Former NBA Assistant Coach bringing that Pistol Offense with him, I like it.
That last possession was amazing. So much confidence and poise. Pro teams could learn a thing or two.
You know Michigan is legit when Chaundee Brown Jr wasn't even mentioned once. This team is unreal. Thanks for another great video, Jordan!

Good stuff hoopvision, I've watched every minute of every game and I still feel like I'm getting a fresh look and a better understanding from you. Keep it up.
Love getting a notification of a new video. The amount of detail that’s put in every video 🔥
Cant believe I just found this channel. As a coach in Omaha Nebraska I love everything the channel brings and it's making me a better coach thank you
The best break down I have seen so far.
Awesome breakdowns especially for hoop heads and former coaches!! 🙏🏿💯
Great video man! Livers and Wagner are easily the two most underrated scorers in the big-tem, hell in the country for that matter. They get alot of praise for their defense, with Wagner being one of the best at team d by using his length and the athleticism to get a bunch of steals and blocks, while Livers is def the better at on the ball defending - and can effectively shut down everyone from a SG to a PF because of the fact he's almost as long and athletic as Wagner while also having better foot-speed and strength/toughness. Because they have such a balanced offensive attack, these two guys PPG average doesn't come close to doing them justice with regards to how unstoppable they can be. Both get a ton of credit for one facet of their offensive skill while not getting any on the other aspects of their game. Wagner is praised for his slashing capability, but is a deadly outside shooter as well, and Livers is know for being a great shooter, but he also a great slasher off the dribble combined with being an unstoppable post scorer against the other teams SF's or even their PF's, (though he usually gets merely one or two times per game to demonstrate as much). The coverage other is very reminiscent of past great Wolverines, Tim Hardaway Jr and Stauskas. Both of who were way more than simply great shooters, in fact during that 2013 year Hardaway Jr may have been even better at driving to the hoop than he was at shooting it. Unfortunately Beilein's offense was extremely stagnant and involved a lot of passing the ball around way behind the three point line and alot of PG dribbling the ball around, with little to zero post-up opportunities despite having Mitch McGary. This lead to a promotion of three point shooting as well as Burke doing the majority of the shooting, and both Hardaway Jr and Stauskas never were able to demonstrate just how well rounded their offensive skill-set was. To this day i still think they would have won it all if they had instead a pass-first PG like Mike Smith or Derrick Walton Jr. Anyways, This team's top three, Livers, Dicksenon, and Wagner - may not be as good as the top three players for Gonzaga and Baylor, but there's no denying that they are deeper and are at least every bit as well-rounded offensively, combined with being better defnesinvely to boot!

@@roboticismRus Wished that were the case man. I mean, as you could see by my ridiculously long comment, i'm big fan of his. He could be, great on d, great shooter, while also being athletic enough to go by his man to the hoop every once in a while. I'd love to see him have success here in Detroit
I watch your videos over and over and over and...love it
That Iowa coach was SALTY! 😂
Tremendous work Jordan.
Great video! Big Michigan fan here

Great video
Can you do a break down on Bellarmine basketball? New to D1 this season.
Look at my Michigan family going off. Forever a Wolverine!!!
Great stuff. Go Blue!
is the last play strategy pistol?
I've been on them early and often, think we'll win it all. Good is an under statement.
do you think the minnesota game is an outlier or are they potentially susceptible to heavy post denial in tournament play?
@blomeup2day
3 жыл бұрын
I think if they were still susceptible to low post entry problems, Michigan would have lost more games since Minnesota. The level of scouting in the big ten is elite. Hunter struggled after the Minnesota game, but the team appears to have solved the entry passes and the hard doubles.

Remember also that Minnesota was playing really good ball at home back then. They crushed Ohio State in their previous home game before Michigan. Eli Brooks also missed that game. Just one of those games that happens sometimes, and seems to have served to refocus the team.

@@user-og3ew6fo9v zags and baylor both being undefeated makes that loss seem worse than it is, but the reality is that over the course of 20+ games against extremely strong competition there will be a night or two where things just don't go your way.
Notice how the offense is constantly moving creating breakdowns on defense. Well coached and prepared.
You should do a March Madness predictions video before the tournament begins! 💯

The. contest is now getting Chet Holmgren & Jaden Hardy if U-M., wins this NCAA-B.B. Championship they should most definitely jump on board. GoBlue!!!!
We can do it
I think it’s going to come down to them and Gonzaga.
Anything can happen in march, never really know.

Lets not forget bout there defense too.
They are great. They are a contender. That being said I think GU and BU are better slightly. None of those defenses he showed could match up or knew how to cover Michigan.
Look at UNC win vs FSU walker kessler 20 and 8 with 4 blocks
Getting smashed by ASU by almost what 30pts., Michigan has to work on its offensive prophesy. Always Goblue🤘🏼!
In ur opinion
Aka Miami offense
Music is way too loud!
And just a year later, Juwan is on the edge of getting fired 😬 shit happens quick
Maybe Brad Underwood watched this and implemented a defense that completely made it fall apart

The Illini throughly enjoyed Michigan's elite offense
Obviously...
Illinois watched this video

While Michigan does have one of the stronger schedules in the country, I think many people still overlook the ease of their B10 schedule. Sure when this was made they had 1 bad loss to MN, and since lost to Illinois, but when looking at Q1 record, a lot of highly ranked B10 teams had a considerable amount more Q1 games with a similar amount of wins. If Michigan had to play 12 Q1 games like Illinois I doubt they go the record they have now. Is Michigan elite, yes. Are they national contenders, or even B10 contenders given the strength of the B10 this year, probably not.
I-L-L !
Lol
It feels like every time Michigan lose their fans will say “It was a outlier” “ It was just a bad game” couldn’t any team in the damn top 25 say the same whenever they lose????
@jammy2542
3 жыл бұрын
It was an outlier. 2 losses in the entire season, it was very clearly an off night. And no, not any top 25 team can say that because it's not rare for them to lose.
@Nostalgic_07

you sound dumb they won the conference...
god i hope not lol
No,did u see the Illinois game?go zags
Go Illini !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I’ve seen is michigan talk shit about the Illinois game like” oh we gonna roll past y’all” then they get rolled and say it was just a “bad game”, then the mfs say Michigan is still better because Illinois had 6 loses. Way to turn around your own logic, good one.
The offbeat female cosmetically telephone because swamp yearly appear but a three body. separate, ill-informed airmail
Doubtful....like the Zags. Play one “off” game and you’re bumped in the Tournament.
LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR, ILLINOIS FINISHED THE BIG TEN WITH 16-4 RECORD AND MICHIGAN FINISHED ONE HALF GAME BEHIND AT 14-3. ILLINOIS WINS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP. IF THEY ARE NOT SEEDED #1 IN THE BIG TEN TOURNEY. THEY SHOULD SIT OUT THE TOURNAMENT. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS.
