Exactly! People have gone too far, it is normal conversation to ask if you think your baby will have blue eyes. It happens to be a mother who is biracial, who wants to be white. She doesn't see her mother's side of the family!!! Her mother is black, Meghan has to realize the baby may have the grandmother's features. Children are a combination of parents grandparents and beyond. Why is that offensive to ask??? Archie as a baby appears to have creamy white skin. The new baby may have other features. Meghan doesn't have a clue about genetics, this baby may be totally different in appearance. Meghan hates her family and Harry's family. Who does she think she is? She didn't have a kind words for anyone!!

There is always two sides to every story, let her American family and the Royal Family have equal time to tell their side! These two will do anything for money!

Members of the royal family MUST have the permission of the Queen to marry. IF they WERE racist, do you not think that permission would have been removed ? It has also emerged today that the remark was made BEFORE MM was ever pregnant. It sppears to have been an innocent remark about what the skin tone of their children might be. Harry looked deeply embarrassed when this was raised. It would not surprise me to learn he concocted this conversation to Meghan with no truth behind it.

Everything on TV is obviously done for dramatic effect for a captive audience and it clearly worked which is why Oprah earns millions and the rest of us don't!! This is all absurd. The reality is “who really would deny this might be a question?” It wasn’t even negative. Wasn’t Meghan curious? Wouldn’t that be normal? The Queen is not racist. You are more likely to find who among her sons. Meghan said she zooms in often to see Archie and Harry loves his Granny as he calls her. I do not accept racism from anyone. My children were of different colours and race, I have seen what people feel they have the right to say or do when they have no right. I might not stand up for me but I have taken many down for hurting my kids. Most of that interview was called not great acting. Look back to Diana’s interviews and you will find similar wording, expressions and looks that were Diana. She was real even if the truth hurt her.

Now who do we believe, because when you watch the interview, Meghan says the remark of colour came up when pregnant, but when Oprah asks Harry, he said it was before they married, who should we believe, and just saying if my son was dating a Chinese girl, im sure at some stage someone woulld probably ask, " wonder what bubs eyes would be like" that's not racism that just how most families are like blonde or black hair etc. Well this baby girl on the way maybe whiter than Archie, but then again maybe not, she may be darker, but who really cares as long as s their all hapy in their new life.

I have a niece she's Chinese and we said I wonder if her babies gonna have-Chinese eyes-and is he going to have her darker complexion or is he going to take after the father who is lighter. I'm sorry for thinking out loud. What's the big deal. And she said she was wondering the same thing to.

@@MR-cj8uw exactly maria, it doesnt mean there is malice or racism its just curiosity in most cases, and in Archies case he is not bi-racial, hes has 5 white granparents, a white father and a half white mother, there is one person who is dark and thats Doria, i just dont understand the whooo ha about his colour, and with so many bloodlines being white, why have people like Oprah and Whoopi Goldberg so outraged, at what may have been a purely innocent remark.

Her accusations was all here say and rife with second hand imagined characterizations and assumed intent by the mythical "guilty party".

She is so nice to tell what someone said but not say who said it. This way we are left to speculate who said it and people who didn't say it can be falsely accused.🤨

And why not ? Don’t we all wonder about future children, grandchildren, etc. if they will be blond, dark haired, blue eyed, brown eyed,? So why not light-skin, or dark-skin ?

I’m so offended! As a grandmother of two bi racial grandsons. We discussed the likelihood of whether their eyes would be brown or blue, their hair blonde or brown, their skin white or coloured. Omg I’m racist! This is not unusual conversation to have. We were just so excited about all the likely options. ( I’m sorry if this offends anyone )

Light and dark skinned black people make similar comments as well. Some were even told don't marry a man who is too dark BECAUSE....the part that i find most disturbing is that they were not going to give him the same privileges as the other all-white grandkids.

maybe how they brought it up wasn't intended to ne offensive and they were simply thinking out loud. Many people have these conversations. i know i would with my baby daddy, or family. Like what do you think the baby will look like?

If the royal family had been racist, then they would never have accepted Meghan Markle to be the wife of Prince Harry. I remember how beautiful the British received her at their first public appearance and especially at the wedding. She was also much more protected by the royal family than Kate Middleton. And Prince Charles treated her and her mother very well. Prince William and Kate Middleton treated her just as well. Meghan Markle's behavior toward them was gross. That's why Prince William was angry with them. She complains and makes the victim, without having a sense of proportion. She doesn't realize how ridiculous she is when she claims that she sacrificed her career as a second-hand actress to join the royal family and become a duchess. Truly a huge sacrifice. Ha! Ha! I'm sorry about Prince Harry, whether he wants to or not, he has to be on his wife's and children's side. That's what a real husband does. This proves a noble education. In fact, he is now trapped, not when he was single.

Discussions about potential skin color can be done in two ways. Good and Bad. Just having the discussion does not automatically mean that it was bad. This would require more disclosure.

I had a white manager who married a black woman. They would talk about their unborn child's skin color all the time. He would say he wanted his baby to have dark skin and of course the wife wanted the baby to be lighter like her dad. If you're in a bi-racial relationship its bound to come up more than likely. Colorism is hurtful to many including myself.
