B F I’m glad there treating him good. I lost my eyesight totally in 2012 I fell off a building from 2 story’s high. I landed on my neck and head on concrete. When I woke up in the hospital. I woke up 6 weeks later then I woke up and I was totally blind. So I kinda know how people reacts to a blind person

the pressure of hard questions can be frustrating for one with autism, if they cannot answer, and they find it difficult you should not do that if you dont know them. they can be very upset. i just hope she asked his mother about this before the interview. i do agree that you should treat them as everybody else when you know them, but if you dont, ask the people that know them first, you should start off by beeing light and uplifted with short positive questions and or reactions :)

Yes, ask questions to him, and/or any Autistic child/men. The key is to know how long after a question is asked, before another answers. Mom, seems well aware of that time limit. Pushing for an answer, especially in this setting, is not a good idea.

Raising a child is a very difficult task but a child with any type of disability is even harder. Many people would just stop at providing basic needs but not Mrs. Lee. This is what I mean about not giving up!!!

I agree with you and can relate on how you feel because I have 3 kids and will do anything and everything for them but unfortunately child neglect is a reality. I see it first hand due to my profession.

@@majordanggle I am so sorry to hear that as the horrible reality. I have a child with difficulties but for me it is the best, the most precious and the perfect gift I had ever gotten and I can't even imagine that a parent could give up on their child in any circumstances, especially if they have any kind of difficulty. Children are not toys which you can throw away if they get broken or you don't like them anymore. But, I believe you that those parents exist,but I always thought that it happens very rarely. Kodi's mom is truly an amazing, strong and brave person. She has my biggest respect. Her son may be autistic,but I am sure that for her he is perfect.

"They funded him because we kinda had to fight for it." Every parent & caretaker of a person with disabilities knows this battle all too well.

My nephew became autistic after his second set of baby shots and hes 4 now and loving someone autisitc is a ENTIIIIIIRE DIIFERENT love its such a love you cant explain 🙏❤💚💛😘

@Lokii you can be born with it be he was not i know about 3 people whos child has become autistic after the shots because in those babie shots is led mercurey aborted baby cells in those shots so all that metal is usually what causes it in babies due to the shots but IT CAN BE REVERSED !! you have to detox the body of all the impur metals that are in it

@@neonlights3977 Many people claim that immunizations lead to Autism, however, it's been studied repeatedly and results show the correlation BUT not the cause. Children are born with the disorder which can go unnoticed until the age of 3. That's the correlation. In the US the numbers have increased rapidly, however, the diagnostics have taken on a huge array of different disorders. I'm sorry if I sound rude or offending people. That's not my goal. As the fields open, the numbers increase. In comparison to other countries that have strict guidelines, which we did too, our children are easily misdiagnosed. ADHD, the numbers are not ordinary in the US but our diagnosis can include nearly anyone today. Kodi is Autistic, apposed to the majority on the Autistic Spectrum. Take Susan Boyle and compare to Kodi. They don't share traits. Susan has Asperger's syndrome which largely affects communication. It takes her time to answer questions that she's not expecting. That leads to being a bully target. Over and over and over we have gone through the theories of what causes Autism. There are many studies that rule out a cause, however, to zone in on vaccines is one of those we've ruled out.

Love how great the interviewer was 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Also love how honest Kodi’s mom was when she said they had to fight for the funding. Interviewer did a great job complimenting her @ 2:04 . She deserved that compliment cause she’s a super mom for Kodi. To all the moms who have special children and truly love them: “Go mama!”

Omg, I love Kodi so much. I have a child with Autism the same age as Kodi, and he loves music. When you have a child with special needs you always have to fight for services. Tina is an amazing mom who raised an amazing young man. I have no doubt that Kodi will win agt. He has shown that nothing is impossible even when you face challenges. God bless you, Kodi.

This interviewer did a lovely job interviewing both Kodi and mom.

What's beautiful is these parents raised good kids and nurtured his talent. I applaud mom and dad.

This guy is TOTALLY in his element! He owns the stage and his personality is just a joy. And that TALENT! He's going to go a long way, and kudos to his amazing mom & dad for encouraging him & not holding him back. To borrow Kodi's phrase - "WOW!!!"

As someone who has a brother with special needs and is a special education teacher, I just want to thank Tanika the interviewer for the love and understanding and inclusivity she showed to Kodi and his mom. This truly is the best interview with someone who has special needs that I’ve ever seen. So beautiful... and this guy is going FAR! ❤️

I tear up every time. Hands down to Kodi’s mom & all moms with special needs. She must be very proud & over the moon with happiness. Such beautiful souls. God bless your family 🥰

When you watch the golden buzzer audition just before Kodi starts to sing he gets closer to the mic and he must make a sound into it as his face changes to a cheeky little smile that was like I GOT THIS. What an awesome young man, such a talented entertainer. I've watched his clip so many times now, Kodi's voice is golden and he chose such a great song, he is an absolute class act.
