iM is unironically NAVI's best player individually post major. And he isn't playing any better than he was before the major. I don't know what happened to NAVI; it's like they sold their soul to win that major. Every single player apart from iM came out of the major worse than they ever were since this project started.

I mean it was a fluke major because they all peaked. It’s like 2018 c9 again where stuff just line up so perfectly. Realistically blade was right, the team should have never won the major and they were not ready for it. Post major they came right back to earth and now they are dealing with the exact issues they had pre major

@@sentryion3106 Except they aren't. Before the major, while they weren't contenders, they performed individually far better than they are now. They were the most stable Top 5 team at the time and made consistent showings. Like I said, every player on NAVI right now has never been worse individually since joining NAVI (apart from iM who is about the same). It's sort of inexplicable because they clearly didn't regress as a team; they just stopped hitting shots.

Under current circumstances, I see no way simple can return to CS2. Most CIS teams contain russian players which simple will have to avoid due to current world situation, the other international teams don't necessarily need an awper right now, NAVI has just won the major and the team chemistry is so good that they don't really want simple to return to potentially ruin the team chemistry, and simple's ego is too big for him to stomache the prospect of joining a tier-2 squad. There is only 1 scenario I can see simple returning to CS2. With Cadian probably out of the team liquid in the offseason, if somehow liquid decides to spend 1.5 million to convince broky to play with his countryman yekindar and his former teammate/good friend twistzz, and broky somehow decides to agree on this massive contract. Then in this case, there would be a spot on faze that opens up to simple and would be almost the best scenario for him to return back to CS2. Simple spoke very highly before about faze players (specifically ropz and rain), and karrigan would be the best igl to bring simple back to his previous glory.

With broky, you know you will have a relatively good team chemistry because yekindar is his countryman and twistzz played with him for almost 3 years (broky was twistzz's twitch channel moderator FYI) Plus, you know he is a solid awper that can hit shots most of the time and clutch up rounds sometimes. With simple, you don't know what kind of simple you will be getting, will it be the "goat" simple or will it be the "washed" simple and you don't know if simple will cause big damage to the team chemistry (liquid let simple go in the first place due to bad team chemistry). And I can guarantee you that simple won't be costing less than broky. All in all, if liquid were to pick an awper out of broky and simple, I see them more likely to go with broky instead of simple, especially with yekindar and twistzz probably having the most say on team liquid.

It was clear G2 should've replaced nexa the day they signed him. He isn't even a bad player. He just doesn't work on G2 and never will. huNter, you keep since he's basically what nexa is but better. Get yourself a jks, put HooXi into a retirement home, and fill out the remaining spot. Suddenly, G2's an actual Top 3 contending team.

s1mple wont be coming back to cs2 before the shanghai major im pretty sure of that. 1. His ego is too high (he thinks he is still HIM and wont accept teams he considers "shit teams") 2. His stock has already divebombed beyond belief. People often say FPL games or Faceit games dont mean shit. Fact of the matter, it actually means shit. If you cant even carry your FPL or Faceit pugs, dont expect to carry officials that you havent had for like a year. (His bo3 on Falcons should show you an indication of his level in real officials) 3. No non-shit teams are going to take a the biggest risk of their lives by paying their kidneys and livers to sign someone who ISNT HIM but acts like he is still HIM. Lastly, im not a simple hater, i do want him back in the scene. he brings alot of spice and if he plays up to his GOAT level, its going to make everything even more exciting to watch.
