I've heard of this sport years ago and used to chase little white balls around on golf carts. I was letting myself and my body go as I got older. Noticed some disc golf baskets in my area and started watching guys throw discs. I thought I should try it. This was less than 6 months ago and I'm hooked. I believe it has saved me from being a couch potato and now I play once , sometimes twice a week. I made two practice baskets for my yard , and getting better. I saw Paige at the USDGC this year and wanted to shake her hand. Rules say not allowed, and didn't know that. But for her to be out there throwing with Conrad, Clements, and the guys speaks volumes. Best of luck Paige, and Dad, great job on pushing. 👍

Such an awesome experience! People think it's like a whatever sport but after the first hole they might just start to sweat a bit. I might say that it is a gritty form of "golf". And I've seen "The Greatest Game Ever Played". I used to think that gold was just a past time and considered Ping Pong a truer sport over something like golf or chess. Disc Golf has changed me and I love it.

Wow! I am literally left speechless! I commend Jomez Productions as a whole. You guys are stepping up your production values to the point of producing among the very best sports retrospectives in the entire genre. This video, and the past couple you have produced, have the quality to have 10+ million views on KZread. You won't get those many views, because of Disc Golf's niche nature, but the quality is top flight in every respect. Keep it up and don't get disheartened. As with everything in this life, you have to put in the Yeoman's effort to get the Champion's acclaim. Keep hitting it out of the park, you know you were born to do what you do!

Learning how to do that and getting better each time out is the goal. Glad I started playing - wish it was earlier in my life, but can't change that now. Retirement will include destination travel for mountain biking, disc golf, and paddleboarding.

I hope that the narrative of Paige's amazing rise to 5 X world champion can also include a conversation about whether or not her father's style of pressure on her was harmful. I highly recommend this documentary to anyone who is intentional about how to support their kids in sports: The film is called "Trophy Kids" . There is a scene in the film about a ride home in the car after a loss that mirror's what page talks about in this video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpxqz8V6kry9mag.html

Hell yeah- good on ya Paige, her dad, and Jomez. This video was awesome! I've become a huge fan of Paige and I'm happy for her to get this opportunity to develop her brand with Discraft. She has been such a good ambassador to the sport and is so entertaining to watch play. Congrats Paige! Good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing you play in 2020.

Watching her tell Paige Shue, when she took her aside for a moment, “you deserve this,” showed Paige Pierce’s character. Beautiful person she is.
