But I wanted to find the purpose of life because I knew everything we worked for would pass away. So I started to look into all the religions to see if christianity was even really the ultimate truth. Later on opened up the Bible and saw the Jesus people talked about was completely different from what was in the Bible. I started to draw closer to the higher power and had a supernatural encounter with him and I felt the most love and peace and was truly indescribable and out of this world, and nothing i've ever felt from then on and never will tbf will come close to that experience, but I was shocked because I wasn't expecting this encounter, so I went up to my balcony and everything looked brand new like it was the first time seeing the nature when I looked outside. Almost like a new born and it was like it was so detailed . Every time I used to go outside it looked so boring and mundane and natural but this time that all changed, and I’m here to tell you it’s about a relationship not religion and he is real and did die on the cross for you willingly and thinks you as the only person and was thinking of you while dying.

Fulfilling one’s holy book’s “end of times” scenario does not legitimize your faith or religion. It negates it. You can’t just set about to attempt to make your preferred prophecy true yourself. That proves it a fraud, not truth. 🤦‍♀️ I , like you I can see, could never understand how deeply religious people reconcile that in themselves; they say their religion is an absolute, their holy book the word of God and comes directly from God. God gives them commandments, things they must not do according to their God. One states, “Thou shalt not kill.” Then someone puts a gun in their hand and off they run screaming “For God and country!’” To go kill a bunch of people they do not know and have no problem with on a personal level. How do they never catch a whiff of that hypocrisy?
