I've been a Democrat for 25+ years and I despise Hillary with a passion. That should speak volumes to the Democratic establishment about how bad of a candidate she is. In fact, the DNC rigging the primary in her favor is a bridge too far for me (I supported Bernie). I'm done with the Democratic Party forever, and proudly cast my vote for Dr. Jill Stein last week. Congrats DNC, you got your candidate but handed the election to that buffoon Donald Trump.

You sound like me and I'm sure you've been threatened using Trump and preemptively blamed for what happens if Trump is elected as if it's your fault that they conspired to have a shitty candidate represent the party. I also don't like when people use the, "she's not as bad as..." NO, screw that, that cannot and will not be acceptable for someone that I endorse and vote for. You have to be better than, "Not as bad as___" to get my vote and support, just because I'm black doesn't mean I HAVE to vote Democrat, they have to earn it and if they won't and they carry on as Diet Republican I will find support who really speaks for and supports liberal and progressive ideas like Dr Jill Stein whom I voted for and did so without apathy or a bad taste in my mouth.

signas82 Right on brother. At the end of the day, it came down to 2 things for me. I had to vote my conscience and the Democratic Party did nothing to earn my vote. Their heavy handed tactics tipping the scale in Hillary's favor is something I cannot condone in this thing we call a "democracy," and their continued dismissal of real progressives ideals after she won in the nomination was like spitting in my face. Also, I live in a solidly blue state, so my vote wouldn't had made a difference. What's most important now is that we allow 3rd Party candidates a seat at the table for future elections.

What's most important to me now is that 3rd Party candidates get a seat at the table for future elections. If this election has taught us anything, this 2 party system is antiquated.

Voter turnout is going to be so low for Hillary, Trump might actually stand a chance in the election.

Graham Skelly I think you will find her to be far more competent than the propaganda says. We progressives will have a path to push her our way because we have lots of allies, and people like Bernie and Elizabeth Warren on our side. This is hardly a hopeless situation. Elizabeth Warren is not going to push Hillary Clinton any way. Warren makes grandstanding speeches that play well to the progressive late night crowed, John Oliver et al. She is way out of her depth though when it comes to making effective change...She has been massively ineffective.

Of course she's been ineffective in reaching some of her goals, but with a totally obstructionist House and a Senate that blocked everything to the point of disrespect for the president, what do you expect? She most definitely *_will_* seek Wall Street and financial reform. These have been her goals for well over a decade. That is not talk. She just needs a stronger president than Obama (Clinton), a muted House, which it will be when the Republicans lose half their lead there, and a Senate majority, which I think the Dems will get. Then the dynamics change.

Clinton is the furthest right of the four candidates on my ballot. Thought long and hard... Stein or Trump. Decided that a Trump vote was a bigger F-U to the Democrats. Ballot mailed back last week. His abortion stance is unfortunate, but his position on virtually every other issue is better than Clinton's. An Obama win gave the GOP a six year run. A Clinton win will save the GOP and mean the Democrats will run someone even further right next time around.
