Quick note for a hotel if anything is labeled a **service fee** it often looks like a tip on receipts but the hotel just keeps it. Hotels are also notorious for tip theft, tipping your person with cash in their hands is the only way to insure that they get it. Hotels are a racket.

I show up looking like Adam Sandler when I go to the gym 😂

If the service is REALLY bad, I tip like 5-10 cents. I guarantee that a 5 cent tip is way more insulting than giving them nothing at all.

I've been to all types of gyms and yes the gym wear has upgraded. Which, in my opinion is all swell. Its just part of the saying, if you look good you will feel good. This is more prevalent with bodybuilding/powerlifting gyms vs commercials.

I doubt yall will see this, but I got a question. If you’re someone who normally doesn’t eat at a nice restaurant and you want to save up to go with your family or by yourself, should you also save up for the tip?

When I tip I just round up to the nearest 5th that I deem reasonable. If the bill is $15 I'll make it $20. If it's $38 I'll go to $50. You get the idea

I’m starting to go back to the standard of 10 percent tip if I’m not asking for anything specific or making the server do a lot.

The gym I work at is very know on social media and I be STRUGGLING not to look. They be looking so well built tho, too hard man.

Went to the gym once and there was a sign at the entrance that said "the heaviest weight is the gym door" so I turned around.

Tipping is definitely getting out of hand. Places even have non negotiable tips when you order from their own website. Why am I going to tip someone who only decides to ask me if I want more water when I ask for the bill. You have the entire 30-45 minutes while I was eating to ask me but you decided not to. And yes I tipped 15% before all you 🤡 get your panties in a bunch for servers who go above and beyond.

I tip 25-30% for amazing service, 20% for decent service, 15% for sub-par, and then 10-0% for anything below. Also used to serve as well, some servers are trying their best, but may not meet your definition of good service ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. To each their own though. I also don’t eat anywhere where 2 dishes = $300 hahahaha that might be a baller problem.

when David went to the gym; the climate there sounds like a nightclub (VIP bottle service). What ?!?! If I went to a gym, back in the day, I would just wear my sh#tty/ratty a$$ clothes, with holes in them (that will get sweat on it anyway): my choices were either: free weights and aerobics (Jane Fonda workout home videos; Richard Simmons' Sweatin' To The Oldies / Deal-A-Meal plans; Jazzercise) = I went with the free weights (without a personal trainer); barbells, dumbells, pec and leg press types... along with bodybuilders who are grunting after each rep.

I tip 20%. If the service is trash, I'll tip less, like 10%. And if it's above average, I tip over 20. I couldn't not tip. I'd feel bad.

20% is the minimum. Servers live off tips. Of course bad service doesn’t deserve much or sometimes anything at all, but to willingly leave 15% and act like shit is sweet, thats bogus.

I felt so bad the whole time you guys were talking about tipping because being american but having always lived in europe, I don’t tip. I was in the US for 2 months this summer and I rarely tipped, never went up to 20 that’s for sure, but the people were always really nice ! Doesn’t help that I’m already frugal… They probably thought that I was being mean 🥲

Men work out strictly to attract women because as soon as guys get serious with one woman, they stop working out. 😂
