I think one thing ppl don't appreciate about ppl who really live this life - ppl accept that prison or death are real endings for being in that world. It's not like they joyfully hurl themselves into jail cells for the shits and giggles - and they're not disconnected from reality to the point of expecting one of their guys to lock themselves up when they don't have to.

I don't have a dog in this race but personally i think anyone who really loved someone like a brother wouldn't want that person to destroy their life and the career they worked so hard to build.
