Agreed. It was forced error from drafting phase. There is no scenario where Onic don't get picked off.

Lemme Clarify some things: First of all from Games 1-7 Kiboy and Butss didn't make any impact from those games as you can see Kiboy is always getting picked off by the 3 members of AP Bren. Second, Butss can't win on laning phase against Flap. Third, In Game 7 If you focus on Onic's Lineup then you should Know Kairi is the ONLY one who can check bushes and can get away with it with his first skill. Fourth, People think Kairi made a Mistake for Checking the RBM (Right Bush Middle) without realizing it was his job to check bushes since he was using a Tank/Jungler. And from his perspective, he didn't expect that the 3 members of AP Bren were in the RBM providing vision for their team. Fifth, Kiboy never did his job to check bushes as a roamer properly and always got picked off by AP Bren Sixth, That CLAUDE pick in game 7 was a BLUNDER pick. Why would you take a scaling hero that heavily relies on early game headstart. Sure Claude does deal damage in the late game, BUT they need to keep a gold lead and their momentum to make Claude a monster in the late game but guess what? Onic ID didn't achieve it. I've seen pro teams never pick Claude in their last game unless they're confident that they can get the gold lead early on. Seventh, Onic ID panicked when Kairi was taken out in Game 7 which ultimately gave the opportunity for AP Bren to end the game. They should've retreated to their base and defended since it's just a Level 2 Lord and you can still defend it. EIGHTH, (THE MOST IMPORTANT) I guess you didn't know that moonton added a new feature on the map that can provide you vision on your jungle area but I guess ONIC ID didn't use it, as a Jungler myself I would've done the same thing that Kairi did because normally in Lord Dance, Players tend to position in the bushes near the Lord and most likely MM and Jungler are holding the Lord. (If you get what my point here then there's no doubt why Kairi did check that Middle Bush)

I agree to this one. Also lets give credit to sanz kadita if they choose to let sanz to handle kadita that guy has a 100% wr on that hero. Next they should give kiboy a hero that is a tanky which is his specialty specially on that very last game and the last one is kairi specialty the lancelot. Everyone knows how good kairi on using lancelot and his godlike skill on retri battles.

i'm filipino and i really know kairi, he didn't cry but he's really sad for the team collapse after he died and failed to get the trophy, but after all he's still happy because ph wins again 4-peat, he's still filipino, he also said in interview he plays for onic "no no no" for indonesia

This wasn’t only Kairi’s fault but Onic’s as a whole. That was a dreadful draft pick. Hopefully they learn from this

It wasnt over when Kairi died after the bush check, Bren still could not end by then, Onic can defend. It's when Sanz died that the defence was gone. If Onic just gave up the Lord and backed out, they could have defended, but staying in the team fight after Kairi died and losing Sanz was what made them lose.

Kairi has to check the bush, others 4 cannot. If only they drafted a true tank/roamer that can soak up a lot of damage and can check bushes. They already lost just after the draft.

Kairi is the only reason why they ended up as top team of M5 this year.! Not his fault for team being to heavily reliant on Kairi’s success.

Game 7 draft is fine.. execution is lacking.. The other comment here cemented the points.. but just to avoid repeating also my comments on other videos. Onic's game 7 draft is very similar to echo. Problem is they did not execute the same gameplay with multiple blunders for kiboy - bush check and ult/petri combo. Also Ducky and the whole Bren knows this draft/gameplan very well since it came from Echo. So they knew how to exploit this especially that Buts is so weak in laning compared to Sanford.

At the end of the day and we have no any idea how to handle the pressure they were experiencing. this is a 5man team. AP bren executed better on game 7. hats off to onic for pushing this finals to 7 games. They almost had it

2:47 I wouldn’t recommend Pharsa there, AP Bren has a Khaleed that can easily disrupt Pharsa specially when using ult. Yve was okay pick there because of Faramis. Also Yve’s first skill is spammable to check bush, ever Yve’s second skill can be used to check bush. The Kadita questionable maybe or maybe not, I’m just questioning some of the engages of Kadita though and also the waiting in bush for soo long.

Onic was doomed from the start Ap Bren used mostly sustainable heroes which means they can tank alot of dmg while bordy is in the back. And onic mostly got burst and little sustainability

the draft and picks are good one, its just kiboy did not know how to initiate a team fight with kadita, also it's not kairi's fault, its the other 4, like most people said, only Kairi can check the bush in that part, its just the onic didn't have enough time to react in that, and they actually initiated a clash without kairi, if they defended the base, they've probably won.

Pretty well constructed analysis, nothing much too add. Only conclusion I can make is that ONIC ran out of fuel after the 2 comeback and crumbled under pressure, both teams were doing minute mistakes but ONIC couldn't function as one team in crucial clashes for whatever reason.

Imagine Kairi opens KZread and sees this video

if you analyze the crucial last 3 mins kairi's bush check is a normal thing to do because his most mobile hero, tanky and nearest to the lord. kadita and yve could have check the bush but they are far from the lord. usually mid bushes during a lord dance did'nt have a MM in it is usually a exp laner or mage or roamer in there that's why kairi did jumps into that bush and did not expect brody is there with ogwen and pheww. another factor was nobody did step that vision flair in Onic's base to give vision to kairi that the bushes above the Lord has no one in it he could have an idea that the mid bush is a death bush knowing the bushes above the lord is clear. there are a lot of factors to consider playing in 7 games you can really anticipate movement of the opposing team but that time AP bren did something unorthodox during lord dance.

Atleast he's the best jungler for Kairi. No doubts for him

M5 just shows how much Onic depends on Kairi, he is literally the Roam and Jungler.

I think it is the whole teams call to check bush baxia. And too late to realize that bren already snowballed and burst baxia.

They had many errors in that game not just Kairi, Butss Terizla was underperforming and got gapped by Flaptzy, Kiboy sometimes do unnecessary engages onto 3-4 members where he gets chained CC even though Kiboy plays Kadita really good but he did mistakes there, and then Kairi did the bush check when he is a retri holder, like they were gapped in gold. They could’ve made Butss do the bush checking since clearly he was really underperforming. After Kairi died literally their whole team started to crumble. If only they already retreated once Kairi died then they could’ve prolonged the game maybe.

Choosing Kadith as the roamer was a big mistake. Kadith isn't tanky and wasn't able to check bushes, so Kairi had to check bushes instead, which endangered him and slowed down his jungling speed.

Come clinching game 7 they immediately address it with Faramis 2nd pick. Khaleed is a supplementary damage amd zone. Edith last pick is cherry on top. Tank/mm for that role. I agree Pharsa is a better choice-have stun,can rotate faster thus help clearing lanes and objectives, there is a reason why Eve is not pick much often. Congratulations to AP Bren. It’s not new that the jungler is picked off. Karltzy, kyletzy, wise, sensui, and all other junglers have these moments wherein they were picked off as well, however the difference is that their other 4 teammates would not engage knowing that the disadvantage would be on their team. However in onic, the other 4 members still forced to engage knowing that their jungler died, and the faramis hasn’t used his ult. YEAH, I BLAME THE OTHER 4 MEMBERS RATHER THAN BLAME KAIRI

The picks for Onic should be mage Faramis and adc Karie. The error was from the couch not from Kairi.

The major downfall was when kairi got killed.... Onic panicked and tats when apbren got advantage n ended the game.. if onic had backed-up n defend it would've been a whole different game

Exactly, he had a bad history with finals which might have affected his mentality plus they also were losing 1-3. Kairi didnt make flashy plays and he probably thought others were thinking bad of him as well. Even though i was supporting onic it seemed like ap bren was a better team and the difference was ap bren were more consistent whereas onic were better at making more miracle plays. Ap bren were smart as well they learnt from past games and caught kiboy lurking and tbh in the last game onic played pretty bad.

Him and Yeb contributed a lot to their road to the finals(the first finals appearance for Indo since M1) but now all of those efforts are moot cuz they didn't win. Just how sad is that? You just had to do a kid who did his best like that. Man.

At 7th game Onic's biggest mistake was picking "yve" as mage and that's why they lose. They should have picked Valentina.

The loss is not Kairi's fault alone. The whole team contributed to that loss. Kairi had to check the bush coz he's the tank. But someone should've stood on the flare in order to have visibility on the lord area. You can see that the flare was available. Had Onic used that flare, it would show that the bushes around the lord is empty, thus, the AP Bren players must be on the other bushes and Kairi would not have rushed in. Putting the loss on Kairi is a big disservice to him.

For me, it wasn't his fault tbh, it must be the work of roamer, which is kiboy, however, he picked kadita as his roam and can't check bushes or can't give vision to any bushes due to his durability. Kairi choose Baxia as his hero, Baxia has the ability to sustain those damages coming from bren and the only hard hero could check bushes as Baxia had a skill to escape and you can't entrust terizla in checking bushes as the only skill he can escape is his ultimate that needed to be save for team clashes, so if you're going to ask me whose to blame, it would be KIBOY, Kadita is no match up with Edith.

Its a good analization , but what can I say, everyone has their difference pov on that game, one thing is certain it was a good fight. For them to blame one person only, these are the people who didnt watch and understand the game carefully. And yeah there are some mistakes created by the both team but they give their best shot their so no need to blame one person, It is true that there are certain player who underperform , but if you ask me there is only two things I saw their about that thing, Wether that player really underperform or just his opponent are to strong for him to handle, he didnt underperform, maybe his opponent are just too strong for him especially for them to handle. Thats all it was a goof fight untill the end.

At the end of the day, this is a TEAM GAME. All 5 players are responsible for the team’s action. Do not play the blame game.
