I got this same model it’s actually very good for snorkeling coz it helps you float a bit and it is comfortable to breath if you use it a dew times coz u will figure out how to use it properly...that is based on my experience

Reason for why outflow of air is in front is because if water enters while snorkeling (while mostly looking downward) the waters easiest way out is forcing air at exhale exactly in front of mouth and nose area which is the accumulation spot of the water that enters in this type of mask, imho.

I remember that the first time I used a snorkeling mask, I got comfortable and got too much under water and literally breathed in water lmao

Can it be taken apart easily for putting in your suitcase after a holiday - great review thank you

3d printing a custom mold to move to the bubbles out of the way would be nice. Maybe down and around the neck.

I would hazard a guess that the position of the outlet/exhale valve is just carried over from a full-face respirator design that it was based on. I suppose that it's harder to breathe out because the snorkels have a one-way valve and so you have to push the air out through the exhale valve on the front, against the weight of the water surrounding you. The earlier single snorkel design had no one-way valve and so breathing out went up the snorkel and/or the exhale valve at the front, depending on which has least resistance.

They should make mass kind of like this for the Covid stuff

supercool mask...but i think exhale out with bubble disturbing view...i hope someday it will improve to put exhale out at left/righ side.

The most BIG problem of full face snorkel mark is you cannot balance your ear in deep diving. Sorry for my bad English

@@tendoac It's hard to describe in words; it's better to have a snorkeling or scuba instructor in a pool with you. But the most common other ways are to "swallow" (you don't actually have food in your mouth, but it's the same action as if you did), to yawn while keeping your mouth closed, and to stretch your neck out while tilting your head to one side or the other (to open the eustachian tubes in your inner ears) while doing any of the other methods at the same time. That last one can even help when doing the plugged nose method, if you've gone to deep before doing it and one or both of the eustachian tubes has collapsed. I hope this helps.

@@tendoac Yes! It's exactly the same way of dealing with changes of pressure between our outer ears and inner ears, and in both cases it's caused by changes in altitude/depth. It's just that the changes are more extreme in water, because water is denser/heavier.

Do you think it's possible to make a "home made" solution to all these problems? Like putting some tubes as you said for the air that comes out to not block your view?

Bubbles you could maybe are just an annoyance, but sounds like if your constantly being locked out of breathing that's worse than "in theory" co2 build up, no? Unless (a) unlocking those breathing balls is actually no problem (what do you have to do? Do you need to use your hands? Remove the mask? Or (b) co2 build up is not something you would notice as it happens just by feeling weaker and/or light headed ( which is what I imagined would happen) but if, in reality, there is risk of an unanticipated blackout then I guess that is more of a deal-breaker.

Lol honestly I tried the regular full.face today and got into trouble with breathing 15minutes because of the co2 so that's the biggest seller for me.

Air bubbles obstruct your vision Blocking mechanism prevents you from breathe and make you panic "Other than that I have nothing bad to say" : D

Is there a way to store the air in the mask so you can breathe under water for a bit?

You could attach a long flexible hose up to the surface with the inlet attached to a float, a small fan pushing the air down would improve matters so you would end up with a set up similar to the old diving suit affairs, would be interesting to see if someone tries this and how deep it could work, I reckon thirty feet depth should be feasible.

i bet it created low pressure inside the mask when you dive with it and exhales the air. thats why the balls that block the water from came into the snorkel stuck.

Because when you are swimming the bubbles move to the sides of you are still you will see bubbles

they really aren't that expensive but ok

I tested out this mask as a friend had bought it and wasn't sure if it was any good. It's a really awful design, the pressure it takes to push the air out of the mask is stronger than any mask I have used. Also the bubbles coming out the front block your vision and scare away fish. 😑

Imagine geting the air tubes blocked and its the first time you use it. Omg omg omg who wants to kill me...

In my point of view I would prefer to see the bubbles so I can at least make sure that am breeding properly

This mask makes you a beast underwater

The reason why it's slightly heavier to breathe in that mask is because of how long the tube is. Try breathing through a straw and you'll see the similarities.

No, that's not it; all snorkels have long tubes, so that doesn't explain why this one is harder to exhale from than others. The reason is because instead of breathing out into the open air, with this mask you're breathing out into the greater resistance of the denser water. (Water is more than 700 times denser than air.) It's a silly design. Since this mask has two tubes, they should have put in simple mushroom valves so that you breath in through one tube and out through the other.

first of all and the most important, the CO2 IS BUILDING IN THIS TYPE OF MASK, because you have very large empty space between mouth and the valve trought CO2 is suppose to go out, and because CO2 is heavier than the other gases present in that comparment it is not possible to empty all of amount of CO2 before you inhale air again..i dont want to advertise anything and anybody here by writting this, but everyone who is interested in real good solution for this problem should find more about product Powerbreather and its benefits against full face masks..there are few good comparisons on youtube, i wont post links here because again i dont want to advertise anybody, but as an owner of the product i can say it is truly game changer against anything there on the market!

Face mask are different from snorkels, in snorkels you can get crappy offbrands but still dive safely, since it’s a tube But face masks, if it’s an off brand you could die
