Why Michelin Defender 2 and X tour A/S 2 have Traction B instead of the old Rating of Traction A ?

My old Michelin Defender and X Tour A/S has Traction A. Any one know the reason Why it is down grade to B on the new version recently?

    Cost What does traction A and temperature B mean on tires? UTQG | Yokohama Tire Temperature resistance indicates how a tire mainly performs in high-speed situations. The temperature ratings are A, B and C. Tires with a rating of A will be able to perform at speeds above 115 mph, while tires with a B rating are able to perform at speeds between 100-115 mph.

    Agreed but the trend design seems similar when I compared the Original design vs the "2" but may be the rubber material is different now. Thanks for the comment and thank you for watching.
