He got booted from sky sports because he wasn't going with their bullshit agenda...He's a great man off the pitch too.

Love that guy....Matt is a true fighter and gentleman. Balls of steel and someone I'd be honoured to be in the trenches with.

He’s right about English strikers in the 90s, absolutely blessed with talent. And what a talent he was as well , remarkable footballer

Matts honesty regarding his career path was very informative. Club and the FA mentality was inextricably linked back in his playing career. They definitely held the position of power that dictated pretty much everything around where, who what happened to player's. As matt said, if he was around today, he would have a plethora of clubs scrambling for his signature. I still feel he was comfortable at the Saints which as he stated was of his own choosing, so if he's happy with that then that's fine, but my god, take a look at his highlights reel on KZread and then everyone realises his unquestionable ability as a brilliant footballer...

Odd logic at the end. £2k a week to £10k a week is a huge jump. Whereas £40k a week now already puts you in the millionaire bracket

I don't think he wanted a bigger club because they'd of expected big moments every game. So the added pressure. Also managers telling you how to play. He was happy to turn up every week. Be given a free roll to do what he wants and play how he wants. Not a bad thing. But an england manager looks at winners and who has ambition. He literally said he didn't play football to win trophies so why would an England manager pick him for tournaments. He was clearly good enough but when you need someone to step up I don't think he is the man that's why he wasn't selected

Matt didn’t get picked for England because he was an oddball that would have upset the comfort within every managers squad. And rightfully so in my opinion. He is an opinionated oddball (right or wrong) talented without a doubt, but an oddball nevertheless

What?? Only three starts for England?? A total travesty! Matt Le Tissier should be known as the Ibra of the 90's... "I wasn't in football to become rich"... to close the vid - 👍

just confirmed the opinion i already had on him to be honest, a bit of a strange individual that was just happy in his comfort zone without really having any ambition..
