Offenses r committed by proud people... so we should work upon our pride instead of fearing from association of devotees... 6. Everybody is suffering with different diseases like Lust, anger, greed one should hear lecture on those particular topics... then that wound in heart will cure... 7. Feeding and fencing to maintain and grow in devotional service.... ABCD and 4 regulative principles... 8. 4 types of sahishnuta we have to tolerate paramat, dwanda, vega, parautkarsha... 4 types of tolerance

People with pride treat others as if they are doing some kind of favour to them by being with them or associating with them..they have this bhava attached to their action that you are fool, you wont understnd how great i am, so i can do and say anything...people who have pride, usually look down on other people in the matter related where they have pride... Instead of using the very thing they are proud of to help less fortunate people. They dont understand that you have been given this extra thing not to feel proud but to help others with what you have... Thats serving others with that quality.

Illicit sex, meat eating, cheating, gambling, speaking lies.. incompatible for soul ie it suffers in long run ... 6. Serving God of not then Serving dog.. nature of the soul is to serve

1. One should endeavor for that top right most ending... 2. Parcels and pockets of pleasure and pain without endeavor is delivered at different stages of life... 3. Sudden phase of pleasure and suffering without big endeavor 4. With very little effort automatically comes to us the results of purva janma paap and Punya... 5. April month job pays salary on 1st of May... some get less some gets high based on hardworking or loose working 6 ur exertions r useless at same time don'ts b laziness shastra says..

1. Should work for that spiritual goal.. 2. Materialist means money and sex life... that was hiranyakahipu, means no time for God 3. Such materalists will eventually see God at the time of death 4. One sided attempts for struggle for existence is banned by iso upnishad 5. Struggle for existence = from body (disease and hunger)from internal pushings of anarthas, from external allurments 6. Set right all these struggles life span goes away...that struggle for existence definition in Gita

1.ratan tata, ambani previous life karma businesses flourishes like anything 2. Don't exert much materially shastra says 3. Laziness postpone our karma 4. Allotted quota with 8 hrs earned money remaining time for devotional service... very good balance 5. That's little endeavor. 6. Eating mating sleeping depending is not goal of life which is soo common in 14 planetary system

Prabhuji we have heard of many personalities who might have born in very poor families , rejected by everyone and experience various other difficulties as per their karma.. But their intense desire and hardwork to succeed, had made them truly successful.. If they are to be successful anyway as per their karma, why weren't they able to get it with little hardwork...rather endeavour more and more with sleepless nights... Is it that Harwork can chage our fate and destiny.. Thankyou

Everyone is trying his best. But Mr. Ford was destined to become a rich man. His destiny was there, and so he became a rich man…You cannot change your destiny simply by working hard like asses and dogs. No. But you can utilize your special human energy for improving your Krishna consciousness. Prabhupada told of a man he knew in Allahabad who was a Ph.D., yet he could not get a job. The man was manufacturing soap bars at home and going by cycle every day to sell them in the market. Although he had a Ph.D., he was living like a coolie. He mentioned that Mr. Modi, the founder of Modinagar, was not an educated man, but he had fifty thousand people working for him.Prabhupäda emphasized that therefore one should not make much endeavor for economic advancement, because whatever one is due, either success or failure, is already decided. Getting a Ph.D. will not change that. One should simply try to become Kåñëa conscious.  Srila Prabhupada : According to the different types of body, there are some external differences in the pleasure, but the basic amount and quality of this pleasure has very well defined limitations. That is called destiny. A pig has a certain type of body, and his eatable is stool. This is destined. You cannot change it-"Let the pig eat halavä." That is not possible. Because the soul has a particular type of body, he must eat a particular type of food. Can anyone, any scientist, improve the standard of living of a pig? Is it possible? [Laughter.] Srila Prabhupada : Destiny allows only a certain amount of material happiness in this world, and our efforts should therefore be directed toward self-realization. Nobody is enjoying uninterrupted material happiness. That is not possible. Just as you cannot check your distressing condition of life, similarly you cannot check your happy condition of life. It will come automatically. Therefore, don't waste your time with these things. better you utilize your energy for advancing in Kåñëa consciousness. Srila Prabhupada : Sometimes people boast, "We have gone from the hut to the skyscraper." They think this is progress. But in the Vedic system of civilization, one thinks about how much he is advanced in self-realization. He may live in a hut and become very advanced in self-realzation. But if he wastes his time turning his hut into a skyscraper, then his whole life is wasted, finished. And in his next life he is going to be a dog, although he does not know it. That's all. Material Destiny cannot be appreciably changed; Spiritual Progress cannot be checked. On the platform of soul, one’s progress towards God cannot be checked by Age, Caste, Literacy, Poverty etc. (eg) Gajendra elephant, Jatayu eagle, Child Dhruva - all have equal chance to advance towards God Consider a RACE between Luna moped, Maruti and Benz. Can the Luna driver speed up and win the race by any amount of endeavour? Yes! Luna can reach the goal faster than even Benz, - If a helicopter can lift it and carry it to the destination. Similarly, if we surrender to God, who is the maker of destiny, He can change our destiny also, if He wishes. (eg) Lord Krishna blocked sun with His Sudarshan chakra (eg) Lord Krishna brought His guru’s son from Yamaloka Puñöa Kåñëa: So, then, we can't say that the Vedic system, or sanätana-dharma, is fatalistic. There actually is endeavor for progress.Çréla Prabhupäda: Certainly-spiritual progress. As for the question of "fatalistic," I have often given this example: Let us say a man is condemmed by a court of law to be hanged. Nobody can check it. Even the same judge who gave the verdict cannot check it. But if the man begs for the mercy of the king, the king can check the execution. He can go totally above the law. Therefore the Brahma-saàhitä [5.54] says, karmäëi nirdahati kintu ca bhakti-bhäjäm: destiny can be changed by Kåñëa for His devotees; otherwise it is not possible. Therefore our only business should be to surrender to Kåñëa. And if you artificially want to be more happy by economic development, that is not possible. Srila Prabhupada : A dog is running here and there on four legs, and you are running on four wheels. Is that progress?The Vedic system is this: The human being has a certain amount of energy-better energy than the animals', better consciousness-and that energy should be utilized for spiritual advancement. So the whole Vedic system is meant for spiritual advancement. KC helps us in both ways : 1. Face our destiny better If we are anchored at Lord’s lotus feet, we can tolerate the storm of unfavorable Destiny 2. Improve our future destiny Our past actions have created our present destiny, so our present KC actions will determine our future destiny. That is certainly a BRIGHT future. We are trauma bonded to material world..... Trauma bonding means we love very person who causes us harm... Similarly since we have created this attachment to material life , life after life, we enjoy this material life without knowing how it hurts us.... this is similar to trauma bonding in case of narcissist relationship. Though narcissist hurt us slowly initially but we look over these red flags because we think we can change person and because we are attracted... So we allow abuse to happen. Then this narc increases abuse but gives intermittent reinforcement by small gestures of kindness. These gestures we take as sign that he loves us and forget rest of the abusive behavior... This is our miserable condition in this material world... We are being abused and sparringly we get some happiness and still we long for this world.

Buke in hands of Radha Rani trshul in hands of durga... spiritual world welcoming us and material world is (Get out) pushing us out from this place... bt we want to be here and not want to go at welcoming place Jivas r soo foolish 2. Y don't want to give up this place bcoz we r attached to it 3. We should prepare ourselves and then others to go out from this place... 4. One thing is sure that this body is going to grow old, ie anta kale cha.. all our activities should be in that direction... 5. Narrow minded thinking ( money making plans, future plans, good sex objects, enjoying pleasures) in today's world 6. Karmi, gyani yogi r selfish only devotees r selfless they want to serve Krishna not their own pleasures of heaven, brama jyoti, yogic siddhis Reference point is I, but for devotees Reference point is Krishna 7. Activities are easy to do but chanting is difficult soo more devotional service Activities purifies then chanting become easy 8. Pure jiva = need full things = desires = karmas = reactions plus no association of Lord initiates sins... for pure soul 9. From opulence comes offensive and sinful tendencies

Hare krishna prabhuji! Please can you tell me what is the right meter to read bhagwatam verses? e.g for Bhagwat Gita we have Anushtup chanda. I don't find that chanda matching the bhagwatam verses

Chaitnya mahaprabhu said I will accept Prasada from devotee who chants 1lakh names 64 rounds...any comment on this prabhu?

@pravin - you can chant 64 rounds on Ekadasi and special festival days like Gaur Purnima, which is practical. For the rest, SP has given us 16 rounds minimum; we can always chant more when we can. HK Ys Radheshyam das
