Super meteor is the best cruiser today..Each bike has its own unique problems and issues.. we live with it and adapt to it.. The problem is the non responsive support system. True bro. Please don't be frustrated from the comments of blind RE fans. Actually you are giving us the real world problem of supermeteor 650. That's why right now I dropped the plan to purchase the supermeteor 650 , until the problem solved by RE.

Same this I feel Kedarnath trip (Abs wali /disk wali ) Pencher nhi lgta out sider se Road asset liya wo bhi 6 ghate bad aya Becoz of 350 chain break out

I have the same issue right from the beginning within a months time and RE are aware of this. Finally after much persuasion they changed the chain and rear sprocket. Now I have to wait and see if the problem persists.

It's royal Enfield who should take responsibility..

Its a sad state of affairs with RE none of the showrooms are equipped with accessories for SM650 nor the service centres are equipped with spare parts, very rightly said 4 lac bike is available but not the chain sprocket.

I was thinking to book sm650 this month. Just talked with showroom yesterday. Dropping the plan. Will see if any updates comes from RE.

I agree that RE has a long long way to go as far as QC is concerned. I have a Meteor 350 done 27000kms on it. After 12000kms the chain set had to be changed. My other bike, a Triumph Speed 400 has done 8500kms, and uski chain aaj din tak loose tak nahi hui hai. That's quality at an affordable price. Isliye my next bike is going to be a Honda NX500 and NOT the Himalayan 450. Agar budget na hota to KTM 390 ADV le leta, par Himalayan...No Thanks 🙏

Did you ask service centre to swap chain set of display super meteor? We're they eager to help? We were in Leh, friends KTM had issue some specific bolts were not available. Mechanic took bolts from available KTM in service centre requested us to courier replacement bolts when we reach Mumbai. That's customer centric option organisation's should have....

Hi Anil, thanks for the update. Had to suffer through the English auto-translate but I got your message loud and clear. I've been thinking of buying the SM650, but I will wait and see now that you have raised this problem. Also, other UTubers have mentioned problems with the Shock absorbers. Teacher T in Thailand has replaced his shocks and his chain drive with a belt drive. I think these are good changes, but really, RE should be addressing these issues going forward, if they want to keep the RE fans coming back to buy more bikes. As far as service goes, it's a bit hit-and-miss here in Thailand as well. This seems to be a common trait for RE dealerships. Not sure what it's like in the UK or USA. At least in the UK they have Hitchcocks for those difficult-to-source parts. Keep up the good work. For us non-Hindi speaking, can you do some reviews in English too?

Thanks a lot for the honest feedback. I have driven Royal Enfield Machismo model during my college days around 1996...I can very well recall those endless teathing issues. Even after almost 28 Yrs, this is such a perennial issue with Indian Automobile Manufacturer's Royal Enfield mindset, of chalta hai attitude...Infact customer should be paid due compensation for the pain they go thru while using their product and improve their product. Ye dekh lo Make In India....ye nahin sudhrenge....buying Royal Enfield is almost 90% of the time, is an emotional decision but if company doesn't care about it...then what...I was thinking of buying this bike...but now...NO...

@mr.basavarajhakare5958 Yes, I have also seen Mr. AS almost all videos, specifically his Northeast tour. Very nicely edited and so many things to learn. AS is an honest person that I fell. He was very much appreciated for this bike earlier, but now he is showing the true reality of an expensive bike, which is not very common like Bullet or other 350 bikes. SM650 Bike parts are not easily available and also very expensive. So I am cancelling the booking for SM650 Booking reference number: BKG007557HI00062. I don't know if RE will refund my booking money or not.

Brother thankyou for your honest review you have told the audience honestly about positive and negative side of the bike ..I hope RE will take steps to resolve the issue .. those who are already owner of this bike like me its hard to digest these issues with the bike . But still I am in love with this bike even if it's ripping off my pocket still I love to ride this bike .. Hopefully RE will take some right steps to resolve sm 650 issue ..

I appreciate your efforts that u r bringing the issues in front of everyone. As the company will not pay attention to these issues until they will be discussed so openly. I wish that RE will took some steps to solve this problem and I can understand the problem u have faced during the North East trip. No one can realise the pain until he will be in the same condition.

I've faced a similar problem. The nuts on the rear wheel/sprocket that hold the entire assembly together, keep coming loose when I ride the bike. When this happens, I keep hearing a tik-tik sound because the sprocket becomes loose as well. This is a very dangerous issue. I'll be providing the bike to RE very soon. But I do not expect RE to give such poor quality on a bike of nearly 5 lacs on road in Bangalore.

The studs that secure the sprocket have been coming off on many super meteor. Use red colour loctight and secure the studs to prevent them from coming loose

Sir aapko consumer complaint karni chahiye RE k against because inka bhaaw itta jaya bada hua hai ki ye after sales service ka bilkul dhyan nhi dete. Mere Meteor 350 ki wiring harness change krne k liye in logo ne 1 month laga diya or pure 1 month motorcycle service centre me rahi. I am very disappointed with the service of RE

Thanks buddy for bringing this to us. I totally agree that RE is not behaving professionally. They are basking in the glory of recent popularity. However, many new bikes are coming in market and once RE starts facing stiff competition, they would change. I was planning to buy this bike, but am going to stay away from it for now.

If u want to buy a reliable bike, please consider some other brand. Also please don't buy RE first batch products. As their first batch always has some production or mechanical issues.

Anil bhai, Teacher T thailand ke naam se ek youtube channel hai jisne chain ki jagah belt ka upgrade kiya hai apni SM 650 mein. I know it's not an ideal solution and RE should address it and resolve it but if they don't you can try that too. Main bhi plan kar raha tha SM650 ke liye but tumhare experience ki wajah se plan delay kar diya hai. Screw RE if they don't sort this out. By the way, love your Ladakh vlogs. Did Ladakh whole circuit in 2004 on my modified bullet and your vlogs made me relive that. Hope you get a resolution soon.

You are lucky, if chain had broken at speed instead of just coming off, it could have caused a lot of damage, even injury.

I own a super meteor, I hate to say that RE service is worst. People who don't own any RE bikes atleast 650's don't please comment without knowing shit. Buy any 650 or himalayan you'll get to know how shit RE service is. Anil did nothing wrong here, If you go on solo ride and face such severe problems in middle of nowhere and nothing you can do about it even after maintaining the bike in such great condition with so many km on bike. THINK BEFORE YOU COMMENT. PEACE.

Bhai RE ka service is pathetic, I hav a Bullet ES 2021, which I bought from Austin Distributors. When I went for 1st Service, the supervisor said that I could have gone to another dealer as they are busy. They took 2 days to deliver my bike, The supervisor was so rude that he also told me that if I don't collect it on time. I will be charged Parking every day. My 5th service was due last month , I tried to give it to RE dealership, no one came to pick up my bike. I tried other service centres also but same response Since its a UCE model I gave it to the local mech finally. RE is a serious big no no for me now!

This is the reason I haven’t taken mine super meteor for long drives … it’s not reliable at all …don’t know when RE will woke up to these reoccurring issues..

Most showrooms knows only sellings, service ke naam peh engine oil, filters change karke dete hai,, lekin aapke jaise problem peh jawab nahi rehta

Your videos had almost convinced me to buy Super Meteor 650, but these serious issues are really to be considered before buying one. You are an amazing rider inspiring thousand around to live a life full circle. Take good care of yourself, and continue to inspire many more. Guys I have been following this machine prior launch and one of the very few first in the country to own one. I have to admit Anil Bhai is only one person who has taken this machine to place where not every owner can take. I also agree his machine is probably the only one which has travelled so much. I have it for 14 months and satisfactorily rode but still ODM clicking 5800 only. Hats off to you Anil Bhai... Cool do and let's find a solution...Keep riding bro👍

After first service I went to my home town Prayagraj from Delhi..raste me tank bolt 🔩 apne AAP kahi gir Gaya aur Aaj meri bike 12k kms chal chuki hai lekin uska tank bolt available nahi hai inke paas... Aur ye comment karne walo ko ignore Karo... rikshaw se chalne Wale hai jo negative comments kar rahe hai

Sirji, thank a lots by sharing your experiences. I delivered my super meteor 650 intersteller green from Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh on 24/04/2024. Before delivering my bike, I have stalls some accessories like Wind seal, sum guard, engine guard, foot pegs rider, top rack from Zana, handle riser etc. While installing handle riser, mechanic re arranged clutch wire and next morning I noticed that Engine signal not went off. So I have contact Royal enfield motors and they told me that it should be deleted from computer through software but unluckily, software are not available in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. Still I am driving with full on 😅 with compromising this engine signal with a 4 50 lakh engine. Royal Enfield should do a lots of works for this HEAVY Mchine. Top priority should given to make available on SPARE PARTS. Jai hind Anil sirji. Thank you once again by sharing your experiences. Anyway, come next time Pasighat and❤ explore with me.
