Also his coaches were so focused on Harry Kane that Vardy was never going to get to play down the center of the pitch and therefore his talents were being wasted. But of course Vardy wouldn't come out and say it directly.

Vardy left because with Kane he knew he would not get favor. It was to England's detriment as in 2016 he was in sublime form doing what to date Kane has never done win a premiership.
