No one is expecting Nepal to qualify Nepal for the World Cup, and no one is expecting us to win the AFC Asian Cup. At least perform well against fellow Asian countries. We can't just sit here and say football is a harder sport to grow. Could you possibly improve your FIFA ranking from 173 to 150? Conversely, the Cricket team of Nepal has been a promising team, playing well against big guns.

cricket players qualified for wcup ofc their salary should be much better than of football. Being said that football is a much much tougher sport. Almost every country plays football and generates the most revenue in any sport. Qualifying for asian cup would be equivalent to qualifying for the cricket wcup in my opinion. However, these two sports should not be compared and treated on their success but rather encouraged and funded side by side. Day by day i lose non existential hope for the sports in my country. Hope this spark of cricket radiates to all sports and government for once take sports seriously.
