dear im from pakistan and i live at mirpurkhas umarkot is 77 km from me..i have also visited mata hinglaj mandir such a pleasant memories, everyone should visit pakistan specially umerkot bcz the population of umarkot, 90 percent of umarkots population are hindus.. Jai Shanker......

the Umarkot Mandir sounds more similar to Pashu Pati Nath mandir. The cowherd had enough cows, but still the cows were not giving milk. This incident happened several times. So he decided to observe the cows. He noticed that in a particular are all the cows were collected and he realized that the ground was also wet. this thing being repeated for several times. he decided to dig the wet area. Then the Shiv Ling was discovered. That is why the temple name is itself Pashupati Nathn Mandir.
