    The tremolo bar problem is an easy fix, they actually make a little spring you can put in there and then you screw the bar in and it slowly puts tension on the bar as you screw it in, thus eliminating the loose rattling noise

  • @nychold
    @nychold6 ай бұрын

    For the loose wiggle stick, you can try putting some copper tape around the threads. That should hold it in place better.

    Some teflon tape on the trem bar threads will fix it. Almost a must on cheap guitars of any brand. Also did a little measuring on my Cozart Strat and discovered it is actually a Dinky body. It always felt a little off to me for a Strat, but in a good way. It is actually my number one these days after swapping in an old set of Fender Vintage Noiseless and CTS pots. The cheap dime pots simply could not handle the Fender pups.

    Cool guitar. Sounds like a keeper to me. About the loose trem bar, the classic 6 screw and 2 point trems usually come with a small spring that is supposed to go it the trem bar hole before you thread the bar into place. It provides resistance so there is no slack in the bar. Sometimes there's a tiny ziplock bag included that has the spring, sometimes there's no included spring.

    One trick with the bar like that is to wrap some plumbers tape around the threads of the bar. It'll tighten it up and might hold it then where you need it.

    I may get yelled at for this, but at my age, I really don't give a crap. I am 66 and have been playing for 51 years. I really appreciate your playing though I am not really in to metal, I live somewhere between Deaf Leopard and Deep Purple with a little, Jethro Tull thrown in there. I recently watched a video from a creator I am sure you are familiar with, Guitar Max, and one from someone you may not be familiar with, Leo Gibson. Both are accomplished guitarists but it seems lately, they are getting lazy. I respect the way your pick hand keeps up with your fret hand, you basically pick pretty well ever note you want to play. I am a purist, and this to me is how the guitar is meant to be played. I am more of a strat, superstrat style guitar lover, though I have a number of guitars with humbuckers, find overdriving single coils produce the sound I am looking to create. And to end, to your viewers, speaking from experience. If you find a guitar, either new or used that was made in Indonesia, check that guitar out thoroughly. I have been very impressed with a couple of so called, lower end guitar purchases made in Indonesia. To the point where I own six of these guitars made in Indonesia. Keep doing your thing, looks like your efforts are very appreciated by your followers.

    I love your channel and videos bu it would have been nice to do the clean demo without a modulation effect on it. It doesn't need to be dry, maybe just use some reverb and delay. The chorus effect just covers up what I'm trying to hear when I'm listening to cleans. With that said, I'm probably going to buy this guitar anyway. I'll probably the fender trem spring to get the bar where I want it

    Start simple, then work your way up. Get a guitar, amp, and cable. I'd probably get a small amp with built in effects like reverb and delay. Boss Katana or any Line 6 amps are good for that. That way you can get different sounds without pedals.

    At $190 it just doesn't really seem like a good buy compared to the other import brands out there like Leo Jaymz, Firefly, or IVY that are bringing better features such as locking tuners, roasted maple, ball end stainless frets, spoke wheel truss, etc. Without those extra features, that leaves it really competing with entry level guitars from more established brands like Ibanez, Jackson, Squier, Kramer, etc. And, based on your glowing review of the Jackson JS11 I really wonder why anyone should even consider the Fesley.

    No sculpted/recessed neck heel is a deal breaker off the bat. There is no reason to have a fat square block in this day and age. At least the Leo Jaymes models have that. Plus SS frets on some models. This will pass me by.

    I have advised them to change that on future models. No need for the plate and squared off neck joint. So we'll see.

    Yeah I wouldn't buy anything that's that cheap brand new even for a beginner, better to buy something pre-owned. You can find used Ibanez , jacksons or squiers for around that same price. Hell last month I picked up a used prs silversky se for $599, but I ain't no beginner lol
