On top of that, the MeToo Movement wasn’t around then and a few bad guys that women may have encountered didn’t ruin it for everyone. I don't know why people keep saying men are afraid of rejection. I've been rejected plenty of times by jobs, colleges, credit cards, and women. There is a difference between kindly rejecting someone, and flat-out insulting, or accusing them of being a creepy predator.

It doesnt matter what close proximity you are in, women seem to be masters at ignoring men and not giving them the time of day. I was in a coffeeshop earlier today in London and a woman came down to sit next to me as there was only one seat left. I said hello, which she ignored, she then proceeded to put her earphones in and take her novel out of her bag and proceeded to read it as if I didnt exist. I then got up and asked the barista to put my coffee in a takeaway cup and I left. I just felt sad inside if im honest. Its those little losses that add up over time.

I've stopped approaching women. I can only speak for myself, but the last 3 women that i have approached in the space of 14 months love to play games. I knew all 3 women liked me as i got told by their friends. But all 3 times, i heard the same thing it was like they were all related. They all said, " im seeing someone now." I dont chase women i attract. Nothing turns me off quicker than a woman who plays hard to get. Flip the script around for a minute. Would any woman be interested in building a potential relationship with a guy based on lies and manipulation? No, they would not, but they expect us to. The bottom line is, fellas, stay on your grind and keep levelling up. I've learned to treat my attention that I give women like currency. I don't give it away so freely now. A lot of women are also intimated by a solid guy because of their own insecurities. I've seen plenty of girls bragging on social media how her and her friends turned down every guy that approaches them or being annoyed and saying how they can't go out with their girls without getting hit on. And then later they're the same ones complaining how there are no good men out there.

The success rate is just too low for the time and effort you have to put in. Why keep ringing the bell at doors that will remain closed. Just pay a pro to get your biological needs met and carry on with all other aspects of your life. Life is much more than women. I'd rather focus on leaving this world at least 1% better than I entered it.

Not trying to be a hater or anything but the vast majority of women are NOTHING to look at without makeup.

I stopped years ago. I kinda just stopped caring. The surprising part for me was that I'm not lonely at all. I have friends and I can just go have a couple beers with them if I want to.

My teenage years stemmed from the 80s and it was a different time. I was shy and socially awkward as a kid, still found it difficult to socialise in uncomfortable situations and barely approached women. Luckily the relationships/connections I did have with women was more 50-50, if I knew she was interested, otherwise I wouldn't bother at all. Back then most women would give you hints and signs like steering often and smiling, which gave me a little confidence to approach. Nowadays it seems much tougher and alot of the women are more ruthless in rejecting any potential suitors, with all the reasons that you mentioned, I wouldn't like to be a young man in this current dating market.

So true, my British friend. So true. I think Instagram, social media in general, dating apps, and simps have made women as obnoxious as they are. Women get so much attention, they take on a belief that they are queens. I play rock guitar as a busker in the town square. When I launch into a beautiful solo, women will start dancing in front of me, taking selfies, smiling at me, etc. But, when I'm just a regular Joe in the coffee shop, I get the "angry face".

I got tired of all of the unwanted, useless, irrelevant and downright insulting advice that people gave me about how to get girls.

There's always the risk of getting thrown or perceived as creepy or weird or making a woman feel uncomfortable When approaching her, even when the man never wanted to hurt anyone. I'm sure there are a portion of women out there who do call men creepy or perceive men as creepy just for approaching them only just because they just were not interested or never were attracted to those men in the first place and that I can easily accept and understand and move on from easily. But there are men who do get labeled creepy even though those men had good intentions going into the interaction and they still caused the woman to feel uncomfortable or feel awkward. That angers me and pisses me off a lot because it's another reminder that it's only men that have to be the one to be socially calibrated or just have social intuition women can get away with not having any social calibration because women never risk having their awkwardness being perceived as weird or creepy when interaction with the other sex but men do unfortunately and yet people still think men have a better than women do

They did it to themselves. I'm in my 40s. I remember a time when it was normal to honk your horn when you were riding and you see a nice looking woman. They would wave. It wasn't like you were going to make the block to try to go and talk to her. It was just an acknowledgement that she looked nice and the wave was an appreciation of that acknowledgement. Somewhere between then and now, that same honk is seen as harassment and a threat. You can't even speak to some women without them giving you the stank face.

I don't know if women ever liked men. I think they just dated them in the past for men's resources. These days women have their own money so they don't have to use a man anymore.

It's not just fear of rejection, it's fear of the eventual consequences if she doesn't reject you. It's the only time when winning is a potential loss. So non-participation becomes a solid and valid choice. If loosing is insulting or embarrassing, and winning can lead to serious long-term consequences, actually doing nothing becomes a legitimate decision.

I tossed women aside and focused on personal goals, and I've never been happier. I dropped 4 stones and have become financially secure and have a lot of brilliant hobbies I'm able to indulge in. 👍💪💪

Fear of rejection us nothing new and has been the burden of men from the beginning, or at least since the end of arranged marriages. So this can't be and is not the problem. The problem is the NATURE of rejection today. A polite no is all we can ever ask of a woman if we just don't do it for her. What else can she do? But today there is far more potential for anything from cruelty/public ridicule -- in person or, worse, online via hidden camera -- to job loss or even arrest for approaching while ugly.

These days, I look at them… They stare at me & that’s where it ENDS! Ay NOBODY rejectin me for self validation/ ego boost (especially backwards when it’s OBVS they’re attracted to).

I got rejected a few times in the last 4 or 5 Months. Average looking 64 year old here with a pretty good build at 5'9". My Late Girlfriend- Patti was a good woman though. She passed in 2017.

I WAS never afraid of rejection as I'm an average looking man. HOWEVER, today, after 3 years of continually hearing "no", matching with women who don't acknowledge my messages even though they say contact matches within 24 hours, getting the majority of my "likes" from 60+ year old women, this is what has made me give up. If they not feeling me, it takes a toll on you. Women that are "chunky" even turn down brothers. I even tried dating other races and they not feeling me, so I guess I have to wait until my next like to find companionship.

Yeah, it's depressing when I'd like to start a family; but, only get messages/likes from 55 yr old and up women....

I loathe it so bad... Women don't realize how brutal they can be when you're just trying to show interest... If I can name 2 things that are in my most hated list of all time, this would be 1 of 2... The other one is anybody's guess

This is why i decided come off social media and dating apps and just work and gym and even when in gym il even avoid looking at woman incase i end up on tick tok

I went out clubbing yesterday in Central London after ages. I generally don't approach anymore due to the reasons in the video but thought I'd just try and get my confidence (the old me) back and just make an effort. Probably not the best opener and was just doing it to 'warm up' but I asked a woman if she's from Sweden (looked Swedish). She shook her head and had a wtf/look of disgust on her face and in 2 seconds her and all her friends vacated the area where they were standing. I tried again later with another girl tapping her on her shoulder to ask a question. As soon as she turned around and I went a bit closer to ask she kept moving back (her head). I tried to go closer to talk so she could hear me and she kept moving her head back till i finally managed to ask when a certain DJ is on. Then she was like 'oh'. 3am. So she basically saw my ugly ass face and assumed I was trying it on with her. I'm pretty much done with approaching. Had similar sort of experiences my whole life.

i approached one, she got my coffee right and gave the correct change. it's quite safe if you keep your distance don't make eye contact and keep it short. life should be full of that which brings pleasure. no irrational hysterical drama queen needed.

Alright, I'll agree with this to some degree in certain settings like the gym. With humilty and more for context. I am objectively attractive, tall, in shape and large at about 270lb standing at 6'2". At my gym. A random girl keeps looking my way and showing choosing signals. So finally, after week #3. I give in and with great apprehension go and engage some small talk. I say apprehension because in my experience. Girls in settings like the gym like to use guys like me as sort of a validation button. (Get the big, tall, attractive guy to appproach you and then turn him down rudely in front of the other girls to show what a bad bisch they are)... Anyways, I approached and as soon as I did. Her whole demeanor changed from "come talk to me" to "I am busy can we hurry this up" 😅 So, if any other guys are reading this that struggle in MOST settings. Just know from the attractive guys pov. It is still very hard, and with every success, we have to go through 20 unnecessary weird insecurity, validation girls. Anyway, I began to just pretend like the girl doesn't exist. And guess what. She has again begun to orbit my locations at the gym and position herself every time so her spandex butt is ALWAYS "conveniently" facing me 🎉 It's like a venus flytrap at this point and I shan't be fooled again. Only advice to you boys out there. Only appprach if she is making it super obvious and showing HEAVY choosing signals. If you're second guessing whether you should approach. That is your sign she isn't interested and save yourself the trouble of putting yourself through a more than usual horrible experience lol

I mean the worst I heard was No I'm good, I have a boyfriend, or I just got out of a relationship and not looking for one right now. If I heard one of those 3 I left it at that and kept it movin. But even if you just complimenting a woman all they have to do is say thank you and keep it movin too. I’ve been very lucky in my life with women, and never had a problem getting pretty much any woman I ever wanted. Period I totally agree with this. I don’t approach women at all anymore and I haven’t for several years. If a girl doesn’t give me a greenlight in some kind of way I don’t even remotely waste my time or even acknowledge her. It’s not worth it anymore and social media has totally ruined women because all these weak guys on the Internet are blowing so much smoke up their asses they think they’re a 10 even if they are a 4/5/6/7 range. Not to mention the mindset of the younger girls nowadays it’s just not appealing. There’s no depth or passion to anything they do or say anymore and most of us successful men don’t have don’t want to or don’t even have the energy to put up with their mouth.
