep changing them in 1-2 years. I personally like to go with the first option. AI features are also coming up which can require serious amounts of computing. This is another example of future proofing. Camera recording at 4k 60 fps or higher also requires higher performance. Obviously budget processors are way better value for price but we shouldn't see that there is only 2 times difference in fps. For eg if. car goes 200kmh but another goes 400kmh, it does not necessarily mean the latter should cost only 2 times more than the former. You have to pay even 2 times more for only 10-20 percent upgrade in smartphones because they require more innovation. Like you said that your budget phone could play low 60fps, it can play rn but it won't last more than 2-3 years with the same performance as games are getting heavier and heavier. But, a flagship may even give the same performance in the nest 6-7 years. SO YES THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A POWERFUL FLAGSHIP AND A BUDGET PHONE PROCESSOR.

I switched to pixel and this is the best decision of my life. Pixels are amazing. The AI stuff on my Pixel 8 is just amazing. My office colleagues who have their iphones always asks me to take picture from my phone. Pixels Camera is best. Iphone records better videos. The Night Sight feature is so amazing. I just love my Pixel. Not sure why people are complianing about heating issues. Earlier pixels had the heating issues i agree but pixel 8 series doesn't heat its similar to Iphones. Feature like call assist, circle to search, magic eraser, Live translation. There are so many things to love about. Of Course no smartphone is perfect. Only downside of the pixels are their customer support. it takes literally 1 hour to connect with them if you face any issues.

The biggest issue in pixel devices is the lack of service centres and secondly that the tensor chips inside them are really bad , if they increase their service centres and put snapdragon processors inside them then they will really dominate in the mid range market

TBH Pixel phones are really tempting. Only thing I am not switching is the poor performance when compared to iPhones and high end Samsung phones.

from a Redmi Note 8 in 2020 to Pixel 6a in 2023... i have just joined college and yep pixel is exactly what a phone must me. Clean UI.. superb performance... amazing design.. best in class camera... software is just pure love.. 5 years of updates(new ones have 7 years)... and yes very very durable... as long as you aren't a hardcore gamer... this phone is great. . there are a few problems.. > battery isnt great.. i leave at 6.50am with 80% and by 3pm its like 25-30%.... now its decent considering the processor and my useage.. but yea a bigger battery could be better > slow charging... 18w is very slow in 2024 > not all features come to India.. true 🥲 > yep it does heat.. but nah not like the way its shown on YT

You are telling the right things as we need to think everytime before purchasing any product (like Mobile off-course) as a consumer, I will share my personal thoughts on it.. I am using Pixel 6A for 1 year now... I do not have found any major issues except 1. Low Display Brightness while Outside in the Sunlight, 2. Battery Life (need to charge 2nd time when using it like whole day), 3. On screen Fingerprint Sensor doesn't work accordingly, 4. I am not a gaming pro max guy so I do feel the heat sometime when "Screening time + Heavy processing time" both are quite in the higher side, but it is managable... One thing I want to mention here that nowadays data security is the topic where I am more concern out of anything else.. and after start using the Pixel you can easily notice the differences... all though I know that "Data Protection is a myth" but still it protects more than any other androids devices... And beeing a middle class (I have purchased it under EMI scheme + several other offers) person I think that time I brought the right product in all aspects...

I have pixel 6a its perfect for me except battery life i want pixel with 5000mah battery with 65w charger means it will be perfect

Samsung will comeup with 7 year of updates for mid rangers next year and A series will be bang on for that they can easily beat Google's 6A 7A easily in some areas .. i still believe that having average camera doesn't bother max people but having average battery and more heating issue will bother most users. I had plans for pixel but went for Samsung S series because of low battery capacity and throttling

7 years of update is just a gimmick.. it's not necessary.. the processor itself will be so old to be capable to handle 7 more generations of android

Some people's are writing about heating issues in pixel without even using any pixel device personally I don't know about old pixel device I can't judge because i haven't used any old pixel device but yeh i am using pixel 7 pro after switching form my buddy (one plus 6 ) i have used s22 ultra and trust me I don't know why reviewers are not complaining but it is a mini heater as compare to pixel 7 pro and yeh i am hardcore gamer so don't think i am not crushing it well aur heating to m2 (ipad pro)me bhi hota hai aur jisko lag rha nhi hota vo comment kr k btna mai game's k nam de dunga fir khud check krna

I believe only we people are crazy after iPhones… cause “haath me iPhone rehna chahiye”, per the general people mindset. A lot of my stateside partners have already ditched their iPhones and switched to Pixel devices, and they are very happy with the move. That shift will come here too, but it’s gonna take some time.

IMO There is just one choice for someone looking for an elegant Android phone: the Pixel. The phone has a sleek, simple, and premium feel to it. Since 2017, I have owned a Pixel 1, which I traded in for a Pixel 6a in 2022. I really appreciate the phone's lifespan because of Google's software support. I intend to hold onto my Pixel 6a till the device dies. Pixel is not suitable for heavy users like gamers.

Hey, this is from a pixel user (6a) I have been using this device from 2 years now and I don't understand why people and youtubers hated this I mean it has 60hz display so does the base model iphones you don't complain there, yes it has a slower and heated chipset so does every Exynos you don't sue samsung for that, I love my pixel and my next device will also be a pixel #teampixel zinbadad, mostly reasons are camera and user experience, the software is just too fluid and useful and feels kinda personal I am now attached to my device like it's my fav person or something idk 😅. So far the experience has been good and unlike other devices it just gets better with every software update even smoother even faster and I love it while others were getting green line and motherboard dead issues I've been chilling with my pixel having no issues at all and thanking myself to make the decision of buying this. I don't think it's any mastermind technique like apple did to break into the market of India, their products and community are just so good people won't wanna leave it when they join
