Not all just can't imagine to compete. Sometimes colleges like Amity do have great minds. It's just not all great minds get chance to secure seat in top colleges( reason could be anything). But judging someone just because of his college name and throwing his resume in Trash without analysing his skills, knowledge and experience is totally insane.

Agreed that IIMs have better faculties, syllabus, case studies, network, alumni, selection criteria, limited seats etc. BUT we can't ignore the simple fact that the economy is like a pyramid; there are only a few high-paying jobs; Just think that a person who has 98 percentile gets admission in IIM. But a guy with 97 percentile, is he so less intelligent, so less deserving? Secondly, if someone is not so intelligent, does he not deserve a good college, good faculty? Why should every youth not have access to quality education and decent jobs?

Not a chance! If everyone gets admitted into these prestigious institutes then their value will degrade A LOT. Not everyone works hard for their dreams, so not everyone deserves them.

You can grow upto 20-25 or more per annum after 5 years even after joining from a tier-3 college and starting from 3.5 Lpa. Engineering is still better as it gives you direct employment when compared to other branches. MBA is only worth doing from top B-schools as the fee is huge ~ 20 lacs for the course and the ROI is a big factor.

Degrees from IITs and IIMs are certificate of hardwork, dedication and intelligence, thats why they get better opportunities at starting stage of their career but a person comming from shit school has to prove these qualities while working in shit position at start. But hardwork, dedication and talent always wins, nobody can stop these people. I have seen people comming from top universities doing scams and people comming from shit school doing super good for this world and humanity.

Sad to say but foreign universities are far better than ours in term of study and to learn something from there. Also the admission process are faar better than ours. top colleges takes lot of fees so they tend to convince companies to hire there students , they are still making lot of money so its not about good b school its all about the money u put in these colleges to get return 20 lakhs = 14-15 lakh max avg ctc

Agreed.... The thing is management students have a tendency to take things in a lighter manner. They are always casual about their education. Especially in private B schools. 🙂

@@sahilsaxena8622 That’s the problem with most youth today. They don’t want to develop skills, but needs big packages. Work in a small company for 15 to 20k salary per month. After 2 yrs switch to big company with good package. Average MBA costs 20 to 30 Lakhs for 2 yrs. Average salary of MBA graduate is 8 to 10 lakhs. A MBA graduate would require atleast 3 years to recover the cost of the course. If you start a small job of 2.5 lakhs and then switch to 10 lakhs package after 2 yrs. at the end of 5 yrs your net income would be 35 lakhs, but for an MBA graduate it will be 0. That’s simple maths. He will be in profit after 5 yrs.

Kyunki unreputed clgs apne bachon ko placement dilwane ke liye kaafi gir jaate hai aur kuch bi karte hai as a marketing use karne ke liye other ways reputed clgs already aise placement produce karchuke hote hai so they have the fear of loosing that reputation

Recently got placed in L&T i was from state government clg in electrical branch and i was planning for good b school 🎓

I think most of the graduates from different courses prefer mba after their graduation in other fields when they have no scope in their own field and 2 years of course can't make a person skillful. So placement of MBA is decreasing. I'm sorry if anyone hurts from my thoughts but in my university there are 60 students out of 80 who are graduate from engineering and other courses now persuing mba.

MBA is a gimmick degree in India.What the Business Schools do is that they charge lakhs of rupees fees per trimester for a MBA course from every student's parents in return of fulfilling the promise of providing them a job with decent salary.This is a huge problem for MBA students hailing from poor or even middle class families since they feel compelled to take huge amount of debts to pay their children's fees.To make things worse many of Indian MBA students remain unemployed due to the fact syllabi of Management colleges are cramming oriented not job oriented.
