Or is he capable of taking your soul? Even though he's known as the God of death I don't feel he's dangerous or unjust who takes your soul. Instead he's someone who makes the journey easier

There is a temple to Yamraj in the south also, in a village called Srivanchiyam or Thiruvanchiyam, in Thiruvarur district in Tamil Nadu. This 1110 year old temple is dedicated to Shiv bhagwan, with a temple to Yamraj in the outermost parikrama. It is customary to pray to Yamraj first and not Ganesh bhagwan (as is traditional) before proceeding into the temple to worship Shiv Bhagwan. this Temple is actually at Bharmour rather than in Chamba, where we have 84 sidh temple. The local folklore states that 9 Nath, 84 Sidh, 64 Yoginiya and Navagraha where alloted there work by Lord Shiva/Bholenath/Mahadev here on this land or temple area, there is also a mountain range for trekking know as Mani Mahesh, which comes under 5 Gupt Mansarovar yatra or trekking holy mountains..
