@@johnharris8872 Keep coping. The best is yet to come for your fake * champ. Honestly, i dont care any more for this fake GOAT debate. Thst shit has always been fake. Djokovic has done enough for me even that 2011 season when he proved that he is the highest peak tennis has ever seen. The rest was a bonus. As for Weakdal, i just want to see him get what he deserves, and that is his third loss at FO to the real GOAT so that he has something to remember him by when Djokovic retires him and sends him to his nursing home to hold hands with his boyfriend mr 40:15 🤣🤣. This sport is dead to me a long time ago. Its just a bunch of nobodies with Weakdal at the top, besides Djokovic. And now its payback time, and its gonna be a devastating one. I honestly hope that your weak champ will be 1000% ready and able to perform at his peak. That is how i want him to be when Djokovic crushes him, its not fun any other way. Djokovic took his soul a long time ago, he just didnt get a postcard yet, but i believe that until both of them are done, Djokovic will destroy him at least one more time so bad, than im afraid for the Spanish 🐀 mental health after that 🤣🤣. And trust me, i can recognize a nobody when i see one. A great tennis player, but a shit of a human being and a coward. And sooner or later he is going to get what is coming to him.

The sheer standard of tennis at the highest levels of the men's game means that winning 30 Grand Slam titles is asking an awful lot, even for the greatest player that I've ever seen. Nole may be almost freakily superior to every other player in so many ways, and I honestly think he'll still be competitive at 40 years of age, but it's easy to overlook the very serious challenges he'll face from the likes of Alcaraz, Rune etc. More realistically, I'd expect Nole to grab 26 titles, or maybe 27 with luck, but if your prediction of 30 titles proves correct, then as a huge Nole fan myself, I'd love to be proved wrong. Greetings from England, everyone.

I don't think Alcaraz or Rune could be that much of a threat to him. At least not in the next 2 years or so. But, the older athlete became, the more prone to injury he became. And recovery is taking much more time. At 36 - that recovery can take enough time to end one's career.. It's not the same with all athletes. For example, LeBron James can slow down a little, and a team can take a hit for him. But with individual sports, you must give a maximum if you want to win. And that goes for every tournament (or at least GS). If he stays healthy for 3 years I believe he could take 30. Otherwise, 26 would be an excellent number. realistically 24-25

I firmly believe Novak will be the first man to win a major after the age of 40. My hope and prediction is that he will maintain his current "semi-peak" form for about two more years and then slowly start to conserve himself and try to play fewer matches in order to protect his body from too much stress. After that, I see him playing for another three to five years competitively and retiring somewhere between 41 and 43. In fact, I'm calling it right now: AO 2030 will be his final grand slam victory. There!

It all depends on his will and goal. I know he wants to beat as many records as possible. No one would think that the record of Steffi Graf could ever be beaten.. and yet it will be in 2 weeks. Next is Serena's record of number of GS.. and that is 23. Now, if (and I think he will), Rafa would play RG, that would be an extra motive for Novak.Maybe next will be to win a calendar slam. If he will achieve that this year, next year his main goal would be an Olympic gold.

I still give props to Rafa as the best Clay Court player ever and he has incredible intensity! Fedder was the most graceful player the game has ever seen. He's shot Accuracy is unmatched ( tho Novak is a very close 2nd ). All around game on all Surfaces goes to Novak and it isn't close. Let's be honest. Novak will win AO and Wimbledon for the next 3-4 years and could sneak in a couple other GS wins along the way.

No matter what happens, I do think that if Rafa and Nole play each other at the French Open this year, one of two things will happen: 1) Rafa wins again and gets to 23 Slams and 15 FO trophies and subsequently retires. Nole is dejected but motivated to snatch the 2 last slams of the year to tie Nadal and surpass him and then he loses motivation without his rival and retires in 2024 after winning one last AUSOpen. 2) Nole wins an epic 5-setter in the final, lifts the 3rd FO trophy and the 23rd Slam trophy and then is finished as Rafa will retire and his motivation will not be there anymore as he's beaten Rafa at the RG and at the Slam race at the same time. That would take a huge toll physically and mentally on Djokovic and he would go home to his family. That being said, Nole vs Rafa at the 2023 French Open final would be the greatest and most watched match of all time. Mark my words and let's hope they are on opposite sides of the draw and healthy.

Could see him getting to 30 if he focuses heavily on AO and US open. He could win the next 4 years at AO with only threats really being Medvedev and Alcaraz. I don’t think he should bother as much at the French bc it’s physically demanding and Tsitsipas and Alcaraz among others will take him down. He does have a chance at Wimbledon but I still think hard court is where he should preserve himself if he wants to play past 40.

@RobWellmon Contrary to popular belief, I believe the good period involving Fed, Nadal, Djokovic only lasted from 2004 to 2016. Federer dominated from 2004 to 2007, then he got serious challenge from 2008 through 2010, when he won less Slams than Nadal. Then from 2011, Djokivic showed up and dominated until now. If you give Djokovic, also a huge talent, five years to dominate, that would be about right. But the fact that there's no younger challenge to him to date means that tennis talent had stagnated starting in 2016. So to me, since 2016, we are actually in a dark age, saved only by the resurgence of an elder Federer. He actually brought new tool to the table, so it's almost like we got a new player on the scene. But that couldn't last, nor should it, and since Federe exited again due to age, it's the real dark age.

Novak is only half of the equation. The other half is the young upcoming talent. Some of these guys are only 20 or 21 (FAA, Alcaraz, Sinner and Rune) so they won't enter their primes for 4 or 5 years. Then there are others who are either just about to enter it (Tsitsipas, Ruud, Rublev) or are in the middle of it (Medvedev, Khachanov, Zverev, Norrie). There are a lot of talented guys out there and with Novak aging and playing less tennis and with these guys getting better and physically maturing, it's not going to be a slow transition. It's gonna be sudden and surprising. It's just a matter of time and nobody can predict that. We can't predict who will be the next big name nor can we predict when they will take over. It looks like Medvedev is the current biggest threat. I dont fear the younger guys too much. Novak will be toppled by someone entering their prime or older. Novak won 5 slams from age 20 to 24 ... Unreal!! .. but then won only 1 during the ages of 25 and 26. He didn't really enter his prime until age 27. He lost 5 out of 6 finals during this transition period. His first 5 titles were incredible. If Novak slips at all, then he will open the door to the younger guys but i think the bigger threat is the unknown level of tennis that could come from guys just entering their prime years. Or even guys like Medvedev. We might not have seen the best tennis from Medvedev yet. He's not that old. Just sayin!!!
