No dude all of them did very well. Its not only jerax. All did amazing job equally. From ceb's axe, From ana and topson delaying the final push from lgd. I find it unfair to say that jerax is the mvp when the whole team is doing sick plays since day one.

The biggest issue is that people are so stuck with naming MVPs. If topson doesnt absolutely go ham in game one, if Seb doesnt play perfect Axe in game 4, if Ana doesnt carry the shit out of an Ember Spirit in game 5 nothing of this happened. So in the end there is no clear one MVP for me. Maybe thats what OG is all about in the first place: Its not about single players its about the team.

The MVP term only exists in Dota because the pub players think that Dota is an individual game, thus using the term

You are the biggest idiot evet..MVP doesnt apply in GF ONLY..Its measured over the whole tournament. Also..adding to your "this player did this so he is also very good" jerax his Earth shaker vs LGD in the UBF..didnt that safe OG from going to the lower bracket and posible elimination? Hmm? And do you think players like pajkatt and Singsing (just 2 famous examples, i could have used 10 more) are top tier players? They saved there teams MULTIPLE times and played insane games. Why were they never considered as MvP back in the day? Singsing won a pretty big premier and he went NUCLEAR in game 4 and 5 to comeback from a 1-2 behind in BO5 Vs EHOME..he didnt get the mvp tho, his offlaner did because his offlaner was consistend and actualy fucking insane the whole tournament... same counts for Jerax here...Jarex is a much better player skill wise, OG is lucky to have him...if i was jerax i would have accepted the invite to secret couple months before TI. But ok

game 1 ceb treat healing tower prevent lgd snowballing,mk gg wp game 4 ceb axe vs 3 melee game 5 ana jerax+ceb combo ana r feeding most of the time but its ok lgd's opp r feeding all the time. TI7 MVP = GH Herald : Miracle TI8 MVP = in og = Jerax,overall ill go for FY Herald : Ana

all of the OG team did their best. Notails' unbelievable sacrifices ingame which goes unnoticed, Jerax's set and saves, ceb's selfless plays, topsons mid gaming, ana's fast thinking. those are the quality of OG.

You could've also included his IO in game 4... You can see many clutch plays there on how he saves his teammate.... Everytime I remember how he tether that PL illu just so he can confuse the enemy during fights gives me goosebumps

The last point is very true. And it doesn't even cover what Jerax has stuck with OG through. Remember he joined OG coming from Liquid after TI6. Next year, Liquid wins TI. He might have followed in a certain player's footsteps and rushed back to Liquid (although I don't think they would ever drop GH to get him back). Still, the way was open for him to find a new team, yet he stuck with OG. Then, after an extremely disappointing year, he sticks with the team through the stuff Crystalis already went through. I think it's extremely hard to select an MVP for this TI, since all of OG stepped up to such ridiculous heights. But I do not think it's unfair in the slightest to give it to Jerax.

Most of us would definitely commend or appreciate the one who kills the most, who farms the most, but the supports are really the real MVP... Without the support, carries can't farm, eventually can't kill coz under farmed, and cannot destroy the game. Disruptor, ancient apparition, etc, they might look weak, but they are the game deciding heroes.

He had always been a tier 1 support ever since he came in to the scene. Dictated how Earth Spirit should be played and has a couple highlights of Rubick plays under his belt. To say his a tier 2 is sort of an insult, he has set the standard for how roaming supports should be played in the previous years. I frankly think that Ceb and Notail were the brains of OG, utilizing Topson, Ana and Jerax to push the three to their full potential along with heroes they they most comfortable with, sacrificing their picks (ceb on tree/wyvern or cores who are not really greedy).

you really don't understand the concept of MVP do you? someone being the MVP fo the team doesn't necessarily means that his teammates are dead weights or that his team didn't try, it just means that he did most out of all of them and considering jerax is a support which tbh honest is a role that should get more recognition for their work its not a surprise he is the mvp.
