Who is president of Nigeria has a big impact on all of Africa. Buhari played a major role in the worsening of the anglophone crises here in Cameroon when he illegally allowed the arrest of separatist leaders on Nigerian soil. That was what sparked the armed struggle in Cameroon. If Nigeria had a president who respects international law, all the killings in Cameroon would have been limited. As a Cameroonian, I pray Obi wins.

Honestly, West Africa is always portrayed in a very negative light, but when you really look at where it is today, it has had quite a lot of achievements not seen in other parts of the world. For example, Nigeria's democratic story is still quite remarkable, and it is currently in the process of strengthening its democratic institutions and culture. The same is true for Senegal and other West African nations such as Ghana. The Arabs look down upon Black Africans, but when you look at women's rights, democratic representation and some growth figures, Africa is actually improving more than the Middle East does.
I got chills watching this
It is interesting to see the politics of so many countries, the USA included, has become so linked to conflicts in interests between age demographics
The democracy in Nigeria is very important, because the pleople choose a person for them represent. Around 93 million voters the challenge of pulling off Nigeria's presidential elections.
It’s core hard reality !!!hope it be eye opener for rest of the world.
Kidnapping is not a billion naira venture in Nigeria but a multi trillion naira venture. That’s why most politicians including the Governors are angry at the President for the current monetary policies that has limited the availability of cash, encouraging cashless economy with positive implications on insecurity and economic advancement
Vote selling was also an issue in Indian democracy. But i guess now that problem has almost gone away. Now because of high political polarization we have vote bank politics.
I just pray there isn’t a coup. That’s the worst thing that can happen.
Christians in Southern Nigeria are being oppressed. They deserve freedom

My grandparents on my father's side are Nigerian, let's hope the country wakes up and votes for change.

4:47 to 4:50 is footage from a place located in Ghana, even though the subject is Nigerian politics and elections. I continue to have serious problems with Western storytelling about Africa. Also, I'm surprised the usage of imagery of poverty and misery as starting points in discussing African politics is still very popular.
