Thank you for posting. Read his history many decades ago and was inspired to do a degree in philosophy, which I am so grateful I did! A great philosopher and political activist.
Wish all those ‘science & tech bros’ would read Russell’s excerpt; but they won’t bc it’s just easier to keep asserting that “philosophy doesn’t do anything.”
