What would you balance? I agree though, theres so much content people are looking to play. Server browser with workshop maps? Would be pretty cool to hop into a hide and seek server or something for a change.

I think I've said that too, that because of the state of the game and esport, the many negative things that have gone on, people see other much smaller inconsequential events through that magnifying lens and blow it way out of proportion.

I think it’s fine, as long as it’s from any region, not just NA, because mistakes happen in any region we saw the top teams in EU have constant blunders

World of warcraft does a similar thing with the "Roadmap" of upcoming content. Although WoW's new stuff is hardly "content" would be cool for most games to start doing this

Like you say "how can people take this seriously", but in actually its "how can people read this tweet and read what its says"

RL's biggest update would have been RL racing and it would have been nice to know they care about the game by adding new content that differs from the same soccer game mode that has been the same for like almost a decade lol. I've been wanting, waiting and talking about RL adding diff game modes for prolly 4-5 years!! The fact that Epic added RL racing on Fortnite tells you just about everything you need to know, and that is that Epic don't care about refreshing RL and adding to it either from fear, selfishness, or just laziness. TLDR: Epic doesn't need RL to make money, they do it just fine. In fact, most likely the less they update & add to RL the more $$$ they could save ( i.e prolly why they added RL racing to Fortnite)

It never matters. From my perspective (been watching since NRG won worlds with Turbo) even when NA wins worlds like NRG did there is never any credit given. But it seems as though any time EU wins any LAN no matter if it’s worlds or not it is treated instantly as the entire EU region is better (which rn yeah fair enough NA got destroyed at worlds as well did every other region)

How bout just a revamped RL2 on UE5 w more optimized servers. Thats all we really need at this point. Id love to see what would happen if pros have to adjust to a slightly different/newer/better engine controlling the mechanics. And for the love of god imagine playing on wifi.

I mean, it's one thing to make jokes about play, probably not the best look for the desk to clown a whole region... especially given that Stumpy probably couldn't even score on the lowest ranked pro in it. lol

Rainbow 6 is smart. I don't follow them, but if they are doing this roadmap thing now, then they are purely taking advantage of arguably having the biggest streamer bring in a ton of viewers. Pump out content when viewers are the highest = smart move.

They are giving rlcs the same mindset as crl with quals which is toxic ngl

I thought it was funny, but that being said, I agree with some of the points made in this video.

Another thing about the R6 was that I would like to be in rocket league was the analysis breakdown of the game after a map was complete. Just saying would make esports better

Rocket league won't put out a roadmap because they don't have anything to put on it... Other than paid Collab cars that people don't use and the rocket pass

I could be doing something useful with my life. Instead, I watch commentary videos about Rocket League and spend hours every week training air dribbles in training packs. These skills will translate into something useful at some point, right? 😢

The rocket league community is slowing turning into the cod community.

Nobody in eu is undefeated, and the eu ego is so inflated that I cannot wait for this major, I think only 2 teams from eu will show up.

On the "lowlights" topic. (This line will be necessary for the "youre just triggered" kids.) I am NA, EU is better, they win more its statistics. But with that being said I think the lowlights would have worked in a different climate for the community, we are in a time where we are watching a lot of our beloved casters getting cut, the whole vibe is down bad, it feels like we should really be fighting to keep the viewership up and make sure our game survives through a rough time..... But instead someone made the decision to use airtime and a small frame of an editors salary to do something that they are sure is going to upset a demographic. and then not to mention the retaining and gaining viewership. Imagine if it was your first time tuning into RLE and regardless of the region the first thing you see is "lol our pros arent even good at the game" its one thing for the community to have the EU vs. NA debate, but I've always held the opinion that when casters call any region trash it just brings the whole esport down, maybe this is just my experience but ive never seen any other esport go to the length RL casters do when it comes to the best region debate. It really just felt to me like a moment of "well the ship is sinking so why not have a laugh" instead of "the ship is sinking so we need to put our best efforts into highlighting this great esport" TL;DR: In a time of budget cuts and overall community negativity we are spending airtime and a chunk of editor salary to show our esport in a negative connotation, when we should be telling everyone about how amazing the whole RL scene is.

The EU team is mainly British and we are INCREDIBLY sarcastic so if NA did something like that for EU no one would care but it feels like NA is always more sensitive about these things

The disdain the Epic has caused with the RL community is palpable, and totally unnecessary. They literally just tore the most unique parts of rocket league out and jammed them into Fortnite. And I don’t think they’re gonna work. Rocket racing blows, its physics are worse than NFS. There’s approximately fuck all in the FN cosmetic ecosystem that worth trading, but they need it so much over there, even though it was taken out of RL to be in line with that God awful game. Edit: maybe it’s time for streamers to start naming and shaming devs who ruin games just for the money.

It's just a cheap shot to do that to NA, though. I may be wrong, but I didn't see any NA broadcasts ripping on Zen for the worst own goal in RLCS history, and I'd like to think it's because there's enough respect for the game to know that bad miscues and easy tap-in goals off misses are just a part of the game and can happen to anyone.

Me and my buddy a couple weeks back kept getting lobbies with horrible connections but the players were flat out ass at the game. We let it go on for a few games before we figured out for whatever reason we were playing on EU servers. EU better keep their mouths shut because they were getting no diff’ed while we had horrible connection lmao
