Why Me? | Iman Cave with Sh. Abdullah Oduro

Yaqeen’s Ramadan series Why Me? portrayed the life of a person from birth to death. While the challenges the character faced may have been situational, the lessons are universal, particularly in the context of reflecting on faith-rooted masculinity. Join Sh. Oduro in the Iman Cave with Why Me? actors Nouman Farooq and Mohammad Ayachi as they reflect on their roles in the series and themes of father-son relationships, aggression, leaving a legacy, and submitting to Allah.

I’m so hopeful for more men to have groups and get back to true masculinity. That is the only way relationships will last and our generations will be more healthy. Women can’t do all the heavy lifting in their groups and within themselves. Each one needs their own groups and growth for healthy outlets. May Allah facilitate for the men in our ummah. Ameen.

Salam alaikum brothers I remember spending nights in hospital by my child having chronic asthma. It broke my heart. When he was a young man driving I found cigarettes in the car, I was sad and angry, I broke them all in half. I told my two boys I can't watch you die young from lung cancer please don't do this to me. It would be a test I couldn't pass. Alhamdulillah they stopped smoking and are now married with their own babies now.

I reconciled with my dad after my first son was born. Only then did I understand the heavy responsibility he carried and what he tried to do. As our relationship grew he was my biggest fan: always supportive; no questions asked

Mums only ask 101 questions is because she wants to communcate to. All her life shes spent...knowing what and when you eat, sleep, shower, go to school...everything. then all of a sudden he is grown she dont know nothing because hes independant. So when asks she just wants that reasurrance that...1 my son is ok...2 indirectly saying ur still my son and im here for you. I see this with my mum 63 and brother 45. I agree with everything that was said about having humility and giving your parents the chance until it got to the end. Some parents are just hard to deal with, it's a real challenge and at the same time it hurts to be rude and dismissive towards your parents. There are parents that have no idea why they need to be responsible and kind,i guess that's why the child needs to be Excellent towards them.

Is the biography of Prophet (PBUH) by sheikh Muhammad al-Khudari Bak al-Bajuri good? The name of the book is Noorul Yaqeen Fi Siratul Sayyidil Mursaleen. I came across a translation of this book in my native language (Malayalam). Since I have no seerah books, I am of the intention to buy this book. Please reply. Thank you for your time.

Not all fathers can you have a conversation with them and will they acknowledge ur emotions. Some fathers treat their kids as enemies and competition and are narcissistic and you wont be able to have that convo with them until youm al qiyama. Forgive and move on but dont but urself at risk of being rejected again and feeling worse if thars the case
