Hi Miri, Since I was a little girl I loved horses. They are the most beautiful gracious creatures. But I was bitten by a horse and the horseywoman who was there and who was also our neighbour made fun of me and laughed in my face. The horse basically ran up on me with flattened ears and bit my hair and my head and tried to pick me up by my hair. I was absolutely traumatised and I was just a kid. It could have been really bad, but God protected me from serious injury. It wasn’t the horses fault. It was the fault of the toxic owner who prided himself in the fact that his horse only loved him and hated everybody else. He named the horse ‘Trouble’. Since then I feared and distrusted horses and horseywoman. Until I found your YT channel. You restored my faith in horses and humans. I want to thank you for that Miri.

I certainly started following you for Obi as well, he really is unique, and I want to see more breeds and types of horses like him and riders believing in him like you did. But I stayed because I love your way of doing things, I love that you take your time for every horse in particular and that you only want the best for them. You prioritize their needs and that is something so important in the horse world. You are so lucky for having found a horse like him, obviously big props to his owner who has supported you from the beginning and for taking this very important and absolute right decision, but Obi is lucky as well for having found someone like you. I'm wishing all the best on your future with Zora and little Inde. Obi will now have a very deserved retirement, and you can focus on helping so many other horses like you always do. I can’t believe he is retiring but if it’s time it’s time you can’t say my horse is going to retire when they are this old because there are horses like Obi that do get injured and can’t do ridden work anymore but they are still happy and loving I’ve I will totally miss Obi he was definitely my favourite even though your not supposed to have favourites and he definitely flew the flag for cobs and cob types all over just proving they can do it so thank you for sharing him with us

I can't even imagine how much your going to miss him as I know he has had a huge impact on me. Someone posted in my local riding group her camel that she takes out on trail rides. I think I'd squeal like a girl if a camel showed up at an event I attended. And takes lots of selfies! Lol. Obi looks to be settling into retirement quite well! We will all def miss seeing Obi the killer whale (I thought exactly that my 1st time seeing him in your videos). As you/we do with all of our horses, it is what is best for them. That's always the ultimate goal with these magical animals that help us learn & grow in so many different ways! I know how you feel. I miss my horse so baddly. I had to give my horse away to a kids riding stable, because I was in debt with his vet bills that he had also. Where I live there was no good stables with indoors. He was there for about 3 months were he either coliced or had some kind of ulcer breakdown, where they put him down, in Feb 2020. I had him on alot of stuff which I dont know if the stable followed my feeding directions. I went to visit him in January of that year. I wanted to take him back, so badly. I trusted my best friend where she takes her horses to retire. But when I went there, they had him in a stall that was dark inside a indooor, which they said he gets to be alnight in the indoor so he can walk around. They had small paddocks, maybe one was grass and the other one was dirt. I just wish I could of seen it before I agreed to them having him. The lady that had the property was a important person in the Western Pennsylvania Area of the USA. I wish I could of done some things different with him. With some stables that he was in. And some things which when i moved. I just wish one day I can have a barn that has a nice indoor and outdoor. Were I live its mostly Western riding. I like English riding. From eventing to dressage. My Max was to far to go to visit, he was about 1 hour and a 30minutes away from me. I'm so happy you get to see Obi. Hugs from one equestrain to another.

He must’ve been listening to you and wanted to illustrate your talk. 😂 Your affection for Obie is obvious. He is a delightful horse. So glad he has an owner that wants to give him a lovely retirement. Not everyone would. Does anyone else love Obie’s ears as much as I do? They are elegant as well as eloquent.

Honestly obi is amazing and one of the main reasons I started following you. To see a horse like him , a cob type doing what he did really changed my mindset of what me and my boy could do. That then led me to your groundwork and I can’t tell you how grateful I am I saw that first video of Obi as it opened my eyes and ears massively for my horse .
