Yes but they are coated on the inside as well as any aluminum canned foods. This provides a barrier from the food absorbing toxicity from the metal. Also a reason to avoid buying dented cans regardless of a sealed can, the inner barrier can be ripped exposing the contents to the toxicity ​@@Bminutes

@@ItzPaydayFellas not necessarily. Most food adds are made using inedible ingredients so they look perfect and never wilt, sweat, etc. so the odds are it would be impossible to make it look the same.

Not too mention those aluminum tanks are co2 tanks. Carbonated tanks that scales the ratio to get a perfect blend of syrup and carbonation the water filtration system is legit the same as other fast food restaurants. The only main difference is the co2 tanks.

Nest filtration system? That's if the filters are changed every 3 months

As someone in the U.K. I don’t get this they barely put any syrup in the coke in our McDonalds

Also mcdonalds corporate pays for a different formula that has more sugar and syrup in in.

So you can afford good filtration for Coke but not the ice cream machine but you can't afford to fix the ice cream machine like can you just buy a new one insted of buying a filter for just coke

All McDonald's must use the "Taylor" branded ice cream machine because of the McDonald's Corporations long-term deal with the Taylor business. Taylor, likely knowing that McDonald's will not close their exclusivity agreement, made the machines both expensive to maintain, expensive to repair, and most importantly, impossible to diagnose personally. Meaning when we need the machine fixed, we call a Taylor tech that can easily charge over $100 an hour for their "expertise." Mutually annoying, all McDonald's Ice cream machines enter a heat cycle once-a-day, which, if the machine is not filled enough, or filled too much, will cause it to fail said heat cycle. This renders the machine unusable until it has been cleaned by a maintenance person. This is likely why the machine is down.

@@havenselph Listen here Haven. Everything you just posted is severely incorrect. Taylor machines are preferred, but not the only option for restaurants. Carpigiani is the other option. The machines can be repaired by anyone certified to work on them, that could be a Taylor technician or even an in-house technician. The machines are not hard to diagnose at all. I work on them, even someone not trained can figure it out. Finally, Taylor technicians are professional and will do their job as fast as they can. Just a second bit, even though it does have to go through a heat cycle every day, it's usually programmed in the middle of the night to not affect business at all. Not to mention the fill area is very lenient of how high and low it should be.

I heard Coca-Cola had a partnership with McDonald's going back decades when gets them certain batches.

If you allow a restaurant to put ice in your drink, you're getting scammed out of 50% of that cup's capacity. Think about it, you could be getting 100% more drink for the same price, but you don't. My McDonald's is shitty in general so that's probably why, but their coke always tastes weird. Not better, actually worse, but most of all straight up odd.

Those tanks don't hold Coke, they hold water and carbon dioxide under intense pressure causing the water molecules to combine with carbon dioxide molcules. Once they leave the tanks pressuerized atmosphere Carbon Dioxide again begins to return to a gas escaping the water. They are pumped through nozzles that two houses connect to one has, you guessed it Coke syrup and the other house carbonated water.
