I would love to see a cross art seminar between Maul Mornie and Salahuddin Muhammad's aiki myoden. I see a lot of similarities in philosophy, namely structure and feeling opponents.

Been watching for the last year or so. Rays balance has improved dramatically. Thank you Maul. After watching your awesome videos and I don't know how many other videos I started teaching this technique to people at snap fitness. I started out in Karate in elementary school and got board with, well because it's Karate and dropped it considering I was getting more out my older brother kicking my ass every day. With and without gloves on. After waking up with pounding headaches. I decided boxing was not my cup of tea. So I did jr wrestling in middle school and in high school I quit the wrestling team after putting some poor guy in the hospital. I knew after that I was a walking killing machine and wanted no part of it anymore. Combinding all that together with Silat. Silat Has taken me to another level and Has dramatically changed how I stand in a fight but also the way I walk through life. Thanks again guys

It’s interesting that everything is made of isometric shapes, the structure of our body makes many triangles, seems to be a sturdy philosophical & physical structure, to understand that one point can always meet two other’s directly, but what goes around does come around. Understanding this and keeping things mixed up, will always keep your opponent busy, your movements less traceable, and thus teaches you to be a harder target. Our skin even shows many dots with tiny little triangles all across it. Our universe is made up of tiny spheres, open your minds to the possibilities, and show yourself that the multidimensional can be better lived in when you are land your consciousness and allow your mind to be open to it, then grasp the powers that be. Everything takes drilling continuously, and a day off means your opponent wins extra hours on the clock. Keep that in mind :) stay disciplined.

I would love to see a slow demonstration as to how you would decide to use each sequential deflection based on where your last one ended, just to see the preferred economy of motion that's intended.

@@anarchosyndicalist I agree, I think that the "what's the next move" options are self evident after a while of training, the Occam's razor of bio physical movement

Yin & Yang never over extend themselves in the movement of the Tao. They are constantly in balance. This is the basis to Maul's structure.

Aidan Fisher It doesn’t show cause youtube doesn’t want people’s feelings hurt but I disliked your comment. Very ignorant. That attitude is not the trait of a true martial artist, just a spectator for sport. May it be well with you 🙏
