I've been listening to pk for a couple years now. This is the best pokemon channel on youtube, PK is genuine and honest, as well as extremely educated. Thank you PK for helping me be a well rounded and more intelligent collector.

I'm telling you Chicago collect-a-con is gonna be a massive hit. This is the first big big tcg event in the Midwest. Nows like the best time to be grading. Psa blessed me with 17 out of 19 psa 10s, on a bunch of high margin IRs and SIRs, like groudon, raichu, charmanders, ect. Didnt have to sell a single card back on ebay because I was deligent when sourcing. The funds came from selling a case of PC celebrations ETBs. I didnt want to sell the celebrations, but it was the right move. That case probley never would have hit 2000$, and grading modern singles did that in like 30 days. One of those "tough" desicions in the moment that was blatantly obvious in hindsight. It wasnt hot anymore and I just had to face facts and put it to work somewhere more efficient 🤷‍♂️

I called it a year ago. Those who think Pokémon is a get rich quick scheme are going to be hurting. Eeryone and their father..Dan reference has sealed cases of modern. The only reason that they bought them was they wee speculating that they could make money on them. Once they stay stagnet for a year or 2 people are going to be in a hurry to recoup. Thus selling at a loss. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen this in collectibles of all sorts over decades. Good luck people.

Collection identity isn't as important as PK endlessly harps on about. Maybe it is for HIM but as an objective statement it's not.

I got back in and opened a lot. I graded childhood cards and modern cards I pulled. My collection is all over the place 4 years later. I rarely open now, so rarely grade. My daughter does most of the opening at this point. I’m investing at this point. Buy low and forget it. I’ve sold very little.

My inventory is simple, 2 booster boxes of every set, 1 etb of each Pokémon center. That’s my main collection. I have 25 of the flareon/jolteon/vaporeon boxes.
