@@lobsteryeah5669 It's a problem with people focusing solely on Abyss clearing and only current content. They fail to look forward and prepare their accounts for what might come. It's good to identify when a character fills a niche your account lacks. That's future proofing.

@@DouglasSquash Iron Sting is her best 4 star weapon at the moment. The EM will increase her Hyperbloom damage and heals. 4 piece Thundering Fury works though I think the new set is better for her. Just stack as much Elemental Mastery as humanly possible.

@@nitinpatel2389 There's a difference between being bad and having potential. Kuki had potential when she released, but she was a bad unit at the time, same with Kokomi. A character's worth will always be determined by their environment.

@@michaelman90 It's really just a case of people being shortsighted and very willing to bandwagon when someone starts shitting on a character. Shinobu and Yoimiya and Kokomi all were never as unusable as they were made out to be. Prejudging then being obstinate and unwilling to consider possible alternatives has been the norm in the Genshin community. Think all the way back to Eula and Kazuha's release and even as far back as Ganyu. It doesn't end. It just repeats.

Fast forward to "Player Anxiety" and how we will never get any fleshed out endgame xD Meta doesn't matter, never will. Sad.

Hyperbloom reaction has no ICD on her ring. Since each bloom is its own entity. This substantially allows her to do way more reaction damage. Now she periodically does 60k damage or more since those hyperblooms can target multiple people it will sometimes do 120k damage but 60k is generally the limit against single target. I use her regularly in overworld as she is very comfy and is also not bad in Spiral Abyss.

i don't think i implied or said that hyperblooms interacted with ICD, because they don't, but it IS important to note that enemies will only take up to 2 instances of hyperbloom at a time so if you were to cast kuki's skill and hit like 7 bloom seeds with it, only 2 would actually cause damage to enemies but yuh

@@rickiesgucci4814 It is just the Gilded Dreams set with full EM. I have nearly 1000 EM on her. I also use Iron Sting.

idk bout meta and stuff but i paired her with xiao ever since she came out and 1) she provides constant healing which works well to counter xiao's recklessness 2) she provides a good amount of energy. not a lot, but good enough i love her and I'm glad she's being recognized now

I'm glad Kuki is on the banner with Candace, I was really wanting to pull for Candace before and I really like Kuki's design too.

Yeah, Kuki and Yae Miko feel like two units, that were designed with mechanics in mind that we now got with the Sumeru update. So we probably should keep that in mind when looking at new units and their oddities in their kits (here random EM scaling, that needed Dendro to make sense).

@@mischarowe People love to focus on the surface-level nonsense, too. Layla, the new 4* coming out? She's a cryo sword user who makes a shield, which basically acts as a passive cryo turret 24/7 (her burst adds to this). But before the details of her kit came out (more than her making a shield), people immediately hopped on how irrelevant Layla is... simply because Diona is already a cryo shielder, and Ayaka is a cryo sword user. That's it. No waiting for animation speed, elemental interactions, scaling stats. People love to sound smart or "not inhale copium," which in this day and age is just a catch-all for not being a debbie downer.

Dark Iron Sword on Kuki! Not that much numbers but the drip wins, and she can use it fully!

No one's ever mentioning this but she's pretty good with superconduct teams too. I've been using her for that ever since her release

I use her with Kaeya whose my main dps. Since his burst and Kuki's skill revolve around the character it provides pretty good damage!

Another great video! I think it was important to point out that Kuki wasn't that great before Dendro. Not that she was terrible, but doing so downplays just how good she is now that Dendro is released. She had quite the glow up in 3.0.

her kit makes so much sense with the denro hyberbloom react and she's the goat now!! the best hyberbloom character of the whole game

The moment i saw her scaling with EM, i knew exactly what to do... DPS Ayato with Collei to sprout the seeds, and Kuki to activate all of them at once for damage while still giving a decent heal, it's just so beautiful to watch

i pulled on kuki her first banner and i have used her in every single abyss ever since, shes an irreplacably good character for my teams. I currently use a Tighnari/Candace/Kuki/Collei Quickswap Hyperbloom team and its incredibly good

I love Shinobu getting notice, I've been running her with Hyperbloom for a while now I love that team Collei C3 as dendro Yelan Kuki Heizou being driver while also lowering hydro res

Im planning to run Candace as the Hydro applier and as a on field DPS on a Kuki hyperbloom. Hope it works....i really love Candace's design.

Gotta say, Tighnari as the driver for your kuki hyperbloom ends up spreading for Tighnari too. Xingqiu’s hydro application is too great that even alternating your xq procs between catk shots still works SO WELL.

I got her in the previous month banner and she is seriously one of the coolest healers and electro characters! I like her design and how you can quickly heal you and co-op players while damaging enemies

Kuki is my go-to electro unit for hyperbloom trigger. Her virtually 100% up-time skill and AOE, her EM scaling kit, and healing capability is difficult to replace at least on my case. She reminds me of Raiden as hyperbloom trigger but I think Kuki is better since she provides healing. I often use Ayato, Dendro MC, Kazuha (or Sucrose) , and Kuki.

I was Fortunate enough to Beleive wholeheartedly in My girl kuki from the very beginning and investing a full em build into her! I never felt she was bad and now she’s even more fun with dendro so im glad my faith in her payed off so well

I gave my Kuki my lvl 90 Dark Iron Sword. It's such a rare and special weapon that I really wanted to use it on someone, and Kuki seems like the best candidate.

I created a new account a few days ago to start fresh and so far I managed to get both Candace and kuki. Match made in heaven for a hyperbloom team.

As a Trav main i just got Kuki and Candace this banner and boy do i love playing them both,you see i run a comp i love to call "self-hyperbloom" with Dendro Trav as main DPS / Kazuha(support and swirler) OR Collei for extra dendro / Candace for hydro infusion on MC / Kuki for continuous electro applicaiton and hyperbloom triggers and trust me its the most fun i had with this game's combat in months. Just doing all the bursts and then going brrrr with MC is soo sooo satisfying when you see things melting in the front of your eyes. What pisses me off the most is ppl idiotically judging new characters without realizing they can't play the game without Benny even tho Benny was at his launch "the worst 4* in the game" simply cuz the aforementioned idiots didn't know his potential,same for Kuki and same for Candace now,ppl just don't know how to use them,tho i admit SOME characters are indeed bad like Thoma,he's likeable but he sucks ass.

I figured they had something up their sleeves when they gave not only Kuki, but also a 5 STAR EM scaling, especially with Dendro being right around the corner. Btw, you should totally do a Miko revisited video if you haven't already.

She has always in my team. Have her ever since I started playing in june during the itto banner. That was when I was AR 20 and now I'm AR45 and I still have her on my main team with heizou and she has never disappointed me. I've always wondered why ppl hate on her when she's a good healer and electro applicant. She's my second best 4 star (second only to heizou) and one of my favs. She's a beast for electro charged teams and the set I gave her turns her healing into attack. She was a beast before dendro and she will continue to be a beast. ( In my opinion)

Kuki hyperbloom indeed feels comfortable. I pulled her in her first banner solely because finally I can see character design that: 1. Her design isn't half baked. Half baked in this topic means making sexy character then covering it later. 2. Don't have cover in their hips area. This kind of character is so rare in genshin. 3. The first crop top fashion in female without covered by any annoying clothes. 4. Have similar concept to Ayame costume in Tenchu 3 but more casual and fresh. Before 3.0 I already using her in Itto team and always full star with her. I don't understand why ppl so quick to judge and don't just enjoy the character without so many demand. The game isn't about abyss only.

As a C2 cookie haver I’m glad she’s getting the spotlight of her return as a solid character and driver for Hyperbloom teams. I knew awhile back she was meant for dendro because of her kit

When Sumeru came out, to get the experience of new reactions I put Beidou in my team. She did the job done when I needed her, especially considering I run her with Sac greatsword. Usually in my exploration team I tend to put characters that need friendship leveling. That turned my team into Heizou Collei Yelan and a healer. Most of the times it was Qiqi, but switched her sometimes out for Bennet. Something just didn't feel right and then comes the current banner. At first I didn't intend to wish as I thought there were only Cyno and Candace that I don't have , but there came also Kuki and was happy that finally got her, considering in the last banner she was in I did 50~60 wishes of which one was a 5*, double Benny boy and 3 4* weapons! I was sad as I wanted an electro healer, so I could try comboing them with Eula team. Tldr Now I got Kuki and she is really fun in the above team. Collei skill, Kuki skill, Yelan burst and Heizou the dmg dealer. It still doesn't really do alot of DMG as Heizou and Kuki aren't completely build yet but it's a nice Swirl Hyperbloom

I think kuki is an amazing chercter to be added because her niche of being an electro healer needed to be filled so I believe she will see more love from now on cus of her role 💜💜

I always wanted Kuki when she came out, but I went for Itto's Redhorn weapon instead. When I saw Cyno's banner having her, I was SUPER HAPPY!! Gonna build her after Dendro Lumine, I'm prepping my team for Cyno

I was so happy when I got her from standard on 3.0, grabbed some constellations and Im really enjoying her now

I've played Genhsin since the start, and Kuki is the first ever Electro and the first ever healer I've ever invested in. She was workings for me really well before 3.0, and now that I've got her to C3 yesterday, she is even better. I'm still awful with dodging after using Zhongli nonstop for a year, but Kuki never failed to keep me alive even with mid artifacts.

i'd also like to add that dark iron sword is a great budget iron sting option if you dont have the billets. it has slightly less em than iron sting but its still a great em stat stick

I took a break when she first came out and was bummed that I missed out on her. I finally pulled her this banner and got her to c5! I hope I can get her final constellation and I plan to build her for sure. She’s cool in my book! :D

Popping all those bloom cores with kuki is so satisfying. Just got her in this banner and I am loving it. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I did not get cyno because I could focus on building kuki.

A generalist character can be useful for a team comp cause they can take on enough roles to free up a spot to be a flex spot that can let you do more damage.

So happy to see best girl finally show off her true potential! I was really upset in the beginning when it seemed like she was going to be very weak, but I still max levelled and triple crowned her. Use her all the time now. 😄

I loved her when she came out. I definitely had to make some pretty big stretches to make her work, but building her in an overloaded team was really fun, and it was able to three star certain abyss floors, so definitely was viable. When dendro came out I was like “it’s a miracle”. The fact that Hyperbloom does more damage than overloaded made my EM Kuki very happy.

I love Shinobu, and have been using her since her release. I used to put her with Ayato in a teaser team. But now with Dendro I'm glad that she gains more value than just healing. Now hyperbloom is my favorite reaction.

Waited for this. Now i finally can make use of my gilded dreams artifacts and change her to Elemental Mastery. Time to upgrade my Candice too ;-)

You read my mind. I'm actually using Candace, Yelan, Traveler and Shinobu as my Hyperbloom team. I can just keep Shinobu on field and I'm getting more out of her since I triple crowned her when she came out. I also have a R5 Iron Sting on her to further increase ALL damage on her so her hydro infused normals still slap. I'm loving it.

@@veve464 2 Emblem to help with ER, 2 Tenacity for HP. HP Sands and Goblet. Crit Rate circlet and Black Tassel. Outside of vape teams her normals don't deal much damage. Her counter still hits hard, though. Besides, I'm using Shinobu on-field.

How much healing per tick does urs do?

Just started genshin 2 days ago and got Kuki as my first banner 4 star. Ain’t going lie her fighting style and inclusion of electric damage is sick. It help me understand how the 4 character team works got to say I’m in love with genshin & kuki Shinobu.

Always been a great fan of kuki. I don't mind not being the best damage player but I love her game play. Love to be able to heal whenever I want in open world play and LOVE the possibility to apply electro off field while healing. I use her with xing qiu and heizou. Kuki and xing qiu do reactions on their own, off field, and heizou just hit on top of that. Probably not the best team but I enjoy playing those so much. That's my open world team

Had a ton of fun with Physical Kuki when she first came out, now Hyperbloom Kuki is all the rage :>

Kuki is my main Hyperbloom driver and healer. She’s rocking a 4pc GD on full EM at C3. I just love her so much ❤

I'm using Lisa proto Amber for my Tighnari team. I feel her and Kuki compete in the electro support slot. If I need another electro support I will build Kuki. I tested instructor on Lisa and it only procs when the character in on field. But the team wide em buff is nice and Sucrose can further boost it for the team.

The claymore and book in the moonlight collection gives the attk buff, the sword gives ER

I play her too. Built her full EM (800) with 4pc Tenacity. Can’t wait till I get a Xiphos Moonlight Sword for her so she’s even more useful by sharing ER stats!

I currently use Shinobu with IronSting. I start with Barbara's Let The Show Begin, then Shinobu's Sanctifying Ring, then Bennett's Passion Overload. Haven't got my Dendro on this account but I use Sucrose lastly to create multiple swirls. All 4 star characters but definitely lovely to watch when doing their combo like this.

Honestly, all electro characters are viable now. ALL of them. That's neat, hopefully more dendro characters will come in the future to vary a bit the team compositions. Would love a dendro polearm user. gonna try Lisa, Kuki, Nahida and a hydro character. Just to try a bit and have a team to rankup/farm for since I'm using my old powerfull team for sooooooo long (Eula/Ganyu, Raiden, Yelan and Zhongli/Jean).

I was never big on kuki but I always wanted her just cuz she’s an electro healer so her getting buffed by dendro now is a nice bonus

I got her c6 this banner. I invested on her fully on relase just for love. You bet I'm gonna try anything under the moon (you know, lesser lord is the moon)

Even before 3.0 I used her and she worked well with heizou well for me at least, she my heal heizou enough to keep him alive why also applying electro for him to easily swirl some what consistently, it worked even better when I had klee putting down her bombs, and Xingqiu using his burst. Ofc this is still my team to this day.

I put dark iron sword on her despite having iron sting and freedom sworn.. I wanna see if she works with the sword that also matches her aesthetic

I agree. She gained popularity and usage in the dendro meta. Been using Yae Miko tho even though many says “she’s bad” I dont care. I like her design and playstyle where I deploy the bolts and do something else like looting or picking flowers lmao. Esp now in Hyperbloom/Dendro Meta Im even more happy with Electro Supremacy.

I just use my C5 kuki for her almost 100% electro application and she synergises so well with my Childe. I was planning to pull raiden to use her in overworld but good thing I got Kuki, she is quite good for electro application in overworld.

I've always used her to have supercharged permanently up with eula, been in the eula-centered team for abyss since she came out and never disappointed, perma debuffs and perma healing plus still nice damage going full EM??? pretty fucking good if you ask me. she was always valued by me as one character and a half from the moment i tried going full EM

Good balanced take. Social media always gravitates to extreme opinions. Shinobu was a alright utility support pre-3.0, and now gains added damage potential with dendro. Many started paying attention now because 30k hyperblooms filling your screen are much harder to overlook than energy, healing, elemental application and buffing.Not to mention doing it without circle impact or burst reliance. Now watch as Candace goes thru this same arc lol

Nah, Kuki had hidden potential. Candace's shield isn't like Thoma's. Her Normal attack buff is inferior to Yunjin's and the only characters benefitting from hydro resonance are HP scaling characters. I don't think Candace can be redeemed that easily.

i was so happy to get her when she was came out first time so i didn't even care that ppl was saying she was weak. i built her with 4p tenacity with overall 35k HP and 440 EM and she was really nice with teams that i enjoyed playing back then. now she's even more useful with that build and i finally decided to play fischl whom i was ignoring for a long time lol now with dendro and electro resonance she's very fun to play and kuki is MVP for her team: she heals, she gives attack boost, she can enable reactions very well and most importantly she's the best girl for me

Get c0 kuki and beat the game. Kuki/barbara/collei/dmc forms cheapest yet strong 36* abyss team. With iron sting and gd full em lmao

I like using Kuki with my tighnari, I just use her elemental skill and then spam wreath arrows. Because the skill continuously applies electro, I get a ton of spread damage

I actually got the 5* Key sword (nilous weapon) and I've put it on kuki. Love kuki lately ~

Even before Sumeru I see Kuki as a great character lmao and pair up well with Ayato because of his close range attack. But because I don't get any Kuki in her first banner I just suffer on Sayu/Barbara+Yae to fill her role. Well I got her now in current banner, now I'm suffering from farming those pesky Spectre again because I recently got Kokomi.

I wasn't even trying to get Kuki... really wanted Cyno and Candace with the Cyno banner. Ended up getting C6 Kuki, plus another one and 1 Cyno 😭 within a span of a week. She's fun to play though!

Is the Black Iron Sword good for Kuki too? Since it's also EM stats and the passive is for electro related.

I use her on my Tighnari quicken team and she’s pretty good even tho she only heals for 2K each tick its surprisingly enough for my Tighnari to 36* the abyss.

About Fav Sword vs Iron Sting: Fav Sword gives you about 2k less hyperbloom damage in exchange for team battery. Worth trying if you have okay crit rate and struggle getting anyone's burst back.

That is not a good option (if the team is hiperbloom) cause kuki is the biggest dps in the team, is more worth it use the sacrificial weapons on the supports of that team (ayato, xingchiu, dendro traveler...)

@Cleod it's fine actually. Kuki's not the only source of damage (Ayato on sac sword = losing more team damage) so whatever keeps the team running smoothly. Fav Kuki can 36 star too so it's just as viable as Iron Sting.

I think it is safe to say kuki has atleast reached fischl potential in terms of how good she is in the right teams. By this I mean she does her job as well as fischl does with hers when in their respective best teams. People say you can just use fischl cuz oz can still hit the cores but that then depends on oz and his position and not yours which ends up being harder to control and hit the cores consistantly with oz. Kuki not only puts the job on yourself giving you full control of when hyperbloom is caused but also heals the on-field unit as they do whatever job they are supposed to do. Not only that because she heals she negates any accidental damage you take if you spawn too many cores and they start exploding. This is also why thoma is so valuable in burgeon teams he can prevent the larger self damage done by the burgeon reaction because of his shield while also causing the reaction with his burst simultaniously.

I never think kuki is bad since her release, even without dendro. I mean you got 100% uptime heal and aoe electro application not limiting you to heal using energy, or even inside a field, and taking less onfield time. I can't find that type of comfortable healer in other character. the only problem is that she need shield support or c6 just to prevent her death because of low hp
