BET awards had no host or co host because no writers because of the strike

This clip shows how quickly we are to dodge accountability. It took last than five minutes for the conversation to shift to companies and people that do not prevent us from setting a standard for the black community, and the conversation never got back on track in this clip.

​@rondz1234 A television channel that targets a particular ethnic audience will get its cues from that group's culture. The black community tells Black Entertainment Television what is its standard for entertainment by its actions. Currently, a large number of people in our community are telling BET by their viewership that our standard is low frequency and mediocre. Our community is ultimately accountable for the standard being displayed on BET, not the television channel.

BET doesn’t take it serious enough so the artists they invite don’t take it seriously either. People taking their shoes off and running on stage etc. I hope Tyler Perry completely reverses the course of the network

Nah, Hynaken wrong about the “better” professionals. It is definitely about the structure, but not because its bad black structure vs grammy/white structure… the entire structure of the organizations are different. The grammys is a club. Everybody u see there are dues paying members and that money is combined with advertising . The seats cost stacks to sit in…BET is a network, not a club. No dues to pay…the money comes strictly from advertising. Different organizational structure, so different result.
