I’m not a Knicks fan but it’s nice to see how aggressive they’ve been with building this squad. They realized what they have and decided to go the extra mile. They’re now competitive and marketable. Normally I would say this was too many picks for an above average player, but I think this time it might be worth it. If it all crumbles in a couple years they have more than enough talent to get at least a couple picks back. I see it as a win/win

Right there is resale value to recoup those picks.. and also these next five years 90% chance our picks never go below 20th overall so we basically just sent over 6 2nd round picks. Either way what on earth r the knicks gonna do with all those picks besides mess it up. This knicks team top to bottom is maybe the most likeable team in the nba for neutrals. Except randle I guess. As a knicks fan i love this team already on another level the melo knicks. The fact we added mikal bridges is just so so so perfect its worth the picks 100000% dude will play 82 games and average 42 mins and be happier than a pig in shit😅

Also everyone will be in the league another 7/8 years on the team. No one over 29 and only 2 guys are 29. All can defend, all can shoot. It's a very well built team and we can move someone for picks if needed

So many of the picks are also all likely going to be in the late 20s too. Definitely would rather have rotational guys to make a run now than hold on to that 25th pick in 2029.

I'm looking forward to seeing Phoenix-like Bridges again. Him and OG would be the wing version of White and Jrue.

Bridges being happy and familiar means first all star appearance . Yes , you heard me right , Brunson being around his buds did it for him and it will happen to Bridges .

Knicks had a chance to level up and they leveled up. Added value - they ruined the market for others.

The fact that four out of five games on your team has success in college. They have a familiarity that will permeate through that locker room. That team will be more cohesive and more together than they’ve ever been. And signing bridges who’s better than Oobi got two years left on his deal and is a better player can do what he does and his coachable and doesn’t miss games! The Knicks will be a far better team next year!

This is gonna be a fun team. Melo Knicks had moments but the ball didn't move at times. They currently have quality across the board

Not only that Rusillo but the Celtics defended at every position. Switch and stretch. Bridges can score and defend. Onunoby, Bridges, and Hart are great defensive grit players. Where does Randle fit in given Brunsons need to dominate thr ball?

OG is a defensive specialist and a shooter, why are you focused on points, rebounds and assists? When healthy, he's a dog that can guard 1-5. Bridges trade is about adding talent and a major cultural fit. He's one kf the better 3 and D guys in the league that can score, it doesn't matter how many all star games he doesn't have lol.
