TRUCKS ARE AWESOME! But if you’re a trucker or truck lover out there, we don’t need to tell you that! Not all trucks are the same, though,Some are built to last longer, go further or cost you less in fuel. And it all boils down to the single most important component of a heavy vehicle: THE ENGINE. When you look underneath your truck, would you rather be looking at the Volvo D16K, or the Mercedes OM 473? What factors do you consider the most when you pick what’s gonna be under the hood of your truck? The weight of your Scania V8 engine? The power of the MAN D38 under your hood? The popularity the Mercedes brand might have? Or the Flexibility of Service That the Volvo company might have to offer?

for me personally the om 47x engines from merc wins here. They are very simple and relatively easy to work on. Their only issues really are oil leaks. I genuinely like working on these engines.
I personally have no experience with scania engines . But I have heard good things about them . I've run volvo , not bad , but not my favorite mercedes have built some very good engines in the past , but I'd probably choose MAN as I know from personal experience in the past , they've built excellent engines .
We Choose the SCANIA V-8, have operated these trucks in conventional and cabover configurations with sleepercabs. Destinatians from Holland were Asia, Russia and Northern African, there were no major problems ! Greetings. Keep safe on the road. 😊

volvo would be lot better becouse your scania's automated manual is a bit wors than volvo's i shift and i mean you can notice that differene well i gie points to scania that it's not as bad as zf automated manual that everyone uses as manual transmission
