@@derrickharris6932So, in the days when that scripture was written, church service was not like it was today with one person speaking. It was more like a gathering and discussion where the congregation could speak and ask questions and even debate to a certain degree. The men were the ones allowed to do that in public. In those settings, it was out of order for the women to speak out in question of the speaker or what was being taught. If she had questions, she was to seek the answer from her cover (husband) in private, not in public. That is what that scripture speaks of.

I could weep with relief and joy at Cece Winan’s resolve to LOVE the Lord God with ALL of her heart, soul, mind and strength. Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Yes, Lord, we express our love for You in our obedience. ❤️

Cece never ceases to challenge me with her firm stand for the truth. It's uncommon in our days, but really is what should be. "you can't look at everything and listen to everything..." I heard that one. May we all learn this level of consecration.

I’m agree with you CeCe regarding the song. I used to sing this song before I was saved. I heard recently but had to stop singing because of the lyrics. Some people don’t want to align their lives according to the word of God. Thank you for not shrinking back into silence!

I Totally Agree With CeCe!!! 💯⚘ One of the greatest things to take from this is that, if a person is your friend, you can be truthful with them about what you think, and not lose the friendship. You know they are a friend when you can say No, and they are still your friend. That's how I knew my best friend was a real friend. I am fortunate to have great memories of her since her passing at a young age. Yes, CeCe was right in her choice, and her No.❤🙏❤🙏

Agreed, there did seem to be a spiritual difference. She wants to believe her friend has gone on to be with the Lord. But it seems, in reality, to say that with certainty you would have to ignore the other side of Whitney. I hope for Whitney's sake that CeCe is right, but for CeCe to say that so certainly when we all know the public aspects of Whitney's life is conflicting.

I don't think I ever listened closely to the lyrics. I knew" I"m every woman" and that's about it. I'm glad CeCe mentioned t hose opening words. When is she gonna discuss that in her sermon? Why use Whitney Houston as an example for anything? Why Won't she speak the "truth" about her own relatives?

She is a Godly woman...guided by the Holy Spirit...this wasn't her truth...It IS The Truth...whatever the Lord says IS True...

CeCe Winans is one of my top 5 vocalists of any genre or era, but she is my number one Gospel music (minister champion) of all time! She is sold out for Jesus and is a "word in action" testimony of Romans 8:31 which proclaims; "If God be for me".... I don't care who is against me. If anyone that says they "know" you gets upset with what you had said about Whitney doesn't truly know you then. We need to fix our eyes on God than this world because we're not staying here. A long time ago, I started listening to country music. I asked one of my sisters to listen to the words of a song I wanted her to hear. She said no, she doesn't like country music. I said don't listen to the music but listen to the words. She did...after I held her "hostage" in my bedroom, lol. She absolutely loved the song due to the words. If people would actually listen to the words and not the music they may reconsider listening to the songs they do. We all need to go to or get back with God and fast! Thank you Cece for your stance.
