She is correct. A lot of people doesn’t know okomfo anokye actually received the golden stool in front of these 5 chiefs including kwaman hene ( osei tutu) . The formation of the Asante confederation is different from the entire history.

Kokofu and nsuta are the same people, otumfuo is nsuta chiefs nefew

It is not true. According to history, as written by Capt. Rattray (who has been named after a park by Manhyia), Kumawu is part of the "amanto" The title of the book is "Ashanti Law and Constitution". The old woman didn't get it entirely correct

when we were in elementary school we were taught this song concerning the "amanto". it goes like this "asante amanto y3 nnum, Kokofu, Dwaben, Bekwai, Nsuta ne Mampong, and Kumasi is the head. this is true history. the non-ashanties have distorted the true history out of jealousy. during our time asante history was taught in all schools including West Africa. asante history was part of WAEC questions for all ghanaians and this brought a lot of jealousy among other tribes in Ghana. and these people made sure this is not pursued. But remember who Ja bless.....

For those of you who are lazy to read, this is from page 73 of ASHANTI LAW AND CONSTITUTION: "These territorial groupings were, as we have remarked, quite independent of each other. Even at this period, some half-dozen of such territorial units had assumed sufficient size and importance to cause them to be known locally as the AMANTO, i. e. group of Aman or tribes. These were Assumegya, Juaben, Kumawu, Kumasi, Mampon, and Offinsu. Nsuta, Kokofu, and Bekwai, though in existence, were still comparatively unimportant."
