Dick names Shakedown's LDU22 1997 Yamaha Diversion "The Camel" for the 2022 Longest Day Challenge benefiting Cancer Research UK
The Longest Day Challenge has been running for 10 years and has raised over £250,000 for Cancer Research UK. Participants ride cheap motorcycles (under £600) from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland over 1000 miles in 24 hours.

Between 1992 and 1995, I had an Africa Twin 750 RD04. One night I had a horrible dream. I woke up convinced I had traded the Africa Twin in for a Diversion 900. I fairly raced down to the garage to make sure I actually hadn't. I don't doubt they are good bikes, though.

I had the same dream. Turns out I got the Diversion...
Same colour as the one I had. Loved it. The weight maybe not so much.

Looks like this bike was ridden hard and put to bed wet. Never garaged I'd say. Sad when folks dont have more love for their bike. Still, if it's a true Yamaha it should preform well for its age.😘
