I think another problem is youtubers only play what's popular to pay rent, so you'd have bigass youtubers like kreekcraft that just gas up whatever's the talk of the town and not providing actual criticism or reviewing the game. Examples like alone come to mind, quite literally made to be a kreek-trap. Though it definitely says a lot when their fast food games get at most a stream and a video or two while stuff like piggy and doors gets to be all he talks about for a few years each.

It slightly annoys me that the game says "It's below 1°C". The freezing point of water is 0°C, and while yeah, "Below 1" could mean below 0 as well, they still somehow fucked up something basic like the freezing point.

Honestly I only watched a few videos on this game and I immediately got flashbacks to those "The (job) experience" where it's just a bunch of meaningless tasks which gets repetitive and is unreplayable. I'm not a big fan of doors because I feel as if there isn't anything impressive after you played at least 10 rounds, but at least it's random with it's choice of monsters and rooms, so I'm still interested in the gameplay. I like the game style, it's unique and it reminds me of the old roblox games I played in 2013, but it feels a little too cartoony. Not much of a surprise when it's a cash grab. I still don't get how anyone enjoys this game or how anyone enjoyed it when it first released.

21:04 You can't forget that in "Weird Strict Boss" they didn't even showed us where is a cup for water. Only chips they showed. (Maybe they changed or not, but dang they copy-paste every weird strict game. EVEN UI and GAMEPASSES are copied-pasted. Developer Products (like jumpscare everyone, invisible and stuff) are the same as different weird strict games. Of course, some of them maybe look different, but while playing some games it looked exactly the same.)

Yay, im so excited. Chapter 3 just completely abandon the "strict dad" motive. Despite how bad this game is, atleast chapter 1 and 2 was about your father figure. It felt more agonizing trying to complete this chapter than any other. The ending was so disappointing too. (I would rather cover myself in paper cuts in jump in pool of lemon juice then play this game again.)

It's funny how weird Strict dad is made by 2 people while far from land begin as a solo project and took 8 months to release. (not including me as a tester or other testers, which was like mid development and the other 2 or 3 devs helping with Modeling or helping Zack with the project) You can definitely do something with 2 people or a small party.

weird strict boss is all the problems of weird strict dad but on steroids i was starting to get pissed off because you need to go upstairs and down the stairs at the furthest points of the map over and over again... and you also play "Hold 'E' Simulator" for about 20 minutes before the game actually begins weird strict teacher is in my opinion the best version of weird strict dad because it gets right into the gameplay without needing to clean a bunch of trash around the map

A game worth noticing is Rooms & Doors by CJ4, On your first ever playthrough, the game forces you into solo play to learn about the game by yourself. The game starts with a cutscene of you going to The Rooms in the middle of the sea, riding a boat. After the cutscene, actual gameplay starts. The game ends at A-1000 and is ACTUALLY hard to do, but theres charms to help you out that need to be obtained. Here are some examples: Envy: hear dead players and has a chance to notify about entities. Sloth: when hiding, stamina regenerates 5x faster and theres no damage punisent for hoding late. Wrath: doubles stamina and connects it to HP, but you recieve +50% more damage.

16:30 - It's also shameful to admit if you don't grab a baseball bat whilst you're there you just don't get one, like at all. I saw a KZreadr make a lot of videos on weird strict games but when they played OBSCURE- a horror game in beta the original vid title was along the lines of this is the state of Roblox horror games which compared to the WSD had more effort put into it, honestly I feel like KZreadrs are fueling this problem of these types of games too
