Hindus are not their citizens but very unfortunate people who accidentally remained there during 1947 dividation . Keep in mind 89 percent muslim choosen Pakistan not hindus either it was of sindh, Punjab Or east bengladesh . Here is river water, water should not be divided at any cost and even we should reduce bengladesh share till 5 to 10 percent

China can use the same logic and deprive you from Brahmaputra river. Teesta is an international river. India doesn't own it. According to international law, lower riparian countries have equal rights on the water as upper riparian countries. What India is doing is absolutely illegal. How you will farm is not our concern. You cannot illegally withdraw water on which we have equal rights.

Who has stopped India from doing so we have a water treaty on Brahma putra on the basis of Sindhu water treaty with Pakistan and we shall have to utilize our rainy season surplus water too so that it can be utilised to stop desertification in the north west India with out any excuse

Teesta project, which is supposed to be built by China, is a river management system. It will solve all the problems by storing and managing the water. But our "friend India" is repeatedly requesting us not to do that, because china is involved there. Bangladesh wants only its lawful right and application of international laws to share the water.

International rivers are to be shared equally internationally. Imagine, what if China stops water supply of Brahmaputra and Indus then as a lower riparian country India may also suffer the same.

I support Government of West Bengal's instance in this case, why would we share water when our own needs are not fulfilling. And Bangladesh should think that it is very smaller than India and we have a huge population so we need more water than them. Also Bangladesh is a thankless country...its citizens are very arrogant and anti India...they don't even thank us for the services or the helps they get from us. But for our National security ( to prevent China from involving in it) we should take considerable steps. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Making big dams and reservoir on testa river so that rain water is stored and released during dry season. This project should be funded by bangladesh as it will be helpful for them also.

@@anantkumar7805 so what, management matters, narmada river is in the southerm most part of Gujarat, yet it supplies water till it's northernmost part i.e katch region. While WB is still not yet capable of storing and supplying Ganges water even in the central region of bengal.

Also gujarat has been one of the few state which benefitted more from british rule, more and more cotton factories got established here, while WB faced the brunt of divsion as well as british policies, just compare the poverty rate at time of independence and u will get the gist of it. Later due to multiple reasons western coast of india got developed more and more, and this divide got widened. Compare whole scenario not one point from here and one point from there

Teesta is indian river starting from sikkim and ends in west bengal,later enter bangladesh.There is already a water share treaty.Even brahmaputra and Ganga flows from india.once upon a time,even bangladesh was part of india known as east bengal but later they joined pakistan,only to be freed after 1971.
