Man's beat everyone in the prison then escaped the prison ran all the way to where panda lived which btw the prison was a secluded area far from any land that was being used for people to live in then fought the 5 then fought there master and then right after fought panda. :V

@@DIRTkat_ofc Kai is still stronger than Tai Lung. It's just that Tai Lung would create more problems for Kai if he freed himself.

I like to think that Kai has to manually control the jombies to an extent, and that's why we see him getting knocked around when the jombies get hit. So the more of them he uses, the more his attention is split and the less effective each jombie is. That's my headcanon for why the pandas won so easily after like a day of training, anyways.

We need just a short of those two fighting in the chi realm

Funny thing is, I realized recently Tai Lung was CONSTANTLY stretching and exercising in prison. That position he was forced in required a really strong core and muscles in his arms that never got overstrained and would have pulled OFF his arms from the boulders in 20 years. And apparently although Po was never able to, the dragon warrior was expected to need minimal sustenance to maintain themselves for incredible periods. Tai Lung appears to live that legend. There were no mechanisms in place keeping him upright in that position. A normal person would’ve been flat on their gut with no way to move with that turtle shell keeping his pressure points locked down. So long as his reflexes were maintained from prior to his getting locked up, it’s why he came out stronger quite effortlessly.

Bro the furious five almost beat Tai lung and by the third movie, Tigress Atleast, far surpassed Tai lung. It’s pretty blatant. The reason Kai didn’t use Tai lung i feel, is bc with power creep, Tai lung is simply too WEAK I mean he’s a physical fighter and displayed no worthy amounts of chi at all Infact he seems to have very little of it looking at how he fights compared to other masters. We have to remember that Tai lung was in the first movie. Tigress is respected by Po and while she is below him in skill and power, it is heavily implied that she isn’t too far behind. Tigress alone could beat Tai Lung as a jombie, much less the whole furious five Edit: Jesus Christ people, if you’re gonna respond to this. Have points that work. My claim is that tigress by the end of kunfu panda 3 beats tai lung from kunfu panda 1 (haven’t seen the fourth movie and don’t plan to) you can’t bring up tigress from the first movie and expect your point to be valid she not kinky got more skilled since then but she always got super powers (chi) if ur gonna try debating this subject, give actual evidence. Yku can’t just say “tai lung beat her in the first movie” and expect your point to be flawless. What’s tai lung gonna do against a tigress who has trained with the dragon warrior for years? The dragon warrior who beat tai lung in the first movie. What’s tai lung gonna do against a god damn chi attack?

I think it’s because the more jade pendants he has attached to himself the stronger he is and so he uses the weaker ones that he feels comfortable being without. That’s why he wants to catch more people it isn’t so he can have more jombies it’s so he gets more power or strength or whatever it does. I’m basing it being used as a power source from the fact that after he got enough of them he was able to go back to the realm of the living

I saw another theory of Kai needing some extra backup chi to keep himself anchored in reality after how much he needed to just blow open the hole to the other side

The way Kai fights you can almost mirror it to how ferocious Tai lung conbat style is deadly but refined

The 4th movie kind of took away how strong everyone was in the spirit realm like they literally couldve killed the chameleon if she didnt one shot them

Ooguay has a much more simple explanation, he needed Ooguay’s chi to return to the normal world, since Ooguay was the one who exiled him to the spirit world in the first place.

The thing is even if kai used oogway then he wouldnt break free. Cos considering at the start when they (kai and oogway) were fighting, oogway was captured and then he spoke “it was never my destiny to stop you, i have sent another on that path”. Oogway had accepted his fate and let kai take his chi. So even if oogway was released he wouldnt break free cos he had accepted that kai had taken his chi and he was helpless. Of course oogway had great power, but again tai lung. Yes tai lung if he was used he could have broke out, and i think he would also go against kai if he did. But i dont thinks so about oogway. Plus dont forget in the 1st movie oogway also ascended and he also accepted that. And he was really old.

Well, that isn't fully confirmed. Kai beat Shifu and Tai Lung. And Tai Lung beat Shifu very easily. Shifu got one hit by Kai and got knocked. I wouldn't really say Shifu was strong to break himself. Kai on the other hand, he would've broke out 100%
