Since the dawn of time, Hollywood studios have been attempting to make live-action adaptions of anime. The results have been, for the most part, disastrous. The movie-going public has been subjected to some of the worst adaptions of anything, ever. But why exactly is it so difficult to adapt anime? Why is it that fans seem to despise almost all of these live-action movies? Casual anime fans and die-hard weeaboos alike cannot agree on who the best girl is, in anything, but they can agree that most of these movies just suck.
