I'll repeat the question here, as I sort of glossed over it in my intro: I normally play in a group of 4 or 5 of us, which restricts me basically to Powershift and Terminal Attack. Between the two modes, which would you prefer to see? I figure Powershift is like, more lives = more action, but Terminal Attack has a certain strategy to it that isn't just mindless kill hunting. Let me know!

I think powershift is awesome, i'd say it shows off the weapon more than the player's strategy, which I guess is a good thing?

Powershift might be better, as you said more action, and also a large portion of the community is just against TA rn because of the way its been implemented

I feel like P-S is more centered around action and intensity, there's always a fight around every corner, therefore you can get more eliminations, i.e. more content jam packed into into every scene, however, T-A is more slow paced, with fewer encounter, but the silver lining is that is the risk is all the higher, so why not test both out, and see which one we the viewer have a better reaction towards.

Play what you find fun. Most likely, the more fun you have, the more this will reflect in the quality of your content. Personally, I like Power Shift, but I'll watch anything. I'm here for The Finals, and I'm happy if that's what I get. Keep up the great content!

i just hate that we only win when fighting guns, we lose to light swords and heavy hammer or spear

So, my experience with dual blades this far has been this: they're really good if your teammates work with you, as you can just press into a target with deflect and that person can't effectively retaliate with projectiles, but if the enemy attack you from different angles you're screwed. Until it's go-time, you usually want to be treating it as a midrange smg because of the spread on deflect, isolating angles so you don't get double teamed. There are some important breakpoints in the damage. First and second pair of swings + quick melee kills medium, two each of the first and second + 2 melee for heavies, you use quick melee and never finish the last attack unless you need to use the lunge to stick on them. The last swing in the combo deals the least damage but both swords hit simultaneously, so that's worth something sometimes. Edited: typos

Thank you! That one is my favorite too (and my default), but I gotta switch it up every once in awhile.

I think to be viable outside of power shift swords really just need more reliable deflection. If the enemy is above or below you you can’t generally deflect even though it looks like you can, and if they just aim for the legs you don’t deflect either.

A general sentiment I’ve seen is that for literally no reason at all, the dual swords go hard in power shift and no other game mode. I dunno if it’s the same for you and I haven’t tried it myself, but yeah I dunno. They’re really bad in cashout lol. Personally I think it needs to be easier to deflect bullets back at people. You have to be ultra precise right now and it’s like :/ man you may as well just take the death. Maybe when you deflect bullets it acts like you’re hip firing a weapon? That would make sense to me.

Hard for me to tell, as I’m garbage at Cash Out to begin with, so I can’t blame the gun/swords. It does act as a hipfire (at least when deflecting sniper shots), however, per another video I watched on them.

@@nobleshmoble ahhh I dunno then. Maybe they need to add a crosshair or something? Lol I dunno. Maybe it’s a skill issue. I also just don’t think that melee weapons go great with mediums though in general. Mediums don’t have the best horizontal chase methods, so lights can just run away/stun you and obliterate you, and heavies have too much health to out-damage them in a 1v1. It puts you in a weird spot in cashout because you have to hyper focus on sticking to your team and your team has to also be pretty decent and hyper aware of what you’re doing so they can help you.

Dude I knew people were tweaking calling them bad they're so much more fun than light sword. The editing in this is superb as always and you deserve way more subs P.S I almost only play powershift, it's the only actually fun and team-oriented gamemode. I'd love to see more powershift content. TA doesn't fit the finals

For your question: Powershift. Especially running melee, in Terminal Attack you're statistically gonna spend more time in the spectate screen. Its not really as engaging imo

I'm currently running with my heavy equipped with the "get over here" Scorpion hook and my massive lighter aka flamethrower... it's so much fun and I get so many easy kills

No one uses them because they are simply bad. In power shift u can get close pretty easily because well, the game revolves around the plataform. Any other mode MOVEMENT is a BIG thing. U will 70% of the time get tosted by Ar and Ak players vs Dual swords, u simply cant get close. Think about it this way... Light with sword revolves around you using the lunge skill to be able to have MOVEMENT to be competitive and EVEN SO it is very hard to play light sword and u need A LOT of practice. Now, u have a slower class with no movement ability that can only deflect some shots. To top it all when u deflect u are slowed down so u cant even run towards the enemy while deflecting. Basicly u are a target dummy anywhere else that isnt a closed space.

I think it deflected, just not into the enemy. I'm fairly certain I would've taken more damage than I did running straight at that XP54.

One reason why I didn't use DB, it's inconsistent on Deflecting bullet Definitely Bug because happen a lot on other people too Riot shield is 1000% better because u can protect yourself while running and it's much consistent because all bullet is blocked except foot shot which hard to do when yourself is running away
